The heat was was almost unbearable, they couldn't stand it for another second. He hated the sweat that glistened down his forehead. She disliked the unavoidable waves of heat that hit them at every second of every damn day. 

They were trapped in this neverending maze that felt like hell. It wouldn't stop until they killed each other, but how can you do that to your own siblings? Besides, it wouldn't be satisfying to feel each other's blood on their hands, they practically had the same anyway. 

The heat of the summer was practically the reason they were the blood-thirsty killers they are today.
