Efria, an angel without wings
Her cries was heard from the deepest pits of hell
And felt from the highest clouds of heaven
For her wings was taken away by her most trusted man

She laid on the bloody ground
Cried so, so loud
Daughter of Sun and Moon
Has two prophecy to live and perform

After long time of crying:
And morning for her lost wing
She realized that she can't let them win
The bastard will pay for what he done

The radiance of the moon and sun affixed on her
Slowly faded with her glowing blood eyes
All she could feel was pain and hatred:
It killed her old stupid self

Even though she can feel:
The overflowing pain like never before
She managed to get up and be strong
All she wanted to do is to have her sweetest revenge

Mortals can never have the last laugh
Pain and vengeance motivated her
She trained herself to be dangerous as hell
No one can ever make her stop

She hid herself on the mountain
Built her own castle:
And trained a lot of creatures to fight
Until she found a way for a flight

Her cold blood eyes captured a flying crow
Flying with his safety haven
Insecurity filled her mind like the claw of raven
With sharp eyes followed him around

Until she saw him being captured by a hunter
She will never let a mortal take her first prey
So she used her powers and turned him into a man
The hunter runaway while turning gray

The crow stood there, naked and grumpy
But still his body was full of glory
"What did you do to my beauty?"
He asked, full of weary

She smirked, full of evilness within
"I saved your life, you should thank me,"
She answered with all of her might
The crow look confused but vow eventually

"My name is Adesse, pardon me for asking:
what do you want me to do?"
He introduced himself with so much pride
He bit his lower lip from time to time

"Wings. I need you to be my wings."
And that's the start of her revenge
She ordered her army to be ready
For they will attack with the Almighty

Adesse became her spy
She can turned him into whatever she wants:
But not wolves
He becomes her eye in the sky

Started to get to know each other
And be comfortable with each touch
Both full of hatred for human
Found comfort together

Midnight, when they hear the roaring of the mortals
With stronger senses they move like wind
They will not let any of those disgusting creatures kill them
A blood for a blood that's what they oath in front of the Queen

The first attacked was fast
For the second attacked:
She let her men do as what they planned
They attacked the traitor's kingdom and killed everyone

Efria laughed hysterically:
As she watched everything
She laughed every single night
Full of sarcasm and evilness

Adesse just watched everything she did
Wondering if she's really happy:
Or just faking it?
Worrying about her every day

Things becomes worst
Every little thing is in chaos
Many shed blood and tears
Everyone is inside the war

Efria couldn't control herself
Succumbed to darkness
And now she's nowhere
The first prophecy has been lived

She cast nothingness and bloodshed
The traitor is dead
But not her vengeance
And thirst of every mortal's red fluid

As she attacked the last town
Killed everyone with her power
Madness consumed her whole fiber
Rage lived for every inch of her veins

Until Adesse hold her hands
Intertwined it with his and kissed her hair
He whispered sweet things to her
Letting her know how he feels

How he let go of the raging fire inside him
How he love every evil thing she did
How he became comfortable with her
And how he changed for her

And at that moment, everyone dropped their weapons
Full of awe while watching them
A wingless angel and a mere flying creature
Calming each other's rage with their simple touch

And that's how the myth of Efria and Adesse ended
Other's say that they disappeared after that scene
Some say they're still here, living full of peacefulness
But, one thing is for sure everyone has dark and light

When Efria lost her wings
She thought that it's her end:
Darkness lurk inside her for the long time
Trapping inside the radiance she once have

But when Adesse came and becomes her wings
He started to light up her world:
He freed her radiance once more
Because Adesse is Efria's salvation.

Message: I watched Maleficent on March 4 and got an idea. I honestly shipped Maleficent and her crow (forgot his name). I have so many songs to listened so that I can finished this. And just completely re-read Sunburned Heart, as usual, naiyak pa rin ako sa Epilogue. And pinagsama ko ang lahat and this is the result. Hope you like this because I put so many efforts for this poem. Can't believe na makakarating ako sa pahinang ito. Gosh! Have a nice day! Lovelots!
