[Hiccup's POV]
My father was being the normal jerk he always is, telling me to stay away from the fight, but I just want to fit in! All I have to do is kill a dragon!

I sit in the cove I had discovered a while back while trying to stay away from my tormentors. The cove is surrounded by cliffs on all sides and there's a small pond and a few trees along the sides. I was sitting on top of the large rock that rested in the center when I saw the glow.

I jump to my feet when I see the glowing lump shooting above the top of my cove by about 100 feet.

"May the Gods damn my curiosity!" I mutter under my breath as I start walking towards the direction the shape went in.

After climbing one of the walls of the cove, I trundled through the bushes and eventually came across strange sight. Smoke rose from a metal building that rested in a clearing that seemed to burn down a lot of the trees around it. About a hundred or so kids my age were running around, just playing for some reason.

I was close enough to hear a blonde girl say, "They dropped us on the wrong damn mountain." Who the hel is they?

[Murphy's POV]
Of course that damn guy - what's his name, Bellamy? - just had to let his sister go first. Who the hell has a sister anyways?

"Can't believe this bullshit." I muttered, before smiling as I saw a familiar face. A tall kid with black hair ran up to me, and pulled me in for a 'manly' hug. I grinned.

"Hey, Mbege! I thought they floated you!" I shouted, hugging the only friend I'd ever had.

"Yo Murphy! Glad to see ya! What'cha think of the ground?" He grinned, eyes sparkling in excitement. I do admit, I've had a slight crush on him for a couple years but he sadly doesn't swing that way.

I glance around, just to spot that damn kid Wells talking with a blonde girl who carried a map. Well, didn't she looked worried.

Here we are! First chapter's done! I do admit, it is a bit short. But hey!

Goddess: Aren't You going to mention Faded?
