"The castle's completely destroyed." Allura mumbled.

I know this wasn't mentioned at all last chapter but that is because I'm a silly dumb dumb.

"Guys." Pidge said. "I gave my dad a copy of the castle's schematics."

"And he's on Earth now." Allura sighed.

"So?" Keith said. "We'll return to Earth. We're going home."

A few days later, the Paladins were ready.

After Lance sorted who was with who (a terrible idea, really) the Paladins got to their lions, and started the year long trip home.

"What is everyone most excited about when they return home?" Coran asked.

"Seeing my family." Hunk replied.

"Yeah! Seeing my grandparents, and parents. And my brother Marco and my other brother Luis and my sister Veronica and all the nieces and nephews." Lance replied.

"I'm excited to see my dog." Rora said. "And finally getting new makeup that wasn't stolen by Kassy."

"I just want to see mom." Pidge said. "That's all I want."

"I can't wait to see my son." Shiro smiled. "And my best friend. I think that's all I want right now."

"Keith?"

"...hm? Oh, uh, probably getting to eat something other than food goo."

Everyone agreed.

"Oh, excuse me?" Kassy called to a young woman who was sat at a computer. She had returned to the Galaxy Garrison to gather up her things after refusing to speak about what had happened until the Paladins returned.

She turned. "Is everything alright?"

"Yeah, I was told to come here to get my stuff."

"Oh! Oh, Miss Blackwood, don't worry, I have it here."

Kassy smiled and took her belongings, looking through them. "Oh, my gosh." she picked up some papers, which had drawings on them. "I assumed they'd have thrown these away."

"Drawings?"

"My siblings drew them for me. For good luck." She smiled.

"Oh, yeah. I have a lot of younger siblings too." the woman smiled. "I get how that is."

"What's your name?" Kassy asked.

"Veronica."

"Call me Kassy." she smiled.

"What does this button do?" Romelle asked Lance.

"Don't touch that."

"What about this one?"

"Don't touch that one either."

"I'm bored."

"Well, here, take my headset, talk to Coran. Or something."

"Hi everyone!" Romelle called.

"Hi, Romelle!" Coran replied.

"Let's play I spy!"

"Okay, I'll go first." Coran said. "I spy with my little singular eyeball... something beginning with... Afus!"

"We don't know the Altean alphabet, Coran."

"Well, now's the time to learn! Romelle, you know it, don't you?"

"Yep!"

The two started singing the Altean alphabet, loudly.

"Romelle, please, be quiet. I need to concentrate."

Pidge and Rora, meanwhile, were together in the green lion, playing video games in silence.

"I beat you again." Pidge said.

"I know." She replied.

They started another level. "I love Super Smash Bros."

"Same." Rora yawned. "Can we do Just Dance next?"

"Nope."
