"He has my dad." Pidge mumbled.

Keith turned to Pidge. "Let's think about this for a second."

"We are getting my dad back." she said.

"Yes. We will. But let's think about this. It's the Galra, are you sure they won't try to pull anything? Think about the good of the universe for a second."

"The good of the universe? What about the good of me! I want my dad! We have what he wants, he has what we want, simple!"

"It's not that simple, Pidge." Keith replied. "I understand you're restless. But we need to think logically."

It had been around 2 months since Shiro went missing, and things had progressed. Allura had become the blue Paladin, Lance the red, and Keith the black. Lotor had saved them - however, they were still wary to trust him.

"Oh my God, my baby just kicked me." Kassy interrupted.

"What?" Allura turned to her.

"Sorry, I know you're having an important conversation, that's just the first time, and..."

"No, no, it's okay! That's really exciting!" Allura walked over to her. "Are they still kicking?" She placed a hand onto Kassy's bump.

"I wanna feel!" Hunk went over, as did Lance.

"Guys. As great as that is, we have a huge problem."  Pidge said.

"And as bad as that is, I'm excited that I can feel my baby moving." Kassy replied.

"I mean, we're going to have a baby on the ship really soon! That's so exciting!" Allura added.

"That won't matter if Lotor kills us all and we don't have my dad! Am I the only person who cares about this?! Rora! You care, don't you?"

"Yes, Pidge, of course I care! But we can still be excited."

"Ugh, Shiro would know what to do." Pidge mumbled.

"Well, Shiro isn't here." Keith replied. "Fine. We'll get your dad. But if this goes badly, we know who it's down to."

"Keith, that's not how a leader does things. We don't throw the blame around." Kassy said to him. Aka, you don't speak to my daughter like that.

So, they went to swap them.

They all stood almost completely still, watching as Lotor and Sam passed each other with their breaths held. As soon as they passed each other, Pidge called out.

"Dad!" she ran over, going to throw her arms around his neck.

However, he glitched, and disappeared.

"Dad?"

The group watched in horror as Lotor was pulled onto the Galra ship and they were left alone.

Kassy walked forward towards Pidge.

"Pidge..." she placed a hand on her shoulder.

Pidge pushed her away, and ran back towards the castle.

"I knew this was a bad idea." Keith mumbled, watching as Rora ran after her sister.

"Keith, you're forgetting Pidge is still a kid." Kassy said. "She's not even 16 yet. Of course she wants her dad."

Keith shook his head, returning to the castle.

"God, we really need Shiro." Hunk mumbled.

Rora had followed Pidge back to her room, and was rubbing her back as she cried into her pillow, while blinking back tears of her own.

"We're gonna get him back." she mumbled.

"You don't know that!"

"I know. But we're sure as Hell going to try. Sometimes things don't work the first time."

"Now Zarkon has the one advantage we had. Keith was right."

"It's okay, Pidge." Rora mumbled. "Not your fault. How could we have known?"

"Hey." Hunk knocked on the door. "Pidge, I made your favourite, hot chocolate. And I didn't tell anyone it's your favourite like you made me promise."

Pidge looked up. "Not even Kassy?"

"Not even Kassy." he went and sat down, handing her it. "It'll be okay. We will get your dad. It's just part of this job. Sometimes, things are gonna suck. And granted, they've sucked for a few months. But we'll still get through this."

Pidge nodded, wiping her eyes. "Yeah."

"Bring it in, you two."

Hunk pulled the two smaller girls into a hug, and they stayed like that for a while.
