as the news was spread around school. woojin felt hopeless. hashtags wouldn't bring the two boys back, but what he really thought about was, he told the boy not to do anything stupid. he told both of them. but none listened and he should have known better.

an innocent sixteen year old took his life. because he didn't love someone the way they loved him.

while a seventeen year old boy who was emotionally unstable, was the one who lured him into his death.

that's how the story was told.

chan sat next to woojin, comforting him most of the days. "h—hey..don't bring yourself down. minho was crazy, jisung was impulsive and manipulated."

"but they both..d—died." woojin's voice then cracked, "m—minho..I understood his love for jisung. he'd ramble about him at least once a week. maybe even more. but, he's crazy for that boy..who knew that his love for him was so unstable and unhealthy. it was unexpected..he snapped. both of them did. and we couldn't help them.."

chan kissed woojin's forehead, trying to make him feel better. "you did your best. we should watch over jeongin as well. he's thinks he's a part of jisung's suicide because of the phone call he made."

woojin shook his head, "already talked to him. he's going to see a counselor and talk his feelings out. his family is even watching him closely too. don't worry."

"that's good. that's good.." chan then ran his fingers through woojin's hair. "do you think..minho was literally crazy?"

woojin then looked into chan's eyes. they were soulless and tired. "ten fucking years. ten fucking years without you." he whispered harshly, "try and live with that, then one day you show up.  how would you feel? but then again, how would you feel when you realize that he's then in love with one of your best friends. who wouldn't turn crazy."

chan gulped and nodded, "y—you're right."

"let's not think about it anymore. they're both..happy." woojin sighed, tired of saying that word. "I love you."

"I love you too." chan replied softly.

woojin wanted to say his 'I love yous' to chan. because what if he'd disappear. just like what happened to jisung.

for ten years. a seven year old boy had turned crazy in love for his childhood best friend. and when he meant crazy, he meant crazy.

this was the prepared ending.
the OG version of this story aka
mr. lover boy was going to have
a way more FLUFFIER, SWEET,
CUTE ending. but, we need some
angst and sad fics. because ten years
without someone you truly love

can fuck you up big time.

it started off with the love letters
when he went missing then it ended
with his suicide ones when he realized
jisung couldn't be his anymore

but even if minho was only
seven, he knew what he wanted
and who he wanted.

also, when I meant
minho will do anything to
keep jisung from leaving him
again in the intro

I meant anything

so there you have it.
I hoped you enjoyed this story
this is actually one of my
favorites, honestly
I'm glad I'm trying new
endings and stuff. because not
all stories have happy endings
