Special Chapter

Okay xD so I've changed my mind! Random requests are on my newly published book, the special chapters in this book all eventually have something to do with the main plot J so keep ur eyes peeled!

"Tell me! Who killed her?!" I pulled onto Seiji's collar.

"Subaru! Calm the hell down! It's just the cycle of a human life!"

"She was my whole world." I slowly let loose.

It was all so sudden, Ashlynn just left, just like that. With no condition or whatsoever. Her name was placed onto the fate database so quickly, it doesn't make sense.

"You know what," I took a few steps backwards, "I'm gonna find out. And when I do, that demon is going down."

"Subaru—!" Seiji tried to talk me out of it, but my natural power and personality won't allow me to cool down that easily.

I tracked all the way to a hospital room, it just seemed like Ashlynn's scent.

Setting up my barrier that not even demons and angels and see through, I walked right in that hospital room.

Only to see...a demon, saving a human with his power, with another human woman standing beside him in worry and horror.

Demon prince, Kakeru Kamui...

Leonard narrated everything for me in my mind. I now have all the information I need.

Looks like Takara's older sister, Makoto, is dying during child birth; and Kakeru here is saving her with his power of manipulating life force.

But he knows that with all of his power, he can still only save one of them, right?

As a flash of light went off, and I didn't even blink an eye, Kakeru was now on the ground, paler than a vampire.

I glanced at the woman on the hospital surgery bed, she was alive, alright.

Wait...the baby is too...but that's not possible....

I stand right next to Makoto, and ever so lightly rested my hand on her stomach.

Ashlynn...

Suddenly, I burned with rage, my dark ginger hair turned bright red.

They had to take an extra soul to save the baby.

Kakeru did have strong powers, but not enough to save two human lives. That means, he only saved Makoto, but killed another person at the other side of the country in order to get an extra soul for the baby.

In other words, they killed an innocent life for this one to live.

My now fire-red pupils dart to Kakeru harshly, he was speaking with Takara, who had tears streaming down her face, before slowly passing out due to power loss.

I stared at the woman for another few seconds, the baby is a she.

Canon.

A small smile tugged at my lips, I can feel my eyes returning to their usual hazel color.

I'll definitely come see you, Canon. For you, are Ashlynn.

I stopped, and thought for a second.

Wasn't father's name....Naozomu...Kamui?

The Kamui family...they've never done anything good to me...to us.... They forced us down to the human realm and we hid, to protect ourselves.

And now, their heir killed the only girl I've ever loved, who was supposed to have an 87-year life span, rather than 24.

I swear, I'll take my revenge if it's the last thing I do, Kamui.
