It was a beautiful sunny afternoon as a silver plane was soaring in the sky as it soared above a large city known as Viridian City, located in the Kanto Region. The sky was clear blue with a few clouds in the sky, a beautiful day for a plane ride.

Simeon was sitting next to the window on the plane as Cookie was resting peacefully on his lap. He looked down and gently petted her head."Hey, Cookie wake up we're finally in the  Kanto Region," He said.

"Lilipup," Cookie said happily looking up at the window as she saw the city below in view.

The plane slowly began to descend low to the ground as it was getting ready to land. The landing gears lowered its tires screeching as they hit the ground. As soon as it connected to the terminal and allowed the passengers to disembark.

"We officially landed in Kanto," Simeon said and he grabbed his bag from under the seat in front of him and got off the plane, and began walking out of the airport.

"Lili," Cookie cried out happily nuzzling against Simeon's leg.

"Yeah girl I'm just as excited to finally be in Kanto that flight was a long one," He said smiling at Cookie as they walked into the city."First, we call home to let the family we made it and get you a check-up at the Pokemon Center."

"Lilipup!" Cookie cried out as Simeon returned her to her Pokeball.

Simeon was walking through the streets of Viridian City passing through the crowd of people. He then saw a group of Rattata running into the alley nearby.

'Rattata is not native or common in Unova but have seen a few back home.' Simeon thought recognizing the Pokemon.

He gently smiled at a young boy playing with Pikachu in the yard of a house nearby with his father watching him from the balcony of the house. It remained how he was when he met Cookie and wasn't afraid of Pokemon anymore.

He finally arrived at the Pokemon Center after a ten-minute walk from the airport as he entered the Pokemon Center and headed to Cookie's Pokeball to Nurse. Once that was taken care of he walked over and say down at one of the video phones a dial his home phone number. A few minutes passed before his father appeared on the screen.

"Hi, son," His father greeted with a warm smile.

"Hello, Dad. Is mom home did she leave for work?" Simeon asked."Also, I made it to Viridian City."

"Yeah, she left actually just left, and so then Cheren decided to go on another journey of his own," Liam said."They would be happy to know you made it to Kanto safely. How is the egg at the moment and Cookie? The flight wasn't too much for her or the egg right?"

"The egg is safe in my bag and Cookie getting looked at by Nurse Joy, but the egg and Cookie are both fine. If anything Cookie is just tired from the long flight."

"That's good to hear," Liam said."Also, make sure you take good care of the egg. It should possibly be close to hatching, but Nurse Joy can tell you for sure so have her take a look at it. Anyway, you are ready for  the Indigo League confident you can earn all eight badges?" He asked.

"Yeah I believe that me and Cookie will do great," Simeon said."I will be heading to the first gym after seeing Professor which I plan to do once I register for the Indigo League."

"Glad to hear that, but before you hang up want to let you know another familiar face headed to Kanto as well," Liam said.

"Really"

"You know him well he is loud and blonde," Liam replied.

"I should have figured to explain why he called saying he wasn't coming to the party," Simeon chuckled."He left before me and didn't he?"

"You know that boy he always got to be a step ahead like he reads your mind," Liam said.

"Simeon Mayflower your Pokemon is healthy and ready to be picked up at the front desk!" Nurse Joy announced on the speaker.

"Alright going to get going talk to you later," Simeon said.

"See you and stay safe on your journey."

"I will."

Simeon hung up the phone and headed over to the front desk and retrieve his Pokeball containing Cookie.

"Thank you, Nurse Joy I would like to sign up for the Indigo League and have my Pokemon egg examined," Simeon said putting Cookie's Pokeball on his belt, before pulling out his egg.

"You welcome and I can take care of both of those," Nurse Joy said taking the egg and heading to the back room to examine the egg.

'I wonder how close to will be to hatching.' Simein thought as he waited patiently for Nurse Joy to return.

"Your egg is perfectly healthy and should be close to hatching," Nurse Joy said returning the egg to Simeon."Now your Pokedex please so I can get you registered for the Indigo League."

"Here you go," Simeon said giving Nurse Joy his blue and red Pokedex since Professor Juniper modeled it with his two favorite colors.

Nurse Joy hooked the Pokedex and placed it in a slot on the computer as a picture of him appeared on the screen.

"Simeon Mayflower from Nuvema Town in the Unova Region has been registered for the Indigo League." The computer announced.

"You all registered now to enter the league you need to earn eight gym badges," Nurse Joy said giving Simeon back his Pokedex."Here is a badge case as well to put your badges in," She said giving a red square case to Simeon.

"Thank you," Simeon said nodding his thanks as he took the case and placed it in his jacket pocket with his Pokedex, he grabbed the egg off the desk and put it in his bag before leaving the Pokemon Center to head off to Pallet Town to see Professor Oak.
