Kitvine arrived in a field and set Mina down as it used Razor Leaf on juicy Oran Berry in the tree and used its vines to give it to Mina.

"Pika!" Mina cried out happily as she began snacking on the Oran berry.

Kitvine yawned as she curled against a tree under the shade to take a relaxing nap. Mina looks at Kitvine curiously.

"Hey, Mina!" Timothy called out as he and Kristina arrived in the field.

"Pikachu!" Mina cried out excited to see her trainer.

"Kitvine!" Kitvine cried out as he got into a protective stance at the site of Timothy and Kristina.

"We figured we would find you here," Kristina said with a smile.

"Yeah, it's great how well Wilson knows Kitvine," Timothy said, walking forward.

"Kit!" Kitvine cried out as he charged at Timothy as he walked closer to Mina.

"Pi!" Mina cried out worriedly.

Kitvine then slammed into Timothy's stomach, sending him flying back and crashing almost into a tree.

"No, Timbo!" Kristina yelled, running towards Timothy panicked and worried for her best friend.

"Boy, that was a powerful tackle," Timothy groaned as he slowly sat up.

"Hey, are you okay?" Kristina asked, kneeling next to Timothy.

Kitvine moved his back paw back tossing up dirt as his eye narrowed at Timothy as if adamantly saying, "You won't get any closer to Mina." Mina got in front of Kitvine, waving her paws at him.

"Pika, Pika," Mina cried out, pleading for Kitvine to stop attacking her trainer.

"Vine," Kitvine said, nodding completely misunderstanding the whole situation of what was going on.

"Wow," Timothy mumbled."Kitvine is not listening to Mina at all," He commented.

"Yeah, I know some people like that or more like a person like that," Kristina muttered, thinking about one specific person who never listened to anyone.

"Pikachu," Mina said, shaking Kitvine, trying to get him to listen to him.

"Hey Kitvine, listen to me. Mina is my best friend," Timothy said, dusting off his jacket."I only came here to get my partner back after finding her gone. I never do anything to hurt her or any other Pokémon," He explained.

Kitvine sheepishly glanced at Mina to confirm if what Timothy was saying was true.

"Pikachu," Mina said with a nod in agreement with Timothy.

"Kit!" Kitvine cried out in surprise and backed away in shame at attacking an innocent trainer and kidnapping his partner Pokémon.

"It seems Kitvine is sorry for the mistake of judgment of me being a bad person," Timothy said, standing up.

"Yeah, but I feel Kitvine is a bit too sorry, in my opinion," Kristina commented.

Timothy slowly walked over towards Kitvine, who had his head down, and as soon as he reached him slowly crouched down gently touching Kitvine's head."Hey, don't worry about it, Kitvine. I'm grateful that you would protect Mina even if it was a misunderstanding. The way you care for other Pokémon is sweet."

"Pika, Pika!" Mina said in agreement with Timothy.

Kitvine looked up at Timothy, with small tears in his eyes, still feeling kind of bad about his rash behavior. However, the moment was cut short by a weakened insectoid Pokémon that has a primarily green body and a thin cream color section between its head, throax, and large abdomen. Its reptilian head has two narrow, triangular yes and three blunt horns extending from its forehead. Its arms end in a large white scythe, and two pairs of cream-colored wings extend from its back.

"That's a Scyther, but something seems wrong," Timothy said, looking over at the weakened Scyther.

"A Scyther let me take a look," Kristina said taking out her Pokedex to get some information on the wild Scyther.

While she did that Timothy rushed over towards the wild Scyther passed out on the ground injured and weak.

[Scyther, the Mantis Pokémon. A bug and flying type. Its claws are sharp as swords, and it is a powerful flyer. Humans rarely see this Pokémon and rarely capture it.]

"Kristina we got to help it can you look for medicine in my bag pock," Timothy said gently picking up the Scyther and examining its body.

"It looks like it crashed into something, but maybe Wilson can help us out since I don't see anything more than a regular potion," Kristina said."This injury looks like it needs a super potion."

"Right then let's get back to Wilson's house fast!" Timothy shouted as he carefully stood up with Scyther in his arms as he rushed off to Wilson's house with Kristina and Kitvine following closely behind him.

Timothy, Kristina, and Kitvine were now gathered inside of Wilson's house as Scyther was lying on a red blanket. Wilson was kneeling against Scyther as he mixed up warm heberal medicine and glanced at Scyther.

"Alright these herbs should heal up those wounds and bruises nicely," Wilson said as he lifted the small bowl toward Scyther's face."You be better real soon though this doesn't seem like a simple injury from a crash while flying," He said.

"Scyther," Scyther cried out weakly as it slowly swallowed the medicine it was being given.

"What do you mean?" Kristina asked looking at Scyther's concern along with Kitvine who was supposedly close to Timothy.

"What I mean is that some of the wounds were caused by a fire attack."Wilson started."That is odd given there isn't a single fire type living around here meaning someone attacked Scyther," He explained.

"So your saying that someone attack Scyther," Timothy replied.

"Yes it seems to be the case," Wilson replied. 

However while the threading with Kitvine were monitoring over Scyther's wounds they unaware of an pair of brown eyes watching them closely through the window while hiding in the bushes. 

The eyes belong to none other then a small red, white, and orange puppy Pokémon resembles a Dalmatian with a flame on its tail and was wearing a special red collar. 

"So thats were the Scyther ended up at," A feminine voice said with a chuckle as an fair skin woman with long wavy blonde hair and sky blue eyes wearing a long sleeve red shirt and black pants as she kneel near the fire type touching the collar."We wait for a bit longer before we make a move, but seems this new flame collar powering up your fire type moves greatly Pyropup."

Timothy along with Kristina and Kitvine were now sitting outside at a table as they were a steaming pot soup Wilson made them for lunch was placed at the center of the table.

"Wow this smells very delicious it Bern a while since I had homemade soup," Timothy commented using the soup spoon to fill himself with a bowl of soup.

"Well it the least I could for helping collect the herbs to heal Scyther," Wilson said."So your both heading to Moonfall City?" He asked.

"Yes I'm entering the Pokemon contest," Kristina replied. 

"Hey Scyther how your food?" Timothy asked looking over at Scyther who was eating soup from a red bowl.

As Scyther finshed it bowl of Pokémon food Kitvine pushed its bowl over towards Scyther making sure it had it fill of food.

"Your very kind and protective,  but don't let that get to your head or my stomach," Timothy said.

Kitvine looked down sheepishly as it recalled the way it attacked Timothy just for trying to get him Pokémon freind back,  making Timothy chuckle at the scene before him.

"Hey I'm just playing around I know that you were just worried about Mina," Timothy said looking at Mina who was on the ground next to him eating."Also you sure be eating as well," He said filling up other red bowl of soup and placed it down in front of Kitvine. 

"Kit!" Kitvine cried out happily jumping onto Timothy's stomach knocking him down and nuzzling against his chest.

"Oh Kitvine you little scamper," Wilson said laughing.

"Scamper?" Kristina questioned wondering if that was a nickname.

"Kitvine has a habit of tackling and nuzzling those he likes," Wilson explained.

"So then Kitvine does that to you as well?" Kristina asked.

"Yes, of course. Come here Kitvine," Wilson said signaling for Kitvine to come over.

"Kit!" Kitvine cried getting off of Timothy and happy jumped over towards Wilson who stopped Kitvine in his tracks as he happily started playing with a ball of yawn.

"Wow you block it with a distraction of a ball of yawn," Kristina said impressed.

However,, the peace was ruined as two strange sliver balls came towards Kitvine and Scyther and turned into a tight string and wrapped tightly around Scyther and Kitvine and started them away towards the bushes.

"Kitvine and Scyther!" Timothy shouted running towards the direction of the two Pokémon.

Timothy eyes widened as he saw a woman catch both of them in a cage locking them up.

"Who is she?" Kristina asked. 

"I have seen that face on a wanted poster she known as Pokémon hunter Bonnie," Wilson replied. 

"That right and this Scyther and Kitvine are coming with," Bonnie said pushing aside the bushes reveal a green truck.."I originally wanted Scyther there quite rare in the Amoxa Region given there from Kanto and very few live here in Amoxa since a few migrate here, but Kitvine evolution quite a powerhouse will get plenty of buyers willing to pay for these two," She stated. 

"No way you're getting away with that!" Timothy shouted. 

"We see about that Pyropup ake care of them!" Bonnie said as her fire-type pokemon jumped from out of the trunk and landed at her feet.

"Pyro!" Pyropup cried out ready to battle. 

"Pyropup?" Timothy questioned pointing his Pokedex at the fire type dalmatian.

[Pyropup,  the Fire Pup Pokémon. A fire type. Pyropup is a very friendly playful. When happy there tail wags the happier they are. Parents often give this pokemon to children due to there playful nature. They many be small, but they will never hesitate to protect there trainer.]

"Alright let's go Mina!" Timothy called out. 

"I need your help as well Moon!" Kristina said sending out her Pokémon as well.

"Pyro use Ember!" Bonnie commanded. 

"Mina Thundershock!"

"Moon dodge!" Kristina said. 

"Cos!" Moon cried out as it quickly jumped out of the way avoiding incoming powerful Ember attack.

"Pikachu!" Mina cried out as she released a shock of electricity hitting Pyropup knocking it away from Moon.

"Now Moon Pound!"

"Cosbit!" Moon cried out as it used it body to pound Pyropup in the head as it was still recovering from the Thundershock.

"Pyro!" Pyropup cried out slowly getting up from the ground.

"Pyropup Bite on on the Cosbit!"

"Mina slow it down with Thunder Wave!" Timothy commanded.

"Pika!" Mina cried out as she released a electric wave of energy at Pyropup and stopping Pyropup in it tracks as it struggled to move.

"Don't let that stop you again use Bite!"

"Oh no you don't!" Timothy shouted.

"Pikachu!" Mina cried out as she jumped into the air and swung her tail sending a wave of golden stars flying and landing a direct blow at Pyropup sending him crashing into the cage with Scyther and Kitvine sending it flying in the air.

When suddenly the cage was glowing blue as it landed safely on the ground away from Bonnie. 

 "Awesome Mina you learn Swift and Moon seem to know Confusion now," Timothy said impressed.

"Pyropup return," Bonnie said returning her Pokémon."You win for now only but next time we meet you won't win this easily onky won because Pyropup around won out," She said getting in her truck and driving off quickly. 

"She gone," Kristina said.

"Let's not worry about the important thing is Scyther and Kitvine are safe," Timothy said walking over to the cage and opening it freeing the two Pokémon."Well, you take care," He said as he and Kristina got ready to leave. 

However they were stopped in there tracks as Kitvine jumped in front of Timothy stopping him in his tracks.

"Hey what's up?" Timothy asked.

"It looks like Kitvine wants to go with you Timothy," Wilson said.

"On really?" Timothy asked. 

Kitvine nodded. Timothy then reached for a Pokeball and walked over toward Kitvine who happily tapped on it himself to be successful captured by Timothy without a battle. 

"Alright I caught an Kitvine!" Timothy cheered happily holding up the Pokeball containing his new Pokémon.

"Congratulations I hope you and Kitvine do well on your journey," Wilson said waving bye to Timothy and Kristina as they continued on there way to Moonfall City.
