Kristina stood in the middle beautiful lush sunlit meadow located not far from the exit of the Twisted Forest, a wide expanse of wildflowers sway gently in the breeze. The air was filled with the sift hum of nature, the perfect setting for her and Rosemary to practice for the upcoming Pokémon Contest in Moonfall City. Rosemary fluttered before her trainer, eager and full of energy. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, mingling with the excitement of an upcoming Pokémon Contest.

The air was filled with the sift hum of nature, the perfect setting for her and Rosemary to practice for the upcoming Pokémon Contest in Moonfall City. Rosemary fluttered before her trainer, eager, and full of energy. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, mingling with the excitement of an upcoming Pokémon Contest.

Timothy and Dexter sat nearby along with there Pokémon partners Mina and Nala sitting on there laps watching Kristina and Rosemary performance.

"Alright, Rosemary," Kristina began, her voice calm yet firm, let's start with Gust attack. Spin the ball with your wind and create a beautiful dance of your wings."

With a confident flick, Kristina tossed a small red ball into the air. Rosemary took flight, her wings fluttering as she summoned a gust of wind. The breeze lifted the ball, and Rosemary began to twirl around it, her wings creating a mesmerizing swirl of pink and green. However, the young Pokémon's enthusiasm got the better of her. Flapping her wings to vigorously, Rosemary soon lost her rhythm. Her eyes struggled to keep up with the spinning ball, and with a small cry she tumbled to the ground dizzy and disoriented.

Kristina rushed to her over, gently picking up her Pokémon. "It's okay, Rosemary. Let's try again. We can do this."

Determined Kristina called for another Gust, tossing the ball into the air once more. Rosemary took flight, but the same result followed. She flapped her wings to fast and ended up dizzy, falling to the ground again. Kristina, Timothy, Dexter, Mina, and Nala all took cover from the wayward ball.

"Don't worry, Rosemary," Kristina encouraged, her voice unwavering. "We'll get it right."

"I suggest we take a lunch break," Dexter commented stroking Nala's head.

Meanwhile, somewhere in a clearing deeper in the Twisted Forest, a small white and pink poodle Pokémon was lying on the ground out of sheer exhaustion and hunger. This Pokémon was known as Pudlapuff, and was desperately searching for food. Miraculously, it found a large pile of delicious looking berries. Driven by hunger, the Pokémon quickly grabbed a mouthful of berries and ran off.

Soon, a group of Skorupi, and a lone Spinarak, lead by a sleek, segmented body covered in glossy, chitinous shell. It's coloration is blend of deep emerald and gold, with intricate, nature inspired patterns etched across its back. It's legs are thin yet sturdy, ending in sharp, hooked claws. It's eyes are multifaceted, resembling those of an insect, and antennae sprout from its head. This Pokémon was known as Scarabeon, as they returned to their pile only to find some berries missing filling frustration among the group especially the leader.

"Scarabeon!" Scarabeon cried out looking back at the younger Pokémon it was protecting and caring for a leading as it signal for them to come as they hunt for the culprit who has stolen there berries as it follow the trail of paw prints.

The lone Pudlapuff was seen taking the berries into a den were a weakened Leafeon lay with a sleeping Eevee resting against it's body.

"Pudlapuff!" The puppy cried out as it left some berries in front of Leafeon and Eevee before eating its own fill.

"Eev!" Eevee cried out happily wagging its tail as it saw the berries in front it as it eyes opened.

"Leaf," Leafeon said weakly glancing at the berries that was brought back by Pudlapuff.

Eevee nuzzled against Leafeon encouraging her to try eating her berries to gain her strength back.

Back in the meadow, Timothy, Dexter, and Kristina were happily gathered around eating bowls of soup that Timothy had made with there Pokémon gather nearby eating there fill of Pokémon food.

As Rosemary finished her food, she flew off into the tress ahead as she thought about how pouring her training went thinking of ways to improve not wanting to let Kristina down in there first Pokémon contest.

"Pikachu!" Mina cried out getting the three trainers attention.

Timothy glanced around seeing Rosemary was gone. "That odd Roethlisberger was just here," He said.

"Huh?" Kristina questioned.

"She must of flew off," Dexter said standing up.

"I suggest we take a look," Timothy commented as he gathered the empty dishes from his Pokémon who were done eating.

"Right," Kristina agreed as she finished her lunch ready to find her missing Pokémon partner.

Meanwhile, back at the den as Pudlapuff was chowing down on its berries, it heard a rustling sound in the bushes catching its attention along with Eevee and Leafeon who looked up.

"Pudlapuff!" It cried out as it walkout of the den to see the group of Skorupi, and a lone Spinarak that was being lead by Scarabeon.

"Scarabeon!" The Scarabeon cried out angrily see the berry juice on Pudlapuff face and knew this was the berry thief.

"Pudlapuff!" The poodle Pokemon growled as it attempted to defend itself and the den were it friends lived.

As Pudlapuff attempted to protect its friends it was soon unfortunately corned by the group of Pokémon. Leafeon struggling stood up walking towards the entrance of the den to protect Pudlapuff only to collapse a few feet from the exit in her weakened state.

"Eevee!" Eevee cried out worriedly seeing Pudlapuff was in danger and Leafeon unable to battle to save Pudlapuff.

However just as Pudlapuff was about to be attacked, Rosemary appeared as rapidly her wings creating a cyclone of leaves from the trees swirling around the bug and poison types sending them scattering across the field and knocked out saving Pudlapuff. It was a contest winning appeal of Gust.

At that moment, Kristina, Timothy, Mina, Dexter, and Nala appeared with wide eyes at Rosemary's move.

"Wow Rosemary! That was amazing!" Kristina exclaimed, her eyes shining with pride.

"Through what Pokémon are those two," Dexter commented looking at Pudlapuff and the Scarabeon that was passed out.

"Let's see," Timothy said taking out his Pokedex and scanning the Pudlapuff first.

[Pudlapuff, the puppy Pokémon. A fairy type. Pudlapuff is a small, puppy Pokémon with curly white coat that feels soft as a cloud. This Pokémon has a playful nature and is known to lift the spirits of those around it with its cheerful demeanor and is a great company for those in need of emotional support and ready to always protect its trainer.] The Pokedex said.

"A fairy type definitely was in a bad match against so many poison types," Dexter commented.

"True now let's see what the other one is," Kristina commented.

Timothy nodded as he checked out the other Pokémon with his Pokedex.

[Scarabeon, the Chrysalis Pokémon. A bug type. This is a newly discovered evolution of Eevee that is obtained by using a Chrysalis band on Eevee during the night. It is known for its protective chrysalis like shell, which it uses to ward off predators. Scarabeon body is covered in intricate patterns that blend seamlessly with its surroundings, making it a master of camouflage. During battles, it can recreate a sticky web to immobilize its foes and then strike with precision.]

"That an evolution of Eevee?" Dexter questioned.

"It seems so," Timothy said putting away his Pokedex as he suddenly hears a weakened cry.

Timothy turns to see a extremely weakened Leafeon with a Eevee pawing at it to get up with worry in its eyes. Timothy runs over with Mina as he examine Leafeon to see it been badly poisoned and was running a fever.

"It's been poison quite badly," He said as he nodded at Mina to grab some medication from his bag.

"Pikachu!" Mina cried out heading Timothy the antidote as he spray it on Leafeon who began to regain strength.

"Leafeon!" Leafeon cried out as she started getting up from the ground.

"Pudlapuff! Eevee!" Pudlapuff and Eevee cried out happily.

"Awesome job Tim didn't know you had medical skills, " Dexter said.

"Yeah my mother taught me," Timothy replied as he stood up.

"Eevee!" Eevee cried as she jumped into Timothy's chest and arms nearly knocking him back down.

"What going?" Timothy asked confused.

"Pika!"

"I believe that she wants to come with you," Kristina stated.

"Really you want to come with me?" Timothy asked looking at Eevee.

Eevee happily nodded pointing a paw at the Pokeballs on Timothy's belt.

"Alright then Eevee welcome to the team," Timothy said tapping a Pokeball on Eevee's forehead capturing himself a new Pokémon.

As they were getting ready to leave Leafeon cried out goodbye to her child while Pudlapuff looked sadly at its friend leaving them with an new trainer. Now with a new Pokémon in hand for Timothy and Rosemary successfully pulling off Gust, Kristina and Rosemary and look forward to their success in the upcoming Pokémon Contest in Moonfall City with newfound confidence as they continued their way out of the Twisted Forest unaware of an certain Pudlapuff following them.

Timothy, Kristina, Mina, and Dexter stop in the middle of the Twisted Forest as Rosemary and Kristina work on training for the Pokemon contest, when things go wrong Rosemary wanders off and encounters an Pudlapuff in trouble and pulls off a successful Gust to save it from a group of anger Pokémon.
