Lore Notes
Timeline
With MHA show coming to an end, I will be lengthening the series in this fic to take place over 4 years instead of like 1 (which it currently is, correct me if I am wrong). That way there is a realistic timeframe for relationships to form. It is something I am doing with another MHA fic, so it is possible to do.
There will also be 4 school years in this instead of 3.
The school year will be Sept – June instead of April – March. (So that season 3 lines up nicely with summer)
So seasons 1 and 2 will be Year 1
Season 3 (the camp and hideout raid) will cover the summer between years 1 and 2
The rest of Season 3, Seasons 4 and 5 (up to the end of the Endeavour agency arc) will be Year 2
The rest of Season 5, plus Season 6 will be Year 3
Season 7 will be year 4
Then season 8 (which I have read will be the final season) will be year 4 or post-graduation.
- If plots and stuff don't line up, I have currently only watched to the end of Season 3 so if there is something in 4-7 that means that this layout won't work, then let me know and I will make a note to adapt those things as I go.
Cyberpunk 2077 will take place after the events of MHA, so their school years will be 2071-2075 and then there is 17 months before the events of CP2077
Additional Note: To fill in the time, especially in year one (s1 & 2), I am open to adding in other events, so ideas welcome on anything you would like to see for the class especially in regards to Night City.
Class 1-A Timetable
A few added classes to work with Cyberpunk and with this being a college setting instead.
Mineta
As of writing this, I think Mineta has been taken out of the majority of my stories. I am open to doing that in this too as he is probably my least favourite character and I just don't see the need for a character like him.
Megabuilding UA
Location: Kabuki Roundabout, Kabuki, Watson, Night City
Characteristics: The UA Megabuilding is a building owned by the UA College to house its students. Despite being classed as a Megabuilding, this one is smaller than the other Megabuildings in Night City but a lot more secure.
This building features 1,420 student apartments across 204 floors. However there are 250 floors within the building
There are 10 apartments per level and the levels are clustered together relating to classes. For example, Vivi's apartment is HCA-1-19. This translates as Hero Course, Class A, year 1, apartment 19. Whereas, Shinzo is assigned GSC-1-5, translating as General Studies, Class C, year 1, apartment 5.
Hero Course Class 1-A, is assigned three floors which are clustered together with 1 elevator access point on floor 3. This layout is the same for 1-B. Classes C - K have 5 floors assigned to each class with the elevator located on floor 3.
All apartments have installed wall-mounted vending machines that provide snacks. Mediacorps have made sure that each apartment has direct cable access to TV, radio and sensory feed. At the beginning of the year, students can choose from 6 designs for their apartments and put in any request for special items that may be needed. There is a couch, built-in wardrobe, desk with computer, shelving, and a bathroom.
Aside from residential housing, there are also a number of centralised hubs that provide different services such as basic food stores, UA supply stores, and quirk gyms. They also offer security by means of rented pro-heroes and rented corporate cops. These hubs tend to be located close to the elevator access.
Given it's close location to Kabuki Roundabout, the area is considered a UA student hub in itself and as such a lot of the stores there cater for young adults. Notable stores include:
Buck-A-Slice (Street Food Stall)
Edge Net (Netrunner Store)
Straight Shooters (Weapon Store)
Bucks' Clinic (Ripperdoc Clinic)
Bunraku Street Food (Street Food Stall)
Dr. Chrome (Ripperdoc Clinic)
Motel Kabuki
Theo's Threads (Clothing Store)
'Buki Merch (Pro-Hero Merch Store)
Tatooine (Tattoo and Piercing Parlor)
Cafe Nova (Cafe)
Pub Ultra (Students' Bar)
Snappy Snips (Barbers)
Four Seasons (Beauty Salon; including hair and nail salon)
There are ten levels of sub-level parking garages under the Megabuilding for students, with around 10 car parking spaces and 5 motorbike parking spaces per level, meaning there are 150 parking spaces for 1,420 students. However, there is street parking available for a few spaces. With the metro link, not every student has a vehicle as there is no real need with Kabuki Roundabout close enough to walk for shopping. Vehicles are seen more common among the hero course and the support courses.
There is also one floor that has optional faculty living quarters with ten apartments currently only Present Mic, Thirteen and Midnight live in, however Aizawa will move in once Vivi starts at UA.
There is also a UA specific Metro line that runs from Megabuilding UA to the main campus, access is restricted to students and teachers through scanners (Student keycards are used as metro passes)
Given how close the Megabuilding is, Lizzie's bar and The Ho-Oh are also frequented by UA students though they do have a UA specific bar within the Roundabout.
- Access to Megabuilding UA
UA students are granted keycards upon moving in, these keycards have chips installed in them which are registered to the individual student. These keycards also allow access to their floors and apartments and are used as their metro passes.
Each student must scan their keycard when entering the Megabuilding, because of this, there are three entry doors plus two in the garage. Keycards must also be scanned to get into the garage through an electrical panel in front of a shutter system.
Megabuilding H10 Tour:
- The below video is a virtual tour of Megabuilding H10 in the Cyberpunk game, whilst the UA building will not be exactly the same, it does give an idea on layout.

1-A Vehicles:
I currently see 8 students having vehicles in 1-A, but if you guys think any of the others would, then let me know.
- I am not going to attach videos to all the cars, just Vivi's and Bakugo's. You can find information about each vehicle through the Cyberpunk wiki page or on Youtube.
Bakugo: Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X
https://youtu.be/YJbQ0S39rTc
Yaoyorozu: Quadra Type 66 Avenger
Todoroki: Quadra Type 66 640 TS
Vivi: Thorton Galena GA40XT nicknamed the Rattler

Uraraka: Thornton Galena G240
Ida: Arch Nazare Racer
Mina: Archer Quartz Ec-L r275 (Coloured in Pink)
Shoji: Thornton Mackinaw Larimore
1-A Implants (+ All Might):
As implants are expensive, not everyone in 1-A is going to have them. I have two students that would definitely be able to afford them and would likely use them, plus All Might to correct his injuries at the hands of All-For-One.
However all students will be required to have Internal Agent and Chyron implants which are used for holo-calls and text messages in the same way they are in the game. All students are also required to have BD Wreaths and some do have radioports such as Bakugo and Vivi. They are also required to have translation software installed in their Internal Agent.
All students also must have two sockets behind their ears for educational shards. In their third year, more can be added, as well as the option for interface plugs.
Note: Due to the nature of his quirk, Aizawa does not have the internal agent or chyron implants, and still uses a traditional phone.
Tenya Ida
Reinforced Tendons: This would protect his legs from any backlash or reverberation from his engine quirk. I'd assume that Tensei would have something similar in his arms and likely his shoulders as well.
Momo Yaoyorozu
RAM Upgrade
Memory Boost
- I feel like she would use chrome to upgrade her brain to help with her learning, remembering, and recalling what she needs to know to use her quirk effectively.
All Might
Syn-Lungs
Syn-Stomach
Radio Stations:
I will be adding one station to the roster from Cyberpunk, which will be a pro-hero podcast (Pro-Cast) station hosted by Present Mic, of course.
I only have Vivi and Bakugo's choice of radio stations figured out right now, but ideas on the others. This is more for a general trivia thing to submerge the class into Night City a bit more and not an important aspect.
Note: Both Vivi and Bakugo are fans of Samurai
Vivi: The Dirge, Body Heat, Growl FM and Morro Rock
Bakugo: Radio Vexelstorm, Morro Rock, Growl FM and Ritual FM. (You cannot tell me that Bakugo is anything but a rock/heavy metal listener)
Midoriya: Pro-Cast
1-A Home locations
I didn't want to have all of the class of 1-A coming from Night City as UA is supposed to be a national school, so I have only a handful of those that did.
Tenya Ida: Charter Hill
Shoto Todoroki: Corporate Plaza
Kyoko Jiro: The Glen
Katsuki Bakugo & Izuku Midoriya: Wellsprings
Vivi Yagi: Japantown (She and Aizawa live in the Japantown apartment that could be V's in the game; the only layout difference is that the armory is Vivi's bedroom; see the video below for a tour vid)
https://youtu.be/gkwn10pkyL4
Momo Yaoyorozu: North Oak
Other Locations:
During the first two seasons there are a number of outside locations that will need to change to fit with Night City.
- I will add a comment link to a really good Night City map so you can get a good idea of the layout.
Gran Torino's Home: Rancho Coronado
Hosu City: Downtown
Villain's Bar: Coast View or Dogtown (This one I am currently undecided on, but I don't think specifying it is important until season 3)
All-For-One Hideout: Laguna Bend
UA College: Furthest Nort Western edge of the map
- You can also see Megabuilding UA marked on the map in Kabuki as well
Career Paths:
So because of the Cyberpunk 2077 aspects, there are a few changes I would make to the Pro-Hero career path and UA.
There is at least one pro-hero that I feel would actually be more suited to being classes as a mercenary instead. Eraser Head. Because he works on his own, because he works in the shadows.
Because of this, I feel like the Hero Course has more career paths upon graduating:
- Pro-Hero; with paths into Offensive, Support, Rescue, and Trauma specializations.
- Hero-Merc; with paths into Techie, Solo, Netrunner, Fixer, and Medtech.
There are also two licenses, one for Pro-Heroes and one for Hero-Mercs, however, Hero-Mercs need both licenses to operate. And if they become Fixers as a specialization, then a third license is then needed. Some Hero-Mercs argue that it is a little overkill considering Pro-Heroes only require one license. But this is because Hero-Mercs aren't as restricted or regulated by the government because they are not paid by the government, their pay comes from those that hire them.
There are two types of mercs, Hero-Mercs and general mercenaries. Hero-Mercs are more specialized towards heroic gigs and considered the more morally right mercenaries.
Trauma Team:
Having Trauma Team insurance is a big thing in Cyberpunk 2077, so I will have to work that into MHA.
Pro-Hero agencies have standing contracts with Trauma Team to attend their 'fights', and any civilian caught in the crosshairs is seen to by Trauma Team. However, that does not mean that that civilian has coverage for anything else, say if they were to leave the scene and then get hit by a car. They only have coverage when they are in the immediate vicinity of a Pro-Hero with a standing contract.
Hero-Merc's do not have standing contracts, due to them not being part of an agency and likely don't have the funds to arrange it.
