Julie woke up in as small room, with her legs chained to the small bed. A cup of water had been placed beside her bed along with a small piece of bread. The man from the balcony came in munching on an apple.
"What do want with me, why are you doing this?" she cried out.
"All I do is take orders and get my money darling."
"If it's money, I will pay you to release me. Just let me go, I won't tell the police, I promise."
"That's your food right there, eat up to save your strength you are going to need it. I don't know when I will be back, so don't eat it all at once," he laughed walking out. "Oh, and use this bucket," he said kicking a bucket labelled toilet on it.

Studying her surroundings Julie saw there was no chance of escape, she was in some sort of basement room. The room was very cold so she folded herself into a foetal position to keep herself warm, somehow. By the third day, dehydration was kicking in as she no longer had any food or water. She prayed for someone to come to her rescue, but no one came for her. Crying she saw Ricky lying beside her, "Ricky please hold me, I'm cold she mumbled crying."
"Shhhh, baby it's ok. I am here for you. You will be alright," he whispered to her.
This is what she heard before falling asleep, no longer caring about trying to count the days. If this was how she was to die, all she wanted was to hear Ricardo's voice one last time.

With Jason's help they had managed to access the CCTV cameras around the venue, and they were able to eliminate all the guests until they saw a man go onto the balcony which Julie had gone to. Greg quickly received information on the man from his colleagues. The man was a hired mercenary who was well known for his ability to do freelance contracts and his name was Dominic. Anita never left Greg's side and one evening brought up a matter that had her worried.

"Sweetheart, can we talk for a minute."
"Come here," Greg said making space for her on the couch. She settled beside him lay her head on his shoulder.
"Baby, I have a bad feeling about Jason. He is still not Ricardo's friend, but is very enthusiastic about helping us, why is that. I don't think it's a change of heart. He always has this smirk when we are talking about tracking down this mercenary, Dominic."
"Here is what I will do sweetheart, I will ask Phil to run a background check on Jason, just for you. I don't want you worrying over anything, not in this condition especially now. You know the baby's due date is very close by, try to relax darling."
"Alright. Thank you baby."

That evening Anita prepared dinner for everyone, and begged Jason to stay over, just to get to know each other well and further discuss their plan of action concerning Dominic. They had a light conversation as they had their meal.

Jason's POV

The sight of Ricardo broken and numb made me exceptionally happy, as I enjoyed my meal. He looks very pathetic, it gave me so much joy. Very soon his company will begin to crumble and I will rise to the top, finally. The golden boy will fall.

Anita excused herself to fetch the desert and so did Greg after offering to help her, but it wasn't long before Ricardo and Jason heard a crash and shouting.
"I can't take this anymore I told you to bring her back, but what have you done so far. Nothing! We are here enjoying a meal whilst she is out there, God knows doing what, all alone and scared. I hate you for this Greg, you said your men were the best, but how could they lose just one person. Don't you dare lay your hands on me, I cannot stand the sight of you, let alone touching me. How do you expect me to be happy at a time like this!" she shouted at him.
"You will not go anywhere with my child, I forbid you!" his voice boomed.
"Forbid! You have no such power over me Gregory Kingston, I will leave if I see it fit for my baby and me."
"You will not do such a thing," he said angrily as he followed her out of the kitchen.

Anita passed Ricardo and Jason heading to the bathroom. Ricardo stopped Greg from going after her.
"Give her time to cool off, you don't want her getting more upset in her condition, do you?"
Jason excused himself saying he had to make an important call. Jason walked out onto the balcony and pressed his speed dial. Anita left the bathroom and slowly followed Jason.

"Hello Dominic, how is the package. Have you sent the next message."?
"She is alive, it should be arriving at their house any moment."
"Good. Sit tight and await further instructions," he said walking back inside not noticing Anita, in the dark.
"I should get going gentlemen. I hope you patch up things with Anita, Greg, she is a lovely woman," he said with a smirk on his face.

It wasn't long before they received a package from one of the bellboys. Ricardo saw it was a DVD and quickly popped it into his player, as he called both Greg and Anita. He was shocked to see them walking in holding hands as if nothing had happened before. "Wait, what is going on here guys," he asked in confusion.
"First play the disk, we will explain afterwards," Anita told him.
Once the video started playing, it showed Julie lying on a small bed as she was crying. Ricardo gripped the remote control so tight that his knuckles became white, out of anger.
"Julie," he whispered.
"Please turn it off," Anita said burying her face into Greg's' chest.
They proceeded to tell Ricardo about Jason's call. Greg told Ricardo to calm down, as he picked his keys to follow Jason. "I had my man trace the call he made, and they just picked Jason up. He is on his way back up."
Just as he finished speaking Phil and Jack came back in with Jason. Shoving him onto a chair, Phil left the room, leaving Jason with Greg, Anita, Ricardo and Jack.

"Jason, to make life easier for you, just tell us were Julie is?" Greg said in a silky tone.

Jason laughed out loud, at Greg's words. Anita walked up to him and punched him straight in his nose, which quickly shut him up as he moaned in pain. Greg stood shocked at his wife's action, she wasn't the violent type of woman, he couldn't help being turned on by this. He took a hold of her hand, examining it to make sure she was fine as he gently kissed her hand then her forehead.

Turning to look at Ricardo who had a murderous expression he spat, "I should have killed you when I took care of your parents. Then I wouldn't have this trouble."
On hearing this Ricardo lost it and pounced on Jason, throwing punch after punch he snarled, "How could you kill my parents? What did they ever do to you? What did I ever do to you? What wrong has Juliet of all people done to you?"
With the help of Jack they managed to pull Ricardo off Jason. His face was a mess from Ricardo's assault. Spitting some blood out of his mouth he just smiled.

"This is taking too long," Anita said as she left the men for a few seconds.
Coming back into the room she headed straight to Jason before anyone could say anything to her she had placed one of her surgical blades just beneath his jugular vein.
"Now listen to me very closely," she said in a smooth tone. "The boys here could beat you to pulp for all I care, but I don't have the energy for such. One cut with this blade and your blood will be the last thing you see alive," she told him in a no nonsense tone.

Greg was afraid of what he saw. His wife was always the sweet angel, but right now he didn't recognize her.

"Alright I'll talk! He shouted. "Throughout school it was always you, all the girls wanted you but you never cared. The perfect guy, born with a silver spoon in his mouth. I had to work hard to build my empire but you, you had it all. I thought taking your parents away would break you, but no you seemed to thrive even better. Always lucky to escape all my attempts at killing you, then I found your one weakness, the delightful doctor. When you brought her here and kept her close to you it all made sense. You looked pathetic when I took her from you, and if it wasn't for your friends your empire would have crumbled just the way I planned it. You might as well kill me because I am not going to tell you were she is."

Phil came in and whispered something into Greg's ear.
"Thank you for the confession Mr Haze," he said waving a small recorder in his hands. "As for finding Dominic, don't worry yourself about that.
Just then the commissioner of police came into the room.
"Mr Kingston, it's great to see you again," he said greeting Greg. "Mr Andrews, he said giving a slight nod in his direction."
"Here is all the proof you will need, on the matter we spoke of a few minutes ago," he said handing over the recorder.
The commissioner signalled his men to take Jason away.
Greg saw they out, and he told the commissioner to greet his wife and children on his behalf.

"Sir we should get going," Phil said after Jason and the officers left.
" Come on guys let's get going," as he told them.
They left and headed to an abandoned warehouse outside the city. Phil and Jack managed to subdue Dominic once they arrived whilst the rest of their team searched the grounds.
"We found her!" one of Ricardo's men shouted.
Ricardo ran towards the room and what he saw made him weak to his very core.
