Ricardo froze when he heard what she said and upon opening his eyes he saw that she was looking at him with a smile on her face. She tried to sit up but a wave of dizziness caught her and she decided to remain lying down.
"Please tell me I am not dreaming, do you really love me Julie?"
"Yes, I love you Mr Andrews," she murmured falling asleep once again.
He was beyond ecstatic, his wife loved him, and he her. He left her sleeping peacefully and went to find Jack and Phil.

"Jack and Phil, did your men find Carmen," he asked in an icy tone.
"Yes sir, but we could not stop her, she has left the country for France."
"Good, she had better stay away, because if I ever lay eyes on her, I will be the last thing she sees alive.
"Oh don't worry about her Ricardo, her career as a model is already done,"Greg said softly.
The way Greg said that, made Ricardo very nervous as he looked at Greg with a frown on his face.
"Oh don't worry, we don't get our hands that dirty, let's just say, we can have anyone blacklisted, and if anyone associates with a blacklist member, their career also comes to an end.

Ricardo stayed by her side all night, even when Greg told him to rest in his room, he refused. The following morning Juliet woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs.
"Come on baby, it's time for your breakfast," Ricardo said kissing her on her cheek and placed the tray beside her.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm feeding my wife, that's all."
"I can feed myself thank you very much she said reaching for the tray. This is one honeymoon I will never forget," she chuckled.
Looking up she saw a pained expression on Ricardo's face which he tried to mask with a smile.
"Baby, I'm sorry if what I said upset you, she said looking down at her hands.
"Hey, hey it's nothing," he said turning her face towards him by her chin. "I will make it up to you with a proper honeymoon once the dust has settled sweetheart."
All Juliet could do was nod in reply.

"Good morning Julie, how are you feeling this morning," Anita greeted her as she walked into the room with Greg closely behind.
"I am much better, the pain medication is doing a marvelous job. Don't worry, I know, I have to take it easy, no serious activity until my stitches are good, so this is basically my vacation."
"Well you are in good hands so I don't need to worry. We have to leave this morning, Greg has to get back to work, but we will be back soon, I have a charity event coming up and both you are invited," Anita said giving her friend a gentle hug and Greg followed suit.
She bid her friends goodbye and watched as they left.

"Don't you also have work Mr Andrews?"
"Well Mrs Andrews, I do have work, but who will watch over you if I go to the office," he asked with a raised eyebrow.
"You need to go to work, you can't leave your business for too long."
"Ok here is what we will do, we will move closer to my office, I don't want to be far away from you in case something happens."
"Won't that be expensive Ricardo?" she said with a frown on her face.
"Nothing is too expensive when it come to having you near me angel."

Juliet sighed and dropped the subject knowing how stubborn her husband could get, to get his way. Two days later they had moved to the penthouse suite of  the Hotel Majestic, which was a walking distance to Andrews Tech. Ricardo took her to his office, and showed her around informing Becky, his secretary that Juliet was his wife and had to be let into his office no matter what meeting he was having. Becky was glad her boss finally had a decent woman beside him, and one with brains for that. She despised the likes of Carmen who always talked down to her.

"I now know we're you work, can we go now, I am totally famished. Her stomach growled to confirm her claim. They left his office and went home. Ricardo's house keeper Mary had already prepared lunch for them. They ate whilst in comfortable silence, before Ricardo left for his office. Jack and Phil stayed behind with Julie whilst the others left with Ricardo. Greg had insisted on leaving some of his men behind to add to their protective detail.

She spent the afternoon, watching her favorite tv shows, the good wife, devious maids, the vampire diaries and of course the originals. She didn't hear Ricardo walk in and sit beside her as she was watching The Fixer.
"Good evening baby," he said kissing her temple.
"Good evening sweetheart, how was your day?"
"Tiring and boring without you to keep me company. Yours?
"Mary kept me company and so did the recorded shows you have. We have the same taste in tv shows I see."
"I never get time to watch them though, but I will try to watch one of them with you one of these days."
Ricardo left her to freshen up, and prepare for dinner. This became their routine, with Ricardo being stuck in the office most of the time. Juliet understood this, as he had been away for quite some time, due to his injury. Her wounds were healing exceptionally well as she now longer felt any pain. Days turned to weeks as they enjoyed each other's company.

Having known each other for four months from the accident Julie was very happy with Ricardo. Anita was going into her third trimester and she couldn't wait to see her niece or nephew three months down the line. Thinking of her friends she called them up. They had been gone for three weeks now so they had a lot of catching up to do.

Ricardo went on to inform her that they had to attend a company dinner dance. Juliet was more than happy to be out of the house for once.

She wore a long strapless black dress, paired with diamond studded black heels as well as a small clutch to hold her basic necessities.

Ricardo was wearing a black tux as he took her hand in his.
"You look breathtaking as always my love," he said as they walked out of their apartment.
"Thank you, so do you sweetheart."

They arrived at The Ambassadors Hotel, and were bombarded by paparazzi. Their security team quickly shielded them as they entered the building. Juliet promptly excused herself to  the ladies, as she needed to calm her nerves. Ricardo told her he would wait for her by the bar. Phil made a move to follow her but Juliet told him she would be alright.

As she left the ladies she bumped into a tall blonde man who introduced himself as Paul. Immediately sensing something off about him, she continued on my way to the bar.
"So would you like to be my date Miss," he slurred with a lopsided grin.
That's when she noticed his bloodshot eyes, and knew he was completely drunk, which was shocking since the party had only started a few minutes ago.
"Sorry I already have someone accompanying me," she told him as she kept walking away from him.

"Hey, wait up, don't just walk away from me," he said grabbing ahold of her arm. "Your date is a lucky man indeed," Paul said as his eyes travelled up and down my body, making her uncomfortable.
"Please let go of my arm, you are hurting me!"
"Oh come on sweet thing, I just want to talk to you, that's all. Besides I am much...."

Ricardo was by her side before he could finish his sentence, pulling her out of Paul's grasp, wrapping his arm around her waist in a way that clearly stated mine as he looked at her to see if she was alright. Jack and Phil stood behind Paul.

On seeing the red marks on her arm, he quickly pulled her behind him, but not letting go of her hand. Paul had a nervous expression written all over his face, as Ricardo stared at him long and hard. Paul was the first one to speak.
"Good evening sir. I was just getting to... to know your... your girlfriend, thats all," he said as he shuffled from one foot to another.
"The lady you refer to as my girlfriend is in fact my wife. And you just hurt her," Ricardo said in a low threatening tone. "Don't you ever dare touch what is mine, ever," he said as Paul lost all colour in his face.

Sensing him become more tense, she knew he would lose the last control of his temper at any moment. Not wanting to cause a scene Juliet gently tugged on his hand to get his attention.
"Can we go enjoy the function baby! I'm sure he meant no harm he is drunk after all.
Looking down at her he gave her a warm smile and a small nod, as she pulled him away leaving Paul behind.

"Thank you for saving me back there."
"Anytime baby, Paul is known as a womanizer, when I saw him with you I knew there was trouble," he said as he examined her hand with a scowl on his face.
"Don't worry, it's just a slight bruise. Now can we forget about what happened and enjoy our evening."

They enjoyed the rest of their evening as she met more of the company employees.
