Everything was surprisingly peaceful at the camp. Allan and Guy were over the pan that was being heated, the tips of arrows sticking inside the bowl. Allan seemed to be heating up a sword, staring at it thoughtfully.

Robin came running in with two sacks full of coins. "All of this needs to be made into arrowheads," Robin commanded.

Much moved the blinds, looking out of the window. "Robin."

"We're running out of time." Robin set the sacks down.

"Robin!"

"Where's Tuck and John and Linda with those tools?"

"She's gone. Kate."

Robin groaned, grabbing his stuff. Much frowned and glanced at Allan. "You say something?" he demanded, pushing past him and going out the door.

"Why is it always my fault?" Allan retorted, both hands in the air.

Much sounded panicked, and his voice went up an octave. "We got to find her."

"Much, Kate can look after herself," Robin said, annoyed to say the least. "She's got a family to protect. We've got a castle to take."

"I know."

"ALLAN A DALE, WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?"

"You're fiancée's back," Allan said with a snicker to Guy. "Welcome home, Li—"

Allan was cut off when Linda's fist came colliding with his jaw, grabbing his collar and shaking him back and forth. "You traitor!" she screeched. "What did you tell them? Judas!" She grabbed his throat and literally started strangling him.

Tuck and John came running in. "It's all over Nottingham," Tuck said, trying to catch his breath. "Allan's been pardoned by the Sheriff for services rendered."

"What?!"

"Linda, let him go," Robin ordered coolly.

"Let me speak!" Allan exclaimed, his face red as he felt the air get cut off.

"Right, because you're so good at that." Linda scoffed. "I can't believe I ever trusted you. You sorry, poor excuse of a man." Her eyes widened. "You betrayed us, and my sister! Because of you, my sister is going to die!" She started banging him against the wall, making Allan's head start bobbing back and forth. "You're a liar, you stupid son of a—"

"Linda! Linda, come on!" Tuck literally had to peel Linda off of Allan because Guy was in the corner smirking. He found this amusing.

"You traitor!"

Allan collapsed to his knees, rubbing his throat and coughing. "Gosh, Guy, you're fiancée's got a killer grip."

Robin hauled him up by the arm. "You alright?"

"Yeah." Allan brushed himself off, looking at his friends. His voice went up an octave and it started to waiver. "I haven't done anything. I swear! I haven't betrayed you!" Allan looked to Much for help. "Much."

Much only stayed silent, unsure of what to do. Allan sighed and rolled his eyes, panicking. "You believe me, Guy."

John started to charge, but Tuck pushed him back by the chest. Guy made a look, nodding and shaking his head and then pursing his lips.

(aka the picture on the side of guy being adorable)

Allan ran a palm down his face, stepping forward. "Tuck."

He only looked at Robin, who was staring at the sky.

Allan let out a few breaths, about to lose it. "Linda, please."

She couldn't bring herself to believe him, though. As much as she wanted to, she couldn't. So she turned around, leaning on the entrance while trying to keep her emotions in check.

"Allan, I can't," she whispered. "You betrayed us, and possibly my sister who's at the castle right now."

Allan stared at her back in shock. Their friendship was now a grain of salt all because of a lie. "Robin." Allan's voice broke. This couldn't be happening.

Robin slowly brought his head down to look at him, eyebrows furrowed.

"So you think I'm a coward?" Allan demanded. "Is that it, yeah? What, that I've... sold you out to save myself somehow, yeah?"

Much sighed, throwing his hands in the air. "You've done that before," he pointed out.

"I know. And everyday I wish I could take it back. You know that!" Allan shot back, his voice rising.

Everyone still stayed silent, a few eyes looking at Robin. Allan couldn't describe the hurt he was feeling, and he shook his head.

"None of you?" he asked in shock. "None of you believe me?"

Silence.

"I'll be off, then." Allan moved to grab his belt from the shelf.

"No," Much suddenly said. "You tell her about the tunnel?"

"I told you, I haven't said—"

Robin groaned. "Tie him up!"

"What?!" Allan exclaimed, panicking as John approached him with a rope and bonded his arms together around a pole. "No, no, no, no."

"I can't take the risk," Robin explained.

"Robin."

"Once we've secured the castle, we will come back and we will sort this out," Robin promised, pointing an accusing finger at Allan.

John was still tying him up, ignoring Allan's pleads to stop and believe him on this one. Robin told John to keep going, which John gladly did.

But Linda couldn't take it.

She ran out of the camp, not looking back. Noticing this, Guy panicked and also left the camp, telling the others that he would be back soon. He ran after her, trying to follow her fresh tracks. Though, it was a little hard to do that when the rain was still coming down and thunder was rumbling overhead. When he finally did find her, though, he breathed a sigh of relief. Linda was at the small valley where she liked to go to think, and where she almost took Robin's eye out.

He made the mistake of stepping on a twig, resulting with her dagger embedding itself deeply in the tree next to him, almost cutting off his nose. He looked to the dagger to her in shock, but his shock soon dissolved into worry.

Her eyes were shining with tears, her hair soaked with rain and her cheeks were red. Every breath she took came out as a puff of smoke, and it came in heavy and labored. Guy didn't hesitate to take three or four strides over to hold her in his arms, hers coming around his middle and her head on his shoulder as she cried softly. Guy honestly didn't know how to comfort her, so he just held her like that, humming softly and stroking her hair, kissing her temple every once and awhile while telling her everything was going to be alright, letting her sink to her knees when her legs gave away.

And he held her like that until he was needed again, because right now she needed him as much as he needed her.

*****

After a few hours of crying and just sitting there on grass wrapped up in each other's arms, the sun finally decided to show. Guy and Linda walked through the forest with their fingers intertwined in silence. For once, the silence was peaceful... in a sad, confusing kind of way. Robin and the others were also walking in the middle of the forest, so the pair decided to join them.

"We get into the castle, we capture Isabella, we release the villagers," Robin said, gathering his friends into a circle. "If the convoy leaves, then we've failed. Tuck, John, Linda, it's up to you to stop it, no matter what."

Linda panicked when she heard that Guy wouldn't be coming with her. "And you three?" she asked Robin, glancing at Guy and Much.

Silence. Linda sighed, closing her eyes and resting her head on Guy's shoulder.

"This could be the last time we ever see each other," Robin said quietly.

He hugged John, and Guy moved back, raising his eyebrows and rolling his eyes. Much shook Tuck's hand, nodding in approval and luck. Linda slowly faced Guy, who faced her. They stared at each other for a few moments, the others taking it as their cue to leave. It was just them.

"We're going to see each other again. You do know that," Linda said, her forehead leaning against his.

"I know," Guy whispered. "But if I die—"

"Shh." She took a shaky breath. "You aren't. You're not going to die. Not while I'm still alive." She sighed. "I just wish I could come with you."

"No, you need to stay with Tuck and John and stay safe," Guy said sternly. "Only then can I be reassured about your safety."

"Yeah? And what about you?" Linda demanded, raising her chin to frown and look him in the eye. "How am I supposed to be reassured about you when we're being separated again because of this god damn cause? How am I supposed to be okay when I don't know whether you're safe or not? This is a tunnel we're talking about, and—"

Guy took this chance to kiss her then, silencing her. Both hands cupped her cheeks while Linda let her hands hook onto his tunic, pulling him closer and deepening the kiss. Guy pulled away, kissing her temple.

"I love you so much," he whispered in her hair.

She nodded. "I know," she responded, taking another shaky breath. "Promise me that you're going to come back to me."

Guy nodded again, pressing his lips to hers again for a few seconds. "I promise."

Linda hugged him, squeezing the life out of his neck. Guy encircled his arms around her middle, nuzzling his head in the crook of her neck. Linda pulled away, slowly stepping back. Her fingers slipped out of his hands, and she turned away to follow John and Tuck at the top of the hill. Guy watched her leave, not moving until she was out of sight.

"I'll see you again, my love," he said quietly into the air, sighing and walking the opposite way to meet Much and Robin.

It was time.

*****

Turns out there was to be a convention in the middle of the forest. The men of Locksley were all chatting away, waiting for the three outlaws. Linda took a few deep breaths as if readying herself. She locked eyes with Edmund, and she tilted her head to the side.

Tim?

Edmund shook his head, and Linda breathed a sigh of relief. Tuck stood on a boulder, and everyone stopped talking. John and Linda shared a look, and she slowly shuffled to his side. Noticing that she was distressed, the big guy put a hand on her shoulder. She pat his hand in thanks, listening to Tuck.

"Those of you who can fight must help us intercept the supply train," Tuck announced, and the people murmured among each other. "Those are your crops inside that castle. Your livestock. Your brothers! Damn it, man, it's time to stand up and fight!" He jumped down the boulder and shook the nearest citizen by the shoulders. "Those are your resources!"

"Brother Tuck." John strolled down the hill and pulled Tuck down with him.

"They've been trodden on, John, and they're taking it!" Tuck shouted a little too excitedly. "If they would all stand together, they can defeat the Sheriff."

"Defeating the Sheriff is our job, Tuck!" John hissed. "Even if it is the last thing we ever do." John walked away to think for a moment, and Tuck groaned.

"Oh, god damn it," Linda muttered, and she stood on the boulder and cleared her throat loudly. All eyes turned to her.

"For once, Tuck's right," she started slowly, trying to find her courage. Tuck nodded in approval, and her confidence rose slightly. "Too long have we all been cowering in fear because of the Sheriff. And I'm not just talking about Isabella, I am also talking about Sheriff Vaisey, my cruel and corrupted father. I never had the guts to ever stand up to him, Marian was always the one to do that. But then I met my friends, and they gave me courage. They still do give me courage, even through these dark times. Even Guy of Gisborne, who's with Robin and Much."

Linda sighed. "I know that asking you to fight and die is a lot, trust me. But it's worth it. Think of your families, your friends, your neighbors, that old guy that lives right across the path. Think of what your doing, and do it for them. Do it for the people you love." Linda jumped down the boulder, walking down the path and looking at everyone. "I once told someone to not stand on the sidelines, and to make the tough decision and fight. After words, though, I told him to stay behind. I told him to be with his brother." She turned around, facing the people. "If you do not want to die and give your life and stay with your family instead, then stay here. But those of you who are willing enough to fight and stand by me and die together as brothers, then follow me!"

Everyone cheered, raising their fists. Linda grinned and turned around, expecting to see John and Tuck there.

But they weren't. They were at Nottingham without her.

*****

Guy led Much and Robin through the forest, trying to find the outside of the church and the grave. It didn't help when he had branched that decided to swing in his face every few seconds, and then Much muttering behind his back. But they finally made it, and Guy jogged to a huge cross filled with rocks on top of it.

"Robin," Guy called, sliding next to it. "This is it."

Grunting, the two men started to remove the rocks. Much just stood there, as if debating with himself. Robin shot him a look, and Much face palmed before removing the rocks from the grave.

"You shouldn't mess with graves," Much muttered.

Guy only smirked and kept digging. After a few minutes, all the rocks were removed, revealing a crate. Guy lifted it with a grunt, pushing the lid up. Stairs were what they found, and all three of them looked at it warily. Robin took a breath and started to carefully walk down. Much and Guy glanced at each other.

"Ladies first," Guy offered.

Much glared at Guy before following Robin. Guy snickered and soon jumped in behind behind Much, slowly and carefully closing the lid. They walked down the stairs, Guy with his sword out. Robin had a flaming torch, and Much looked creeped out behind them. They were in the castle, carefully strolling through the tunnel halls. Much ran his hands on the sides.

"We're under the castle," he whispered loudly, even more creeped out than before.

Robin rolled his eyes. "Much, keep moving. Come on!"

Guy smirked and shook his head, letting out a few amused breaths. Well, that was until he stepped on a preassure plate, and something shifted. Guy looked around, panicked.

"Oh, no!"

All three of them ran forward, for the gate door was closing. The three outlaws pounded on the door, grunting and trying to open it up. Guy growled and kicked the door, before shouting and running to the other side. The door closed, and Guy started cursing repeatedly and sheathed his sword. Swords were no more use, now.

They were trapped.

*****

Nottingham West Gate was absolutely deserted. Tuck and John walked the bridge, looking at the castle. They stopped a few feet away from the bridge and just stood there.

"Nearly time."

Johnl let out a few breaths and looked around. "It's quiet, isn't it?" he mused. "Calm. It's like when you're hunting. The moment you spot your prey, your stag, there's a... stillness. Just for a moment. You wonder whether you can go through with it, whether you can slaughter this beast with so much..." John trailed off, not being able to think of a right word.

"Dignity?" Tuck finished.

John nodded. "Yeah. Dignity."

Tuck smiled half-heartedly and put a hand on his shoulder, shaking it in comfort. Tuck glanced back for a moment before spinning around, then looking back again. His jaw dropped, and he made John turn around.

"Whoa."

The villagers were marching through the greenery, with pitchforks and torches. Half of them looked like teenagers, while the rest were men. The leader? None other than Linda, of course.

"They're brave, but they can't fight, Tuck," John said. "Look at them. It would be a massacre."

Tuck smirked and took out his large black cross, stepping forward. "They're not going to fight, John."

"What?"

The men and Linda approached the bridge, and Linda smirked. "I thought you would need some backup."

"Indeed," Tuck mused.

Linda chuckled and walked past him, slapping John in a friendly manner on the shoulder.

"Gentlemen," Tuck started. "These gates will open soon. Now, it is our task to stop the supply train in its tracks, and that is exactly what we are going to do. As an army, as a militia, we would be crushed. The Sheriff's men would hack us down like weeds." Tuck held up his cross, showing it to the people. "But it's harder to cut the spirit with a blade. When these gates open, and the supply train comes out, we are going to sit down."

John and Linda's jaws fell. "What?"

"Just sit," Tuck continued. "In silence. My friends, we are going to turn the other cheek."

John shook his head and went next to Tuck. "They will be — we will be crushed."

"Dignity, John. Dignity!" Tuck hissed to John before facing the people again. "Even when everything has been taken away from us, we still have that: dignity. And the Sheriff's men will be faced with a choice — stand aside, or carry out a massacre."

"These are the Sheriff's men, Tuck," John explained. "I think we know what choice they are going to make."

"They may be soldiers, John, but they are still men," Tuck responded loudly. "Just men. And faced with the power of truth, a man can change. If we all stand together, then we can have that power. We can be unstoppable."

John sighed and looked back. Linda nodded.

"Let's try."

*****

"I knew it'd be a trap!" Much shouted.

Robin shushed him, standing in the middle and looking up. "Let me think."

Much took letting him think as pacing like nuts. "So Allan's told her" He pointed an acusing finger at Guy. "Or him. I knew we shouldn't have trusted you!"

Much was all up in his face, and Guy grabbed him by the collar and shook him back and forth. "If I knew this was a trap, do you think I'd be stuck in here as well?" Guy demanded through gritted teeth, pushing Much back harshly.

"That's enough! The both of you!"

As soon as Robin shouted, there was a low rumble. Something fell on Much, and he started waving his arms around. The three moved back, watching as a certain substance came falling down heavily through the bars at the top.

"What is that?" Robin asked.

Guy stared at it. "Linda's going to kill me," he muttered, running a palm down his face. "Limestone."

Much started freaking out. "There's no way out."

Robin gave Much a look and started taking off his quiver and his bow. "There's always a way out, Much."

Much either didn't hear him, or he was ignoring Robin. "So this is how it ends. This is how we die, buried in limestone. Hardly fair, is it?"

"I think I'd rather be strangled by Linda," Guy said sarcastically.

"You don't get to joke!"

"Quit it!" Robin snapped, pointing at the trapdoor where the limestone was falling from. "If one of us can reach the top, we can hold out longer." He waved Much over. "Much, come here. Gisborne, get on our shoulders."

Guy shook his head. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's got to be you, Robin."

"You've got a fiancée who's waiting for you, Gisborne."

"And you've got her sibling who needs you."

"Wait, fiancée?" Much demanded. "Oh, good Lord, you're marrying Linda?"

Guy stayed silent. Much let out a breath and cleared his throat. "Congratulations."

Robin could see that there was no way out of the arguement. Besides, they were already knee deep in limestone... quite literally. Robin sighed and made Much and Guy huddle together. The two grunted from the amount of limestone being poured on them, and the fact that Robin was climbing on their shoulders made it worse. Robin sat on their shoulders, reaching up. Guy could feel his energy start to fade away fast, but he still held Robin. The limestone was at his hip, now.

Robin grunted, grabbing onto Much. "I won't let you down!"

"Agh!" Guy grunted, still trying to hold Robin up. "I'm sinking!"

Robin grabbed hold of the bars overhead, but he accidentally let go of Much.

"I'm going under! Aah!" he cried.

"Give me your—"

"Aah! I'm sinking!" Much was literally thrashing around, making Guy start to sink faster, too. The limestone was at his neck, and he was trying to breath.

"Much! Stay together! If you stay together, then you can breathe for a little while longer. And keep your hands moving so I know! Much!!"

Guy groaned, making the worst decision of his life. He took a deep breath and let go of Robin, sinking in the limestone. He managed to swim underneathe Much's legs and haul him up so Much could breath. But the air was quickly draining for him. His eyes were heavy, and he could barely breathe. But he still kept holding Much up with all of his strength.

That's when he heard pounding on the door and numerous screams of his name. But they sounded muffled. Guy was seeing white, and it looked like a gate was opening for him. Ghislaine was standing there in the clouds, holding her hand out for him to take with a warm smile.

Guy made one last effort to haul Much up, he of which was yelling like a maniac and clasping Robin's hand and then grabbing onto the bars overhead. If Much, Robin, or anyone was yelling Guy's name, he couldn't hear.

He let go of Much, and he took Ghilaine's hand instead.

*****

They just stood there, waiting. John was talking to Tuck, the villagers were murmuring about, and Linda was just standing there staring absentmindedly. Her mind wandered places, like how they were going to pull this off, how the future was going to turn out, what was going to happen with Isabella, and Guy.

She winced and rubbed her shoulder tenderly when she suddenly thought of Guy for some reason, possibly because of the pain she was feeling being away from him. But when she moved her arm, she felt something poking her from the inside of her jacket. She frowned and pulled it out before her eyes saddened.

The envelope.

After the night Guy proposed to her, she had snuck out of her bed that night to write the letter. The contents of the letter weren't necessarily all chappy, but if things were to play out right, then the time wouldn't come when Guy would have to actually open it up.

"What's that?"

She jumped when she heard John's, looking to her left to see that the big man peering over her shoulder. So she turned to face him and held the note at eye level with her face. "I want you to give this to Guy when the time is right," she said quietly. "Please."

John shook his head and shrugged in confusion as the note was placed in his hands. "How will I know?"

"You'll know."

John looked up, looking panicked. Linda simply smiled sadly and pushed his hands as if telling him to put it in his pockets. He nodded and put the note away, facing the gate again and waiting. The sound of Blamire shouting to open the gates made her jump again before a growl escaped her lips. Tuck simply turned around and sat on the bridge calmly, rocking back and forth. Everyone soon followed his example. The doors opened, revealing Blamire, a line of guards, and the cart along with the men behind it. Linda waved sarcastically.

"Hello."

Blamire kept the frown on his face and walked out, the guards behind him. He kept his hand on his sword. "You, there! Move out of the road!"

It took all of her self-control not to retort with a sassy remark. She looked at Tuck for help, who simply nodded. Linda sighed and rocked back and forth, smirking at Blamire.

Blamire took two steps forward, his tone dangerously low. "Move out of the road, I said, or prepare to die where you sit."

Linda chuckled in amusement, making Blamire sneer. She caught a glimpse of Archer in the town, the man moving around the cart and looking on.

"Men," Blamire ordered, "draw your swords."

The guards hesitated, and Tuck smirked and glance at Linda. The plan was working.

"I said, draw your swords now!" Blamire shouted.

Never mind.

The guards slowly drew their swords, but they didn't move an inch. Blamire drew his sword lightning fast, glaring at the outlaws in the road. He took a few steps forward toward Linda, raising his sword over his head. She stiffened, but looked at him in challenge. Isabella was at the top of the castle, looking over on the balcony. She had a crossbow in her hands.

"Get out of the way!"

Blamire moved, letting Isabella fire at Tuck's shoulder. But Linda being Linda, she quickly stood and grabbed the arrow, spinning around and notching that arrow plus one of hers on her bow, firing and purposely missing Isabella. The men gasped. Tuck grabbed her leg and shook his head. Linda didn't move.

"That was a warning shot."

Isabella sneered. "Cut them down!" she ordered through gritted teeth.

The men didn't move.

"Start with me, then!"

Everyone jumped when the saw Kate, she of which was marching past everyone and standing in front of a guard with a sword. She held hers out in front of him, giving it to him.

"Come on," she challenged. "Be a man! Start with me!"

"Do it or die," Isabella ordered the guard.

"And kill an innocent girl."

"Make that two." Linda stood next to Kate.

The guard hesitated before raising his sword. But he stopped when his sword was halfway through in the air. Linda and Kate stepped back as the guard fell dead face first, an arrow sticking out of his back as well as a throwing star.

"God, I've been waiting to do that."

Genevieve stepped out of the crowd, drawing her swords and standing next to Archer. Linda laughed in relief.

"And here you were thinking that Isabella was a good person." Genevieve clicked her tongue. "Shame, Archer."

He rolled his eyes and drew his double swords that were on his back. "Shall we?"

"Be my guest."

With a battle cry, the two of the charged. The men that were behind Linda also charged, attacking the guards and Blamire, he of which was retreating into the castle. Kate and Linda fought back-to-back.

"What made you come back?" she asked as she stabbed a guard.

"I thought Robin was in league with Isabella because of the charm," Kate answered, slitting a guards throat. "Turns out my mother lied to me."

"Has anyone ever told you that your mother is an absolute—"

"Come on, Linda, no time for chit chat!" Archer shouted as finished up one of the last guards.

"Let's go!" Tuck shouted to the men, and they all piled in.

Linda killed one last guard before jumping on Genevieve and hugging her sister tightly. "You're alive!"

"In the flesh."

"I'd hate to spoil the moment, but we need to save Robin," Archer said frantically.

"What?"

"Just come on!"

Linda and Genevieve glanced at each other before running out of the castle, and Linda was sure to grab Kate and drag her along. They ran back into the forest, Archer leading them to the tunnel entrance. They ripped the lid open, bounding inside. Linda ran smack dab into the door that blocked the hall, kicking and punching on it.

"It won't... freaking... open!"

"What's in there?" Kate demanded.

"Much, Guy, and Robin," Linda responded before her eyes widened. "Oh, my Lord. Guy. Guy! Guy, can you hear me?! Gisborne!"

Kate started kicking on the door. "Much!"

"Kate!" yelled Much's muffled voice.

Kate sighed in relief. Linda started panicking.

"GUY!"

Archer waved Genevieve over before she could also start pounding the door. "We've got to get that rope," Archer said, giving her a leg up.

"I've got it! I've got it!"

"Then pull on it, damn it!" Linda shrieked, Kate and her moving to the side.

"I'm pulling!!"

She pulled on it, and Archer let her down the the floor. The four started pulling on it, the door slowly opening. Limestone as well as two bodies came tumbling out. Kate ran to Much, sitting him up and squeezing the life out of him. He coughed, confused before hugging Kate back.

"Robin!" screeched Genevieve, sliding next to Robin and getting all the limestone off his face. "No, no, no, no, no, no." Genevieve slapped him hard across the face. "Wake up!!"

Robin coughed. "You didn't have to slap me."

Genevieve groaned and kissed him, making Linda start to snicker. But she stopped when she noticed that instead of three bodies, there was only two. She kept pulling the rope, screaming when she saw Guy's limp body fall out and get covered with more limestone than before. Linda climbed past everyone and turned Guy so he was on her lap, getting all the limestone off of him.

"Guy!" she yelled, shaking him. "Wake up, you idiot! Wake up!" Linda put her ear to Guy's mouth. "He's not breathing. He's not breathing! Come on, Guy! You promised me you would come back!" She started doing CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, trying to get him to breathe.

It wasn't working.

"Guy of Gisborne, you wake up right now," she ordered, her voice wavering. "Please."

Nothing.

Linda's bottom lip trembled and she shook her head. "No," she whispered. "No, Guy, please. Guy, please!"

She was sobbing now, and she brought his head to her chest. Her cheek was on his head, and she rocked back and forth. Linda held Guy, letting her tears spill. No one spoke or even dared to approach her, they just let her grieve.

"Come back to me. I need you," she whispered in his hair. "I love you."

A few seconds of silence passed.

"I know."

Linda's eyes snapped open, and she blinked. She let Guy's head rest in her lap, letting out a relieved and shaky sigh.

Guy's eyes were barely open, a whisper of a smirk was playing on his lips. Although covered in limestone, he looked pale, though the color was slowly starting to come back to him. His blue eyes opened fully, and he smiled and showed his glimmering white teeth.

"You didn't think I would leave you here, did you?" the former Master-at-Arms asked quietly.

Linda scoffed, but she couldn't keep the smile off of his lips. "You just did, like thirty seconds ago!"

Guy chuckled. "I'm back now."

Linda groaned. "You're impossible."

That was when Guy put his hand behind her neck and pulled her face to his, shutting her up with a kiss. She immediately dissolved into the kiss and pulled him by the collar of his tunic, sitting him up.

"Don't ever leave me alone like that again," Linda ordered him.

Guy found it hard to take her seriously. "I won't," he promised. "As long as you don't let go of me."

Linda laughed. "We're getting married, you oaf. I'm not letting go of you anytime soon."

Archer coughed loudly. "Hey, lovebirds, you still have an audience."

Guy groaned, glaring at Archer. Linda simply sighed and stood, helping Guy stand as well. He was still dizzy, and he had to lean on Linda for support. Much kept coughing like nuts, but Kate finally got him to stand. Robin's elbow was on Genevieve's shoulder, leaning on her like she was a stand.

"You came back," Robin mused.

Kate nodded. "My mother planted that locket," she explained. "I should never have doubted you, and I'm sorry."

Linda's eyes widened, and she slowly faced Much.

"Oh, no."

"Allan's innocent."

Kate frowned. "Allan?"

Linda smacked her forehead. "Isabella's been playing us all along."

Robin hit his chest and coughed a few more times. "We need to find Isabella now!"

"The entrance to the castle's blacked," Archer explained. "Follow me."

*****

They got her, and it was pretty simple. Blamire left, leaving Isabella defenseless. That gave Kate the opportunity to fight with Isabella and easily defeat her, where then the outlaws were able to capture her. Kate and Genevieve held her bonds, smirking. The rest of the outlaws were in the crowd in front of the gate, Robin standing on one or two boxes.

"In the name of King Richard, I charge Isabella of Gisborne with high treason and crimes against the people of Nottingham," Robin announced loudly. He turned and pointed past the gate to the castle. "The castle and everything in it belong to the people!"

There was cheers and applause, though it was quickly quieted it when Robin held a hand up in the air. A large smirk formed on his face whilst Linda grew red. Something embarrassing was about to happen.

"A little birdie told me two very special people are to be married," he announced, and the crowd started to murmur. "Well, now that the castle has been reclaimed, I think we should get this show on the road, shall we?"

Linda raised an eyebrow. "Now?"

Robin shrugged. "Yeah, why not?"

Flower petals started falling from nowhere in the sky, prompting her to start laughing. Robin waved her over, beckoning for her to come. Linda took a deep breath and stepped up, and everyone cleared the way for her. She stood in front of Robin, he of which was climbing down the boxes.

"Where'd the groom go?"

Guy groaned silently, slowly walking over. The crowd gasped and moved out of the way, though a few people were smirking and murmuring. Guy stood in front of Linda, only focusing on her. He looked down and intertwined his fingers with hers, giving Robin the cue to start speaking.

The outlaw cleared his throat and stood up straighter. "We are gathered here today in a newly claimed castle under the name of King Richard, with friends and family, to wittiness this lovely couple today say their dues and their vows—"

Genevieve groaned. "Oh, for the love of everything that is holy in this world, just cut to the chase."

Robin chuckled. "Do you, Guy of Gisborne, promise to love and cherish this woman, my best friend, as long as you live?"

Guy nodded. "I do."

"Do you promise to hold her from this day forth, protect her, my best friend, from any evil that may come her way."

Guy rolled his eyes. "I do."

"And lastly, do you promise to hold her, my best—"

"Robin, you've gotten that point across," Linda said with a chuckle.

Robin raised his hands in defense. "Just being cautious," he explained with a smirk. "Now, before I was rudely interrupted, do you promise to hold her, make her feel like she is the only one who matters in the world?"

Guy smiled at her, squeezing her hand. "I do."

"Great." Robin sighed. "Whelp, Linda, you're pretty much going to say 'I do' to everything I say, so just kiss already and get it done."

Linda giggled and shook her head in amusement, looking down at the floor. Guy used his fingertips to raise her chin and make her look at him, tracing his thumb over her cheek. His other hand snaked around her waist, pulling her forward and kissing her deeply. Linda wrapped her arms around his neck, happily kissing her back. The crowd started cheering and going nuts. Even Genevieve was laughing.

"Robin!" Much cried, ruining the outlaws' happy mood.

Linda and Guy broke the kiss, staring in his direction. Much looked panicked and worried, and he waved all of them over. In silent agreement, the newly wedded couple ran over and followed Much outside of the castle, the others right behind them. Kate and Genevieve dragged Isabella by the arms. A few people from the crowd followed them outside to the gate, where a body bad was waiting for them. Genevieve gulped.

"W-who's inside?" she stammered.

"I don't know," Much admitted. Him, Robin and John unrolled the bag, and a body came plopping out.

Linda pushed past everyone before stopping at the bag, feeling like someone has punched her in the gut as she felt her chest start to press into her body. "No." She shook her head slowly before slumping next to the body. "No!" she almost screamed. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no."

Allan A Dale was the "gift", his sea blue eyes open and dull. His chest was damp with dried blood, and he wasn't moving nor breathing. Linda shook her head fast and checked his pulse.

"He's dead," she whispered. "He's dead and it's our fault." She started crying. "He was supposed to walk me down the aisle. But I — we, didn't believe him, and now he's dead." She closed his eyes and kissed his temple. "Allan, I'm so sorry."

Linda started sobbing quietly as John collapsed to his knees. Even Guy seemed saddened, but he soon hardened and panicked.

"Close the gates," he said quietly. He raised his voice to scream, drawing his sword. "Close the gates!"

Linda looked up, eyes widening when she saw tens of thousands of men on horses waving flags around. They were armed with swords, shields, spears, and catapults. Blamire was out in the open, riding out to the field to meet the riders. Linda stood and took her place next to Robin. She gasped when she saw the leader ride out to meet Blamire

"Man the battlements!!!" Guy screamed, rushing inside. "Move!"

Tuck dragged Much inside, Kate and Genevieve pulling Isabella inside. John picked up Allan and put him on his shoulders, rushing inside. Robin and Linda just stood there, staring in shock.

"Oh putain."

He was indeed alive, having a stare down with her. He was wearing all black, leather and cloack included. His hair grew out, but he still seemed bald. Yet his sneer and evil look in his eye was still the same as ever. He drew his sword, smirking and pressing a kiss to the hilt before letting it slide in his sheathe again. Robin and Linda sneered one last time before entering the castle, shutting the gates.

Sheriff Vaisey was alive, and he was going to kill them all.
