"Mice!" shouted Finn, trying to stomp the animal.
"Finn, leave him be!" exclaimed Robin, turning from his work.
"I hate mice," he growled, backing up.
"Help me shift this," said Robin, signaling to a stone in the wall. "Come on."
Finn knelt down next to Robin. "It looks pretty solid to me."
"Yeah. Well, let's find out, shall we?" Robin blew the remaining dirt off of the stone. "I can feel a draft. Come on."
Finn and Robin moved the stone. Robin was right, there was a draft coming through. They lied down and crawled close to the hole they had just created. The men examined it, and Robin bobbed his head up and down.
"Drainage gutter," said Robin to Finn. "That's our way out."
Finn looked from Robin to the tunnel. "We're gonna get out through here?" Robin nodded. "That's not possible!"
Robin laughed and crawled backwards. Grabbing a chain, he walked back to Finn. Handing it to Finn, Robin went down the hole. Finn groaned and grunted as he held the chain steady, lowering Robin. When he was low enough, Robin let go of the chain. Finn looked back to the door. It was unlocking, and that meant Guy was coming in. Crawling through, Finn jumped.
"Aaaaaaaah!" cried Finn as he dropped, landing with a thud next to Robin.
"They've escaped!" Robin heard Guy yell once the door was opened. "You, wait there! The rest of you search the castle -- find them!"
Robin and Finn crawled through the tiny space, until Robin stopped to talk. "Finn!" Robin nodded to a closed vent door. "I think this might be our way out."
Robin crawled toward the vent door, Finn close behind him. Kicking it, the vent broke. Robin looked out, the long distance of floor and him staring each other right in the face. Squeezing his eyes shut, he shook his head.
"Finn," he called.
"What?"
"We have a problem."

Linda paced on the roof, biting her nails. Tiernan and her father were shipping the men, and she had no idea what to do. Robin and Finn were captured, God knows how they were going to escape and how long they had. Basically, Linda was stuck in the middle... again. But what bothered her most was Guy. He and her had barely talked since their argument, not even acknowledging each other. They had seen each other once just five minutes ago, and only stared. Groaning, she ran her hands through her hair. It was not until she her a clatter of metal did her train of thought get interrupted. Frowning, Linda leaned over the railing, finding that a vent door was falling down. She saw Robin's head look down in disbelief.
"Robin!" cried Linda.
Robin turned on his back and stared wide-eyed at her. "Linda! We have a problem!"
"I know, it's a long drop." Looking around, she saw type of metal crate looking jail. It had square holes on it, so something could be wrapped around it... something strong. "Robin, do you have a chain or whatnot?"
Robin smiled at her. "Good thinking!" Robin looked from the ground to her. "Get me that chain," he said to someone.
"Why?" came their angry response. Of course, Finn.
"Just get me the chain!"
Linda heard growling and rattling of a chain. Robin grabbed it and looked up. "Now what?"
"Throw it and try to wrap it around here." She patted the crate.
"What? It'll never work!"
"Just do it!"
Muttering to himself, Robin let the chain slide down, stopping it when it was was almost done.
"Grab my feet," he ordered to Finn.
Moving his arm back and forth, Robin threw up the chain. Linda caught it, wrapping it around the pole connecting to the crate. Robin started to climb, Linda offering her hand when he was almost up to help him. Finn started to climb up as well. A guard arrived at the scene and charged. Scoffing, Linda dodged his attacks, punching him in the face. Two more arrived, looking over the top of the roof at the beacon sight. Robin climbed up the ladder, ducking when the guard swung at his neck. Robin grabbed him and threw him over the roof, the guard screaming as he made his way down. Finn dealt with the other one easily, grabbing a sword and stabbing his enemy. Panting, Finn went to examine the materials.
"We can make something, but it's going to take a while," he informed. "A long while."
Robin nodded. Looking to Linda, he gave her an apologetic look. Before she could speak, he grabbed her wrist and put her back against his chest. He walked over the the ladder, one hand holding both arms in a lock behind her back, and one holding a knife on her neck.
"What are you doing?!" she squeaked.
"Finn said he needed time, so I am going to give him time," he answered. "Scream."
"What?"
"Scream. Scream for help."
"Why would I do that?"
"Because I am about to scratch you with this knife, then kill you."
"You wouldn't."
"Kill you? No, I guess not." Robin chuckled to himself. "I don't have the heart to kill you. But scratch you? Yes. Sorry."
Robin cut her cheek, and Linda screamed.
*****
Guy walked through the castle, making his way to the room Robin was held in. Ought to have one last glance at his enemy before he was dead, Guy thought. A guard was behind him, walking along.
"Make sure the executioner is prepared, and have the horses ready," Guy ordered. "We join the Sheriff immediately Robin Hood is dead."
The guard nodded and walked off. Guy continued to walk, alone this time. His mind raced with thoughts of his enemy dying, and it filled him with joy. But then his mind went to Linda, and he almost toppled over himself. That did not fill him with joy, but with anger. Not talking to her made him go nuts, and he hoped she was feeling that way, too. He hated the fact that all of those words she said to him... they were true. But what riled him up more was the fact that he almost killed her. He almost killed her, God help him! And also, she was going to allow it. God, if only Linda knew what she could do to Guy sometimes.
Finally, he made it to the door of the room. "Open the door," he ordered the guard with the key.
Nodding, he turned around and got out his key... or rather, keys. It took too long for Guy's liking, and he was not a patient person. Walking back and forth, Guy gritted his teeth.
"Come on," he urged. "Come on!"
The guard finally got the door opened, and Guy stormed into an empty room. Drawing his sword, he bent to down look at a hole that was created in the wall. Cursing, he stood back up and said, "They've escaped! You, wait there!" Guy pointed to the hole that was in the wall, and the guard ran to it. "The rest of you, search the castle -- find them!"
Guy walked back to where he just came from, somewhat running now. Guy searched everywhere, from the rooms to the the courtyard. Gathering all of the guards, Guy ran outside of the castle, now deserted with no men. Guy then saw Much cheering. He was about to charge, but he stopped. A female scream filled the air, and he looked up to the roof.
"LINDA!" he screamed at her. Looking to his men, he pointed at the roof. "There! Get them! Linda, hold on!"
Rushing back inside, he didn't even bother to help the guards that were getting their butts kicked by the outlaws and Kate. Running in front of the guards, Guy ran up the stairs, rounding every corner he passed by.
Finally, he made it upstairs, stopping at the entrance. What he saw scared him greatly: Linda had a cut on her cheek, and a knife at her neck. Her capturer? Robin Hood. They were at the edge of the ladder, and he could throw her off anytime he wanted to. He had her pressed up against him, using his hands to keep her in place by grabbing her both her arms and pinning it behind her. There was no escape for Linda. Guy's eyes widened with fear. Snatching a crossbow from a guard next to him, he aimed it at Robin.
"Robin Hood, I swear to God, if you hurt her I will kill you myself! Hell, if you touch one hair on her head, you die!" yelled Gisborne, inching forward slowly.
Robin laughed with no emotion, and narrowed his eyes at Guy. "Really? You said that to me when I had Marian, and look how that turned out!"
"Guy!" exclaimed Linda, but then she yelped when the knife got pushed into her neck, almost drawing blood.
Robin shushed her. "You're going to spoil the fun." Robin looked to Guy. "Now, you know what it feels like, to have the closet person being ripped away from you. Now, you will experience true grief. You killed the one person that was close to me. You killed my wife, Gisborne. And now, you will know my pain." Robin pressed the knife closer to her skin, making her scream once more.
"Please, no!" she pleaded. "Robin, don't do this!"
"No!" shouted Guy, inching closer now. "This is between you and me, let her go!"
Robin smiled in triumph. Finn emerged from behind him, holding what looked like a parachute.
"Are we ready?" he asked Robin.
Robin looked back and nodded. Looking to Guy again, he growled. "But it turns out it will not be this day," he said menacingly. "You want me to let her go? Fine, I'll let her go."
Guy threw the crossbow to the side and ran straight to the ladder, not taking any more. When he was almost there, Robin pushed Linda over the ladder, making her scream loud in fear. Guy caught her, and she buried her face in his chest, trembling. Still carrying her, he walked to the ledge. Robin and Finn were flying on the parachute they made, gliding over Nottingham.
"Hood!" he shouted. "Hood!"
Everyone watched as Robin and Finn made it down to the ground untouched. The outlaws and Kate helped him down, and they ran out of Nottingham. Growling, he turned away from the railing and turned to the nearest guard.
"Get the horses ready. Go!" The guard ran to do what he commanded. Guy looked down to the trembling figure in his arms. "Hey, hey. You're okay." Linda looked up at him, fear written all over her face. "It's just me. Nobody is going to hurt you, I promise. Okay?"
Linda nodded. Guy set her gently on the ground. As soon as her feet touched land, she wrapped her arms around his neck. Guy staggered, but he was soon holding onto her tightly, too.
"Thank you, thank you," she whispered, and Guy nodded. When she pulled away, she shook her head violently. "Guy, I'm so sorry. About what I said, I didn't mean it. I'm sorry for everything. It's my fault, I—"
"Linda," he cut her off. Shaking his head, he pressed a sweet kiss to her cheek. "You were right about those things you said. You're never wrong, trust me." Linda made a small smile. "Now, come on, we need to find your father."

Vaisey and Tiernan trotted on the Coastal Road. The men were about to get shipped to Ireland, and Vaisey was about to get his money. All was well, until three horses came riding along. Looking to the side, he frowned when he saw Linda riding with Guy, two guards accompanying them. They stopped in front of him, Guy's expression grim.
"Robin Hood and Finn have escaped," he said. "They're after you. I have more men on the way."
"You let my brother get out?!" shouted Tiernan in disbelief. "He'll not rest until he's hunted me down."
Just then, arrows came flying everywhere. Linda screamed and held onto Guy tighter, him scanning the area and trying to keep his horse under control.
"We're under attack!" cried Vaisey.
The villagers looked around, while the guards, Vaisey and Guy rode around.
"It's Hood!" shouted Guy. "Take cover! Linda!"
He made his horse face the arrows, protecting her if need be. Tiernan rode backwards with his sword out, making the villagers go the same way. He got off of his horse with the help of two Celts. "Hey! Quickly, you two, get the money! Come on!"
Vaisey made his horse turn around. "Where's he going with my money?! Get after him, Gisborne!"
Guy made his horse go into a full gallop, Linda bobbing up and down. But them more arrows came from the side, barely hitting Guy. He stopped, his eyes scanning the area. "They're everywhere! Pull back! Wait for reinforcements! Move!"
Guy moved his horse around and trotted away, leaving Tiernan alone... the money with him.

Guy and Vaisey walked their horses along a path, Linda still riding on Guy's horse. Guards were behind the three of them, at least the remaining ones. They had escaped Robin Hood, but the money was gone, and that meant the patronage was not going to get payed. To be honest with himself, Guy somewhat didn't care. Every now and then, he would look up at his horse, checking on Linda. She would always give him a reassuring smile and a little nod, and Guy would then focus his attention to the front. Suddenly, guards on horse back arrived in front of them. They had a red and yellow logo on their breast plates.
"Ah, Prince John's escort," said Vaisey.
Linda got off of the horse, walking to Gisborne's side. "They want the money," she whispered.
The three of then walked to the escort, and Guy asked, "So what will we do?"
"We?" Vaisey chuckled, and Linda shot her father a look. "Do you think that I'm going to be responsible for your arrogance and your incompetence again?"
They stopped. Vaisey pulled out a sword from Guy's belt. Guy turned around, eyeing the sword. Linda backed up a bit, afraid to see what would transpire.
"You can't be serious," said Guy. "Put it down."
"I concur, put it down," said Linda. Vaisey looked to his right, seeing that she had a crossbow aimed at his head. "I'll shoot."
At this everyone drew their weapons, either pointing it at Guy or Linda. Vaisey chuckled.
"No, Gisborne. No, Linda. This time, he pays my dues."
"You're crazy," said Linda. "Put. It. Down."
"Gentlemen, good to see you," said Vaisey to the guards, totally ignoring what Linda just said. "Very smart, lovely colors—"
"Terrible colors, actually," commented Linda.
"Tight fitting uniform. Excellent. Slight change of plan. There is no patronage money." Vaisey pushed Guy at the guards.
"What? That's it!" Without thinking, Linda fired the crossbow at one of the escorts that grabbed Guy. The arrow hit his chest, and he fell dead to the floor. Guy punched his other escort in the face, making him free. Linda? Not so much. Vaisey's guards grabbed her, making the crossbow fall out of her hands. "Let me go!" she ordered, struggling to get out of their grasps.
Vaisey turned and sighed. "Linda, why do you do this?" He shook his head and clicked his tongue. "Naughty girl."
"Guy, run. Now," she commanded to Guy, staring Vaisey right in the face.
"Run, and she dies," said Vaisey, turning around. He looked to the renaming escorts. "Gisborne has volunteered to go with you to explain why not to Prince John personally. Or, I can go, and the girl dies."
"You're crazy!" shouted Linda.
"Oh, shh," shushed Vaisey. "Well, Gisborne? Would you like to stay, or go?"
Guy hesitated. Looking to Vaisey he growled. But then he looked to Linda, and he felt fear jump through him. She was shaking her head, her eyes pleading. Guy looked back to Vaisey and nodded. Vaisey smirked.
"Good!" The remaining escorts grabbed Guy.
"No, Father, please. This means certain death," said Linda, and Vaisey laughed. "Get off me! Guy! Guy!" She was practically screeching now.
Vaisey laughed once more and walked back to Guy. "Well, you never know. You might Prince John in a good mood. He's all yours."
The guards started to drag Guy backwards. Guy looked to Vaisey and gave him a cold look. "I won't forget this," he promised. "I'll be back for you!"
"Guy!" By now, Linda was able to escape. She head-butted the guard behind her, and then kicked him in the groin. Linda punched her other capturer in the face and kicked him hard. She started to run to Guy, but Vaisey grabbed her waist to hold her back. "Guy! Guy!"
"Calm down, Linda," said Vaisey, pulling her back to his own horse.
"Linda, I'll be back, I promise," said Guy. Then he disappeared with the escorts.

damn you, Vaisey. I swear that the scene when Guy was being handed over scared me because I had no idea what would happen. *shudders*
