I throw the ball with great force and all the bottles fall with a clash. Instantly BamBam's bottles fall too, all of them. I grab another ball and throw it. All the bottles fall again. Without hesitation he throws his ball and knocks them all down. "You make this last one, you get the giant prize." A man tells the both of us.

I look up at the display of prizes and see a giant donut. I know I can win it. I then think about BamBam. I look at him, "After you." I stand up straight. I look at the bottles and all of them fall, making me happy. I then purposely hit one and not win the giant prize.

I look at BamBam and he just stares at me in disbelief that I would do something like that on purpose. I grin at him and pick my small prize.
He chooses a huge bear with a green tie and hands it to Lalisa. She smiles wide and gives him a hug. I smile too. "I'll win you a giant prize at the other booth." I tell her.

She nods. "Okay." Lalisa then walks ahead to the next booth. "Why'd you do that?" He asks. I smile and look at him. "What'd I do?" I ask. "You let me win. Don't act like you didn't.","For your information. You suck really bad at carnival games. And when I played against you, you actually tried." He just stares at me.

"And you got your wish. You gave Lalisa the first prize." I tell him before walking off to the booth. "Forgot to give this to you." I say as I pull out the small prize that I won. It's a little keychain with a few dangling cherry blossom flowers and some white pearls on it.

It was one of the more decent small prizes in the bunch to choose from. "Thank you." She caresses my hand as she takes it from my hand.
Followed by a kiss on my cheek. She then connects the keychain to her purse. "Let's play. You and I." I tell her. She smiles. "Okay." She says. "BamBam, can you please hold this for me?" She asks.

"Okay." He answers. "Don't go easy on me." She says. I smile. We are playing the balloon dart game. I know for a fact that Lalisa can throw. So I'm not going easy on her. We hand over the right amount of tickets. We are then handed five darts each by the boy who runs the booth. Every dart that we threw, we hit a balloon.

When I was about to throw my fourth one, she pushes my arm and the dart hits the push board. I look at her and drop my jaw. She's laughing hysterically as she throws the other darts she has. I hear other people laughing too. Ha, very funny. I'm laughing sooo hard.

Each one she threw, popped a balloon. She instantly wins the giant prize. I continue staring at her. She grabs the giant rabbit and won't stop laughing at my face. "You cheater!" I finally exclaim after the long amount of that I just stared at her like a shocked hamster. "You still have one dart left." She says through her laugh.

I throw it quickly and pop a balloon. I'm then handed the medium sized prize. I'm given a puppy. "Oh. Thank you." She says reaching for it. I laugh, "No." I say simply. "You're a cheater." I tell her. "But it's cute!" She pouts. "Nope. The cheater doesn't deserve it." I say. "Jungkook!" She whines as she follows me away from the booth.

"No." I chuckle. I literally almost fall forward when she jumps on my back, holding the giant rabbit. "Lalisa!" I laugh. "You have to give me the prize!" She holds onto me. I shake my head. "Hope. Ain't gonna happen." I tell her. "I barely cheated." She pouts. A lot of people are looking at us. I'm about to gently push her off of me when she sets a kiss on my cheek. "It's mine." She says to me in a whisper.

I literally feel my heart skip a damn beat in my chest. Like, literally. My heart was beating regularly. Then it went, ba baaaaaaa boom. I somehow grab her so that she's in my arms. "Jungkook!!!!" She exclaims and laughs. The gray rabbit falls on the floor and so does the puppy teddy that I won. Her arms wrapping around my neck and her legs around my waist.

She's holding on for dear life. I spin around and she can't stop laughing. Many people smile and laugh when they look at us. We then finally settle down and she detaches from me. She picks up and the rabbit and the dog. I smile as she hugs the dog. "Thaaaaank you Jungkook." She teases. I playfully roll my eyes. "Okay okay. It's yours." She smiles wide and walks up to me. I stay still.

She barely goes on her tippy toes and pecks my lips before she skips over to BamBam. "Let's play a game together!" She exclaims to him. He smiles wide and follows her to another booth. I fall upon a really easy game that I've always loved playing. The game where you roll a ball down a little alleyway and when you make it into a hole it moves your horse.

There are people getting seated. I've decided that I want to win something for my mother. She'd love it if I came home with something for her. "Hey you! With the face." A man using a little microphone calls me. I was already looking at the booth. "Yeah! Come on over! We need one more player!" The man running the booth says.

I pull out two tickets and sit at the booth. "Aaaaaaall righty then. We've got all the players now. We've got number one and two and three and Ah four and Ah five!" He says enthusiastically. He has a waxed cotton vintage style Hanna Hat on. He's dressed in a buttoned up shirt tucked into grey slacks that was held up by suspenders. Basically the old fashion that Americans wear in the movies.

"Your number is displayed right in front of you.  In order to move your horse you roll your ball and if it makes it into one of those holes, depending on the number. It will move your horse forward that many spaces." He talks in a very forced accent that made everyone laugh. "Aaaaall righty then. Don't start until I say go." He then pushes a button on the display and a horn is played.

The sort of horn that everyone is familiar with. You hear it at sports events. It's played before everyone yells Charge!!! "Go!" He exclaims. I'm like the speed of light. Passing up everyone. "And we got the leading boy over here with the face!" The man yells making me laugh. "Eeeeh number three is in the lead followed by four." He talks extremely fast.

"One is catching up to four but number three is so fast this kids already close to the finish line!" He exclaims. I throw the last ball and it lands into the highest point you can get and I make it to the finish line."Aaaaaaaaand we got a winner. Number three, Ah number threeeeee. Followed by number four and Ah one." He walks over to me and hands me a cute bear. "Here you go kid with the face."

I chuckle, taking the bear. "What's that supposed to mean?" I ask him. "You got a face don't ya?" He asks. "Yes." He smiles, "Then That's the answer kid." I laugh at the man. I bow my head to him, before getting off my chair. When I turn I see Lalisa walking up to me. "You won?" She asks. I nod. She smiles, "I beat BamBam." She says.

I smile, "That's good." I tell her. "Look what I won." She turns and it's a backpack, and she's put all the other bears in it as she holds the one she cheated to win. "That came in handy." I tell her. She nods and looks at the little bear I won. "How cute! Who's that for?" She asks, batting her eyes. I laugh, "My mother." I tell her. "Awe Jungkook that's so cute!" She exclaims.

We play a couple more games when Lalisa buys the last round of tickets. I told her I'd pay for them but she said that it wasn't fair that BamBam and I were paying for everything. Soon Lalisa's arms and BamBam's arms were filled with teddy bears. I finally won Lalisa three huge prizes and beat BamBam at everything. I figured since he got the satisfaction of winning Lalisa the first one.

I have the satisfaction of winning Lalisa the rest. Lalisa even ended up giving me the huge rabbit she cheated winning. She said because it looks like me. "So you'll never forget I beat you at darts." She told me. Which made me laugh because I'll always remember it as her cheating. We finally head home, we didn't eat food at the carnival because my mother is making dinner. And I know she'll make a lot, so I saved up my appetite for it.

Getting on the train home, many people were giving us looks. Looks of how cute Lalisa looked with all those bears hanging off her. Maybe even from jealousy because we won so much. Where are we going to put it all? We set most of them on the seat next to BamBam. And Lalisa holds tight one of the larger bears I won for her. "Did you have fun today?" I ask her as I lean back in my seat and turn my head to look at her.

She curls her legs up into her chest as she held the bear. She nods quickly. "I had a great time. I'm so happy I came with you today." She whispers. "I'm happy you came too." I agree. Her eyes looking at me. They seemed to lighten up in color. Instead of being dark brown, they're light brown, hazel even. I just wanted to hug her so tight and smell her hair.

To hear her soft breaths against my chest. To run my fingers through her hair. And caress her soft skin as we share a gentle kiss. Or maybe that makes me a creep. I inhale slowly as I stare at her. I don't think I've even blinked since I've set eyes on her. How much I've been wanting to let the words roll off my tongue.

She grins at me and picks up her hand to caress my face. She lays her head against the bear and looks up at me with those eyes. Her fingers running over my hair, fixing the parting. Her eyes trailing from my eyes to my hair, it must be pretty messed up. My lips part as I was looking at her face. A smile then appears on her face when she fixes it. Then her eyes meet mine and she squishes my cheek.

I smile wide and she leans back in her seat.

I love you. Is what I want to say.

When we exit the train station I instantly see her parents waiting in front of their car. "Did you guys have fun?" Her mother asks. She then sees all the prizes that we've won at the booths. "Wow, who won all of those?" She asks. "All of us." Lalisa tells her. I hold onto the one that I won for my mother. Because I know that she misses me when I'm away. And I want her to know that I was thinking about her.

"Well, we can put those in the back trunk since there's so many of them. They're all for you Lalisa?" Lalisa then nods quickly. "Jungkook and BamBam gave them to me. Wasn't that nice?" Her mother then nods, "Yes, that was very nice of them." Her father then greets us and we head to my house for dinner as expected.

"Thank you for the invite. We have been wanting to have dinner with your mother for a long time. We want to meet the woman that raised you into a respectful young man." Her father tells me. "Yes, my mother has been wanting to have dinner with the both of you as well. She's very fond of Lalisa. She practically wants her over all the time." Both parents laugh.

"We're in hopes that we can talk about the trip that we invited you on. We would love for you went to attend." I not quickly. "Yes, that is one of the topics that my mother want to talk to you about. She wanted to know more about the trip before she said I can go.", "Sounds reasonable." Lisa's mother says. "She's very excited to be making dinner for you all tonight."

In no time we make it to my house. And the second we get out of the car, my mother is already at the door ready to greet everyone. "Hello! Hello! Welcome! Welcome!" My mother exclaims with such excitement. I smile as I hold her teddy bear in my hand. The adults go off to chat like there's no tomorrow. Lalisa's parents were so excited to to be coming to dinner with us.

But no one was as excited as my mother. I guess because lately I've been busy, and she likes that she can have people to talk to and be with. Even if it's only for tonight. When my mother stays at the door and Lalisa's parents walk into the living room. My mother greets BamBam and then greets Lalisa with a huge hug and a kiss on the cheek.

When she sees me she has the biggest smile on her face. "My Jungkookie, did you have fun? I was hoping that you would." I nod and set the giant bunny in between my legs before hug her tight. I would never hug my mother with loose arms. "I love you so much Eomma." I remind her. Just in case she's forgotten. "I love you more." She whispers. She sets a kiss on my cheek and releases the hug.

"I won this for you Eomma." I tell her, showing her the little teddy bear that wore a little T-shirt and a hat. Much like the outfit the guy who was running the booth was wearing. She smiles so big I'm afraid her face would fall off completely. Or even all her teeth would fall out of her mouth. Okay. This is sort of gruesome. I'll quiet down.

"Oh, Jungkookie. I love it so much. I'm going to put it on my bed." Seeing my mother smile this big because of something I got her, makes me the happiest kid alive. I grab the bunny, then close the front door and my mother runs off to her room like an excited child to put the bear on her bed. I then walk into the living room and Lalisa's parents are looking at pictures of when I was younger.

I'm so happy my mother doesn't have up pictures of me and my butt cheeks. I set the bunny on the couch for now, not going to my room because that would be rude of me since we have guests over. I then hear little footsteps running down the hall and my mother is right next to me. "Dinner is actually ready if you'd like to follow me." My mother smiles wide. Lalisa's parents quickly follow my mother.

Commenting about how nice the living room is decorated and the lovely pictures she has up of me when I was a child. I feel a hand hold mine. I smile when I know who it is. I look at her and smiles back. "I'm happy I'm here with you." She whispers. "Me too." When we get to the dinning room I instantly turn to her. "Sit in front of me." I tell her. She nods and we're about to get seat so she's in front of me.

BamBam gets the seat at the end. I get up quickly to help my mother serve the food. I obviously serve the drinks since I'm literally the youngest at the dinner table out of respect for the special occasion tonight. When everything is served we all begin to eat together.

"So Jungkook, You were such a doll. You were such a cutie when you were a baby." Her mother tells me. "Oh, thank you." I find myself blushing. "And now you're such a handsome handsome boy, my goodness." I feel Lalisa's eyes on me, my face is so hot you can roast marshmallows over it. "Thank you." I smile. "Oh, so. I wanted to ask you about the trip that you said you wanted to invite Jungkook on."

I'm then able to eat in peace. "Oh yes, we'd love for Jungkook to come.", "Of course he can go but I want to know where you'd be going exactly and for how long." My mother sounds a little nervous. I haven't been away from her for a trip before besides the upperclassmen trip. But she shouldn't be nervous because I'll be with people she knows. Sort of.

"We'll be going back to Thailand to meet up with family. And it's only for a weekend. Leaving Friday and coming back Sunday." Lalisa's father speaks up. "Oh that sounds nice." My mother says with a smile. "So where was my invitation?" I hear BamBam whisper to Lalisa. I look up at Lalisa. "Don't start." She mumbles as she plays with her rice before eating it. I clinch my jaw before minding my own business again.

"Well, I think it would be okay if Jungkook goes." My mother says. But it makes me wonder if she's only saying yes because of the pressure of being here with all of us. "Don't worry, we'll take good care of him.", "I know." She says. But did she know? It's not like she'd be sending me off to college just yet. And she was even iffy about me going to college in America.

I don't know why though. It's not like I'm going to live there forever and never come back. But I think that she'll get used to it over time. "So, what do you think about Jungkook applying to school in America." I sense my mother hesitate. "I'm happy if he's happy.", "Lalisa is also applying to the same schools as Jungkook."

I look at my mother and she forces a smile. "That's good, maybe they'll be able to go to the same school together." And it seems that the more she thought about it. She was okay with me going to America if I was going with Lalisa. "I think that would be amazing if they went together." Lalisa's father adds.

"And you're going to America for school? When were you going to tell me about this?" I hear BamBam ask Lalisa. I look at him. "You talk her into it?" He looks pissed. "Of course I didn't." I say quickly. "I made that decision a long time ago BamBam. Whether or not I go, that shouldn't be your concern." She tells him. The parents were talking so loud they didn't hear BamBam and Lalisa arguing.

"Excuse me? I have a right to know.", "Oh, because you tell me EVERYTHING. Okaaay." She says in a sarcastic tone. "Whatever." Lalisa raises an eyebrow. Her tongue pushing on the inside of her cheek. She's clearly annoyed. "So when it comes to me, I have to tell you everything. But if it's the other way around I don't have to know about you?" She laughs. "You're so sexist." She mumbles under her breath.

"I am not sexist." He rebuttals. "Look, I don't think that she needs to tell you everything. Like you don't tell her. So if you're not going to tell her everything, don't expect her to tell you." BamBam then looks at me. "Excuse me?", "You're excused." I quickly say. He laughs, not because he thinks I'm funny. But because I just got on his last nerve.

"You don't have the right to bud into our conversation." I raise an eyebrow. "In my own house, in my own dinning room, and my table as you eat off the plates I eat off of?" He then closes his lips together tightly. "And just in case you forgot.. Lalisa is my girlfriend. And if your causing her to be upset, I have the right to end whatever is upsetting her." I take a sip of my tea. "So... Yeah. I think I do have the right to bud into the conversation."

I sense Lalisa smile. "Are we done here?" I ask him. He just nods. "Good." I nod back. BamBam just looks down and slowly finishes his food. He then says nothing more. I look up at Lalisa and she just stares at me with a small smile on her face. I return the smile and look into her eyes.

Everyone is done with dinner and my mother brings out dessert because she always makes dessert. My mother made Nutella Mochi donut holes. I hear Lalisa laugh. I look up at her. "Mochi." She says. I laugh too cause I know who she's thinking about. When everyone is done eating their mochis, us teens go to the living room.

"You mother made a good dinner." Lalisa says sleepily. "I know. And she really out did herself tonight. She really wanted to impress your parents." She smiles as we sit on the couch. Right when we sit down, she latches onto me and lays her head on my chest. BamBam doesn't join us on the couch.

Instead he sits in the armchair on the other side of the room. "You sound tired." I tell her. "I am." She replies in a whisper. "You can sleep if you'd like." She then kisses my cheek. "Okay. Thank you." She says. I can't find myself to become comfortable. Not with BamBam in the room watching me like a hawk. What?

He thinks I'm going to hurt Lalisa? Never. She grabs my hand and makes me wrap my arm around her and she doesn't say other word before falling asleep. She doesn't move much after either. "You know. If I didn't dislike you so much. I might actually be able to accept the fact that Lalisa is with someone like you." I look up at him. Why does he hate me so much? I think before I say something.

I stare at him. "Why can't you? I get it. You like her." I'm instantly offended. "I've done nothing to you. And before Monday I never even knew you. Only from what Lalisa had told me. That you are her best friend and honestly the way she talked so fondly of you. I was jealous."

He then looks shocked.
