chapter=13 Hurt?(edited)

"Being let down by someone you thought would never hurt you hurts more than anything else."
*****
I have already started writing Imran and Aisha's story, so please go check it out:
Stuck With Arrogant CEO.
*********
Yumna:
Before my wedding, I had invited Imran's friends Hamza and Yakub over for a small get-together. While we were enjoying ourselves, I called Aisha's parents to invite her. Later, they spoke to uncle and aunt for their own small gathering because it is not appropriate to leave us kids alone. They joined us at our house, but Aisha was unaware of this. While she was staring at Imran, it is possible that they were not expecting each other at the door, but soon after, she turned to face her parents, cracked a wide smile, and mouthed "thank you."

While they were staring at each other, I noticed my brother's fists clenching and unclenching. "What is wrong with him?" I wondered. I asked myself if I could see his friends staring at two stubborn people at the door, and it is a good thing the elders are in the open room next to us.

Seeing them reminded me of Ahad Astagfirullah...this union will be good distraction We all stared at them as Aisha paled and my brother asked her a question, which I hope will ease the tension in the room as I was about to give her a hug.

Are there any other tasks you need to complete?apart of coming to our house every now and then?" He asked, and I knew he did it on purpose because he is a jerk and knows I am the one who called her.

"That is not the way to treat my friend and guest who is at the door," I told him, smacking his arm and hugging Aisha.

"Do not mind his words; I am not sure what is wrong with him. By the way, has anyone approached you?I mean guy," I told her on purpose to see how she would react and how my brother, who was already seated with his friends, would react. She simply looked at him, and he looked back at her, and then we headed to the kitchen to prepare coffee and doughnuts. I gave my jerk of a brother a backhand glare and stared back, but he just kept arguing with his friends like it was nothing special.

Unity is strength.

It's fun when two best friends are cooking together in kitchen.

In the kitchen:
"So what's deal?why did you say that out there," Aisha told me while placing all mugs needed for coffee and I explained her Imran usually has his coffee in his special mug.

"Say what?," I pretended I din't know what she's talking about and switched on gas put the milk to boil and add coffee since sugar everyone will add on their own according to their taste some take two table spoons some more or less.

"You know what I am talking about."

"Oh that about guy approaching you I said for your own good, It's high time  you get engaged,"I told her while stirring coffee abit since it was ready.

"Or you like someone?" I asked her and she looked away sadly.

"Just how long will you hide your feelings?"I thought to myslef.

"Hey, can you take this coffee for them I will come in a while with snacks,"Aisha told me and I agreed without arguing and she needs some time when the person you like is right sitting there avoiding you it hurts and I left while she was preparing plates and adding different bites.

Aisha:
Actions hurt but words hurt more.

I just din't expect Imran to open the door I kept staring I just din't have anything back to say at his words I just decided to avert my gaze to my surprise Imran's friends were there and when I gazed to other side my smile grew wider Imran must be thinking I have gone crazy smiling alone but I was just to happy to see my parents but this jer had to spoil by his rude remark I just decided to ignore and gladly be thankful to Yumna she decided to erase tension.

While in kitchen I told her to go and take coffee for them I was just hurt by Imran's words he never speaks to me and when he speaks it's always rudely.

"What's his problem? I will just decide to ignore him,"I thought to myself.

"What are you doing here?crying over what I said?," I jumped hearing his familiar voice since the way he spoke scared me and took bite of ginger biscuit and put in his mouth.

Words like haughty, foolish, and attitude all sprang to mind.

You still like him, though. another thought crossed my mind.

"No," I replied, turning away from him and going about my business.

"Are not you supposed to be with your friends? Why is what I do important to you anyway? My voice rose. This guy always makes remarks like this, which makes it impossible for me to respond to him and win him over. I am never like this.

The next thing he told me left me speechless. "Do not raise your voice," he said, approaching and speaking right up to my ear until I could smell his nice but not overpowering cologne. I do not like strong perfumes.

"Go away, damnit. If you do not want to get hurt, just go away from me." His voice betrayed him, he told me, even the damnit he used sounded low, like he was fighting with himself.

"I like you, and you will protect and not hurt me." Simply shutting my mouth, I turned my head to avoid seeing his response.

Clutching his fists, he left without even looking back.

I will wait until the day you acknowledge your emotions, no matter what you say.

Did he just walk away?just like that?I wiped away my tears—I realized later that I was crying—and went to serve them without saying anything.

Yumna:
Finally these two are back I gestured to Imran's friends to begin snacking and sipping coffee, as they have a strong affinity for the beverage. I made some coffee for the elderly, and Aisha took care of them as they were sitting on the balcony.

However, when Aisha returned, he was just being a complete moron, which made me scowl at his demeanor. I assume he despises her greatly because he was just staring at her.

It is time to resume playing matchmaker.

I caught a glimpse of Imran, who appeared to be in pain as he touched his head and had red eyes from staring at me, but he assured me that everything was well.
*****
Yakub:Are you okay, Imran?

Hamza: Is this the headache?

Hamza: Do not let work stress you out.

Yakub: Indeed, as I constantly reminding our friend, work comes first for him.

Imran: Do not worry, I will take some panadol or another pain reliever and it will pass. I am fine.

Since they were spending their time with Imran, I decided to leave them alone, but what is wrong with him?My dear brother and I need to talk and get checked out because I have never seen him like that.
