THE TEARS DIDN'T STOP and it was the only time that the StoryBrooke group had seen the immortal boy so broken and showing actual human emotion.

"We have to do something. We can fix," Regina insisted as she knelt down beside her daughter, trying to take her away from Pan's grasp.

Pan looked up and glared at her. "Get away from my daughter."

"Excuse me. Your daughter? You left her, remember? And I'm her mother legally. You have no rights to her anymore."

She went to take Melody again but Emma stopped her.

"Just leave him be Regina."

Everyone was surprised by the blonde's words but no one argued. Regina glared at Emma and stood back up, looking down at Pan with anger. Mother Superior ran to the scene with Tinker Bell behind her.

"What's going on?" Mother Superior asked. She saw Melody in Pan's arms and gasped. "Oh my goodness. Is she alright?"

Pan looked up at her with anger. "Does she look ok?!"

Mother Superior flinched back but then sighed and bent down. She hovered her hand above Melody's forehead and Pan pushed her hand away from his daughter.

"What are you doing?" he hissed.

"Seeing what she did. And seeing if she's even alive," Mother Superior replied calmly.

Pan said nothing for a moment then nodded. Felix put a hand on his shoulder comfortingly and Pan looked up at him with tears. The immortal boy squeezed his hand and looked back down at his daughter as Mother Superior over Melody's forehead. Everyone watched with anxious looks as the fairy removed her head with a frantic expression.

"Call the hospital quick. She's hanging by a thread," she revealed.

Emma quickly got out her phone and everyone watched with worried looks. Melody had a chance of dying.

"What did she do?" Hook asked Mother Superior.

"She cast a very powerful spell. She saved Pan, stopped the curse, all in one spell," she told him.

"What was her price?" Regina asked fearfully.

"Well, since the spell was so powerful, she lost her memories of who we all are, who she is. And her magic is gone, but over time, it should come back."

Pan shook his head, another tear leaving his eye. "She won't remember me."

"I can make a potion that can restore her memory but not her magic, that will take time. And making the potion will also take time," Mother Superior told the immortal boy.

"I don't care how long it takes for her magic to come back. I just want her memories back and for her to be ok."

"And she will be," Emma promised as she got off the phone. "They're on their way right now."

As soon as Emma finished her sentence, an ambulance sounded and due to their location, it only took a few seconds for the vehicle to round the corner and to come rushing toward them. One man and one woman got out of the car in a rush and got a stretcher out of the back. Pan picked Melody up and put her on the stretcher.

"Only three people are allowed to ride to the hospital with Melody," the man told them looking at the StoryBrooke gang.

"I will," everyone said at the same time.

"Let Pan and Regina go," Mary Margaret said. She looked toward Felix who was standing next to Pan, holding the boy's hand in comfort. "And Felix can go with them."

No one argued and the three selected people got into the back of the ambulance.

"Melody will be ok right," Henry stuttered as he wiped his tears.

"I hope so kid," Emma replied, rubbing his shoulders with tears falling from her eyes.

"Come on, we can take the truck to the hospital," David told them.

The rest of the remaining gang hopped into the truck and David drove off to the hospital.

The man hooked Melody up to a breathing machine and sat down on the seat on the side of the stretcher. Regina sat away from Pan and Felix and held her daughter's hand.

"So who are the three of you to Melody?" the man asked, taking out a clipboard with a paper attached.

Regina glared. "My daughter is on the verge of dying and you're asking me who I am to her? You should know, I'm the mayor and her mother."

"I'm her father," Pan told the man. Then he indicated to Felix. "He's my... friend."

Felix felt a small blush on his cheeks and the man looked at Regina and Pan.

"Isn't it a bit odd seeing as-"

"He's immortal ok? I adopted Melody in the Enchanted Forest when he abandoned her. That's all you need to know," Regina snapped.

The man nodded, not bothering to argue with the ex-queen. The car stopped and the man and the woman exited, pulling Melody's stretcher out of the ambulance and into the emergency entrance.

"Are we allowed to stay with her?" Pan asked.

"No, I'm afraid-"

"Too bad. I'm staying with my daughter or you and me or going to have some problems. Got it?"

The man nodded again, realizing that the three weren't going to be leaving the young girl anytime soon.

"We can already tell she's in critical condition. Magic would be risky. We need to run a few test to make sure no bones are broken and such," the woman told them.

The three didn't say anything as the man continued to push the stretcher. He led them to a room with a CT Scanner.

Pan didn't know what it was and his eyebrows furrowed.

"What the hell is that?" he asked Regina.

Regina glared at him but answered.

"It's a CT Scanner."

"Will it hurt her?"

"Do you think I would be letting them put her through the scanner if it did?" Regina asked him incredulously.

Pan glared at her but Felix kept him from hurting the ex-queen. Regina looked over at Melody as the scanner started scanning her, and her eyes softened as tears filled them.

"I didn't mean for any of this to happen." Then she shook her head, whipping her head to Pan. "No, this isn't my fault. It's yours."

"No, I believe it is yours, Evil Queen. If you would've just let me take your son's heart this would've never happened," Pan argued.

They started bickering back and forth and Felix held Pan back. Emma came into the room with red eyes.

"Hey!" Emma yelled, getting Regina's and Pan's attention. "It's both of your faults ok? How can you guys even be arguing when your daughter is dying?!"

They both looked down ashamed.

"Sorry," they both mumbled.

Felix let go of Pan and grabbed the immortal boy's hand again. Pan gave him a grateful look and Dr. Whale entered the room, walking over to the CT Scanner that had just finished.

"Looks like her left leg is broken. But other than that she's good. Just all the power she used drained her to an extent," Dr. Whale told them as he looked at the scans.

"So she'll be ok?" Pan said hopefully.

The doctor turned to them. "Yes, she will be. But as Mother Superior said, her magic and her memory are gone as of right now. Gold and Tinker Bell are helping her right now with making the potion to restore her memories."

"Will it work just like with Belle?" Emma asked, referring to when Belle was Lacey.

"Yes."

"Well, what happens now?" Felix asked.

"We already have a room reserved for her and we will keep her here at the hospital till the potion is complete and she remembers. It's just a precaution."

"Can we stay with her?" Regina asked.

"You can if you would like, but taking what happened to Belle for instance when she lost her memory, I would try and be very careful with her. And Melody is still a young so she will be even timider."

Emma sighed in relief. "I'll tell the others the good news. You two can stay with Melody, I'll take care of Henry."

"Thank you, Emma," Regina complimented.

Emma looked surprised for a moment then nodded when she understood how Regina felt. They were both in this situation once before. She exited the room and Dr. Whale pushed Melody's stretcher to her reserved room. Pan and Felix sat on the couch while Regina stood near her bed as Dr. Whale and a nurse hooked Melody up to several machines.

"We will be putting a cast on her leg. So make sure she is very careful with that. One of the nurses will be coming in her twice a day to ask Melody some questions and give her some pain medicine since she will be drained and in pain for a while," Whale explained.

Pan looked over at Melody who she laid in the hospital bed, still unconscious, with sad eyes.

"The cafeteria is always open so if she or the two of you ever get hungry just call this number attached to the phone. We are putting her on a specific diet, this is so her energy will increase and it might help with her recovery. If you have any questions just let me know," Whale said and then nodded to the three, leaving the room.

Pan got up and sat on the hospital bed beside Melody. Regina watched him with angry eyes. She blamed him. A tear ran down his cheek and he kissed her forehead. Felix smiled sadly at Pan's action. And then all of a sudden, Melody gasped and sprang up, her eyes opening.

"Melody?!" they exclaimed.

Regina rushed over and Melody screamed. Pan smoothed her hair down, trying to calm her down.

"It's ok. Shh, you're ok," Pan said softly.

Melody looked at them fearfully and tried to move away but only yelled in pain.

"Wh-who are you?" she asked.

Regina and Pan both fought the tears and Felix rubbed Pan's arm.

"I-I'm Regina. This is Pan," Regina introduced.

None of them could believe it. Yes, they knew that Melody would lose her memories, but seeing it happen, it just was too hard.

"Pan?" Melody repeated confused. "Is that nickname?"

Pan and Felix laughed slightly.

"Yeah. I guess you can say that," Pan told her, forcing the tears away.

"Wh-what hap-happened?" she asked.

"You were in a car accident. And you broke your leg," Regina lied.

"O-oh." The girl's face fell and she looked at them. "Where's my mom and dad?"

"We don't know sweetheart."

Melody looked down and said nothing. Her mind felt fuzzy. The pain in her leg was strong and she winced. Everything felt odd and nothing made sense. Why was she here? Who were these people and why were they here with her?

"Are you hungry?" Pan asked, startling her from her thoughts

Melody shook her head. "No, I'm fine thanks."

There was a knock at the door and Emma, Hook, Henry, Mary Magaret, and David walked into the room. The girl's heart sped up and she slowly pushed herself to the back of the hospital bed, trying not to hurt herself. Regina went to reach for her to calm her down.

"Melody it's fine-" Regina started.

"Why do you keep calling me Melody! Who's Melody?" Melody yelled.

She started to cry in fear and she hid in her hands, trying to move away even more from them. Tears pricked her eyes and Henry felt a tear travel down his cheek.

"She really doesn't remember," he whispered.

"No," Emma told him, rubbing his arm.

"We'll just go then," Hook said as he and the others turned and left.

Melody curled up on the hospital bed, facing away from Pan and Regina.

"It's going to be-" Pan started.

"Please. Please just... leave me alone. Go away," Melody pleaded, whispering though they heard her.

Pan felt the tears again and nodded, even though she couldn't see it.

"We'll go," he told her.

The three left the room and as soon as they exited, Regina burst into tears and ran down the hallway. Pan turned back around and meet Melody's eyes as she looked at him, then she turned on her other side away from him. A tear fell down his cheek and he wiped it and closed the door.

Felix saw his broken face and watched as the one person he had learned to know was always strong, fell to the floor and sobbed. The second in command fell down beside him and wrapped his arms around him.

Pan didn't know what he was going to do. What if the Blue Fairy couldn't make the potion and Melody was stuck like this forever? Never remembering who her family is. That wasn't an option, he refused to think so.

And he couldn't help but feel comfort, being in Felix's arms. He was the one person who he had trusted with everyone, though he did keep the truth about Melody's abandonment a secret.

"I'm sorry, Felix. I shouldn't have kept the truth from you-"

"Don't apologize. And don't worry about the rest of them. I won't let them take her away from you."

Pan hugged him back and smiled slightly. Maybe, just maybe...

Love wasn't weakness after all

I just wanted to point out that the result of the spell was that Pan stays immortal and everyone in town doesn't age beside the people who are 18-years-old and younger. And then once they reach the age of 18, they stop aging.

I know it's kinda weird but I thought it weird if they age.
