maya's full name is maya shetty. yes, she's a kannadiga. more like half-kannadiga and half-tamil (father is from karnataka and mother is from tamil nadu)

adhi's full name is adhitya ram. he's three-fourth-tamilian and one-fourth malayali (maternal grandmother is from kerala)

maya have always thought that computer science students are nerds and they don't know how to enjoy life. but after meeting adhi, her perspective on cs students changed.

on one fine day, they were caught kissing each other inside the campus by a professor and they both were suspended for a week. luckily it didn't affect their placement and grades.

in the sports fest (after a year of the story timeline, that is, when they were in the fourth year), they both participated in the chess competition. the finals was between civil and cs. and maya and adhi were the opponents. but they didn't let their personal relationship come in between their game. the game was finally won by maya.

they started sharing the same bedroom (maya's bedroom). and everytime adhi's parents called him, he had to rush to his room to pick up the call.

they took a graduation pic together and had framed it (it was a pic of them kissing in their graduation dress).

after their final year, both of them got placed in some of the top companies. maya got placed in her dream company in france while adhi got placed in a top company in the usa. they had to go into a long distance relationship because of their work.

after around four years of their ldr, they came back to india and got married and continued working in india together.

they had a twin, a boy, Ashish and a girl, Anu. both of them were as naughty as their parents and it was one hell of a task to pacify the babies.
