Sharks POV:

I couldn't get the human captain boy out of my head..
'I mean I did kinda find him attractive..No No!..We can't fall in love with humans..'
I sigh floating above the water with my tail swishing a little..I also had my eyes closed while lost in thought..I didn't know my name was called and that someone jumped in the water coming to me..
Until I was picked up from my waist This caused me to open my eyes quickly and do a small squeak as whoever grabbed me Spun us in circles in the water..
I looked to see that it was sabre with his hands on my waist and that he was lifting me up not caring that he was now wet from the ocean.

"U-um..What a-are you d-d-doing?"

"Well since you couldn't hear me calling your name I decided to come and snap you out of your thoughts."

"O-oh.."

"OOOOOOO SABRE GONNA GET SOME MERMAN TONIGHT!!"

I saw sabre glare at moose as it was morning and we are waiting for brick boss to get here..But as soon as moose said that I blushed Bright red And got free from sabre grip diving under water and swimming away But from the corner of my eye I saw my two besties glare at the humans before swimming after me..I soon stop at a small cave me and my friends hang out at.

"Hey shark buddy you okay?"

"Y-yeah..."

"I can't believe he said that Us Mer cant be with Humans! And We barely Met yesterday!!"

"C-calm down goldy.."

"Sorry.."

"Its okay..But we still gotta be careful around them..They can be lying to us and wants us to follow there wale called 'ship' so they can capture us.."

Sabre POV:

I sighed in relief when those merman and mermaid left and looked back at my friends.

"For those three we can get four big chests Full of gold and Since that female one is a princess we may get way more if her father wants her back."

"I don't know...I mean do we have to trick,capture them and hand them over to the enemies.."

"Well if we do this we won't be enemies anymore and My crew will have a better ship and home to live In."

"B-but..I agree with Unicorn...those merFolk saved us and where..Just gonna use them for money..And sell them to beasts.."

"T-tina..Unicorn..We have to do this I know it sucks Tricking them and capturing them but there just our enemies as well just merfolk Plus we barely met them so they ain't important to us.."

They just nod there heads silently and right when they do that the three Merfolk popped there heads out of the water..The girl one smiling,The boy one with orange hair by her playing with something in his hands..And the boy one named shark stayed in the far back looking unsure as if he doesn't trust us..Oh no..I hope he doesn't find out or we won't have no money And still be enemies with the other kingdom of the Prince..
That shark boy may be a little harder to catch seeing he doesn't really trust us humans..
Right when we were about to talk Our friends ship came causing the merfolk to hide in the water not being seen.

Goldy(NeW PoV):

We where following the whale named 'ship' me and nate trusted the humans while our friend shark..Stayed away for a bit..Still not sure of he can trust them..I mean I understand why because of what happened in the past so its fine with me.
While swimming under the whale me and my friends where joking around

"Knock Knock"

"Come in!"

"No Shark..That's not..you know what never mind.."

"Hey guys..."

"Yeah goldy?"

"Hm?"

"I feel like the humans are hiding something from us and it ain't good.."

"You think so to?!"

"Yeah..what about you shark?"

"I've been suspicious and think something is gonna happen so be careful and don't get close to those humans.."

"I hope nothing happens..I kinda have a crush on the prince boy.."

"I have a huge crush on the dork moose.."

"What about you shark?"

"I maybe...Have..a crush on...The captain..Sabre.."

I was gonna scream of excitement but shark and nate covered my mouth so no noise came out But as soon as I calmed they let go I was very happy but then my smile dropped they noticed and asked

"Goldy what's wrong?"

"I'm gonna be so heartbroken if they betray us..."

"Same with us...but if they do we must promise each other to stay silent and never trust a human again..?"

"Promise"

Shark smiled as we all promised each other And noticed the boat came to a stop at some island with big looking caves except not caves..Kinda like homes like merfolk homes but different and they have a long brown pathway that sounds like creaking we say as they stepped onto it and soon afterwards some other people that looked like 'pirates' or so they called themselves stand behind them with weird looking Plastic glass boxes and nets?

"COME ON OUT SHARK,GOLDY AND NATE!!"

We looked at each other and slowly popped our heads out the water looking at sabre in confusion all he did was snap his fingers and nets flung around me and nate first while shark dodged his he tried helping us escape the nets to only get stabbed in the tail with a metal looking hook..

Sharks pov:

I got stabbed in my tail with a metal iron hook just like how my mother did when I was young..
I screamed in so much pain And felt more pain as the different pirates dragged me up on the deck I was struggling and bleeding out from my tail..
I see my two besties get dragged up as they watch in fear at me bleeding out and crying out in pain we then turned our heads tears falling down when we heard yells looking at sabre and his friends..

"I SAID NOT TO HURT THEM!!"

"Eh..Well here is your money and plus I can hurt them all I want they are now mine."

"Y-you guys..Betrayed us..we..t-trusted you.."

I looked to see that my friend goldy was sobbing and hugging nate close to her I saw Unicorn try stepping forward and touch her shoulder But I quickly turned whacking him hard with my tail ignoring as the iron hook went out my tail making me bleed out more..i saw Unicorn fall off the deck into the water..i hit him pretty hard me might have a big wound..I looked at sabre and the others when unicorn came back up holding his stomach I had pure hatred in my eyes and when I spoke it had venom in it making them flinch at my harshness

"Never. go Near.Touch Or talk To us Again You disgusting beasts."

I know that I'm free from the hook and can escape but I can't leave my friends and is bleeding out to much I feel my vision getting blurry and my head hit the floor hard..
I can hear goldy and nate yelling my name as my breathing slowed and in my mind I thought..
'Is this how I die...and my father was right..I lead my friends to there deaths..'
I felt tears escape my eyes even with them closed I also felt something bandage around my leg and being tossed into water..except not the ocean..Probably that glass box the people we been sold to had..I then felt hands quickly go to me and heard goldy and nate shake me i think trying to wake me?
I'm so happy they are with me in the same box thing so We can always stick together..but I don't wanna die...
I then slowly open my eyes and open it to see us getting far away from sabre and the others..They where....Crying?
Why where they crying they did this So there was no reason to feel bad Those..beasts..

"S-shark Buddy s-stay awake!"

"I-im up...There is no w-way i-im leaving...Y-y-you guys a-alone..Y-your my besties..."

"N-never again will w-we trust humans..."

"Agreed.."

"I t-thought..We c-could trust t-them.."

"Its okay g-goldy its not y-your fault..."

I then cuddled up with my friends as we fell asleep...Not caring that Our 'master' is bringing us to the kingdom and already has one big tank in the middle of the Main room To where he will put us to show us off and say
'Look at the last mermaid and mermen My beautiful pets.'
Yeah first of all we ain't pets but know we couldn't do anything about it and thankfully we have Mer talk so only our kind can understand
Also we ain't the last mermaids and men We just lied to him saying we were and if we aren't then we never seen any others yet..
He believed us that Idiot..

~~time skip(week later)~~

Its been a week...Since we been stuck in this palace..Well big tank that's in the palace..My tail has healed and its been told that the king,Queen and Two kids Princess and prince Will be having a Ball or party whatever they call it..
Me and my friends don't care as long as the humans don't try messing with us..I remember That the prince grabbed my friend goldy arm and tried kissing her but I got there in time and smacked him with my tail causing him to fall off the wood latter that he used to get up to our huge tank and hit the ground I then grabbed my friend arm and swam off going in our secret hiding spot with nate..

The party started We of course had to get out of hiding and swim around doing some tricks in the water if not then we will get in trouble from the king..
I was humming a song in the water so humans can hear..They love our singing of course and while humming a song I watched at goldy Instead of a seaweed bra she was a golden bra that is also like a golden dress..Quite beautiful in the water as if she is dancing while her dress twirls..The princess of the king gave goldy the dress She is friendly.
Anyway I watched as goldy and Nate danced to my song..
We always loved to pretend that we are free in the ocean And it works it makes us happy..Kinda..Until were back in reality
We continued entertaining people until five people in suits and a girl in a dress came In they also had some fancy masks..With bird feathers but different colors..they stopped at our tank and was watching us with awe..Well the purple suit guy was blushing at my friend goldy and we'll I'm very protective of my friends now after the incident and they are happy to be protected by me.
We didn't mind about the five people until they took off the masks looking at us..Well except one he had a bandana under his mask..Strange..They seem familiar..
Wait..I gasp as my friends turn around gasping and swimming off hiding in our secret hole..
And who we saw scared us..
We saw..
