NO ONE P.O.V

2 days had pass by and Jungkook didn't talk to Lisa for even a word. He avoid her no matter what. As soon as he sense her, he'll vanish.

Jungkook just walk at the garden today, he is not in the best mood yet of course, he didn't bother to show it. After a while of walking, rumbling sound could be heard at the bushes near him.

Jungkook : come out, your hiding had been bluffed

Someone suddenly come out from the bush, pouting. It's Irene, she hide in the bushes with cookies in her mouth and a plate of cookies in her hand.

She rub the back of her neck as she chuckle slightly, coming out from the bushes. There is an awkward silence between them for a moment before Irene say.

Irene : cookies?

Jungkook smile and nod his head before taking the cookies.

Jungkook : you bake it?

Irene smile cheekily.

Irene : well, yes. Why? Do you like it?

She ask, expecting jungkook to say it's delicious. Jungkook just smile at her.

Jungkook : no, it's salty.

He say as he put the cookies that he had bite back in the plate. Irene's smile fell as she look at him in disbelief. Jungkook turn his back from her and walk away.

Irene give him an offended look as she grab the cookies and taste it. It perfect, very perfect. Did he just lie to her?

Irene : yah! Wait!

She yell as she run to catch up with him who had been walking quite far from her. As she arrive beside him, she glare at him

Irene : it's fine! It's not salty!

Jungkook scoff.

Jungkook : I didn't told you to believe me.

He say as he took the cookies from her plate and bite it to half. Irene look at him dumbfounded.

Irene : no! Since you say it's salty, don't eat it.

She was about to snatch the cookies away but Jungkook back away causing her to stumble, she close her eyes, ready for the impact.

On instinct, Jungkook grab her waist and hold her, avoiding her from falling. The cookies had fall to the ground but Irene is frozen on the spot.

Her cheeks turn to deep shade of red as she notice how close jungkook is with her. Their face almost kissing.

Jungkook : we gonna stay like this or?

Upon realising that she had been staring she instantly stand up and let go of Jungkook's grip.

Irene : uh... Uh, thank you.

She stutter out. Jungkook just smile as he nod.

Jungkook : it's no big deal, actually I should thank you. I heard you saved me when I almost lose control.

Irene : well, I didn't do much. I'm just lucky that you pass out on time.

Jungkook : well, I want to offer a cup of tea as a sign of gratitude.

He offer. Irene look at him.

Irene : what if I don't want a cup of tea?

Jungkook raise his eyebrow in amusement.

Jungkook : then, what did you want?

Irene : I want to see your eyes.

Jungkook burst out into laughter, hearing her wish. He shake his head in amusement, she look at him in confusion.

As he suddenly pat her head. She widen her eyes as her cheek turn red once again by the sudden action. Jungkook smile teasingly at her. The smile that haven't come out for a while.

He feel good when smiling

Jungkook : you silly girl with your silly idea.

He say before walking away from her, Irene blink and pout before catching up with him while crossing her arm.

Irene : yah, I'm serious.

Jungkook hummed.

Irene : I'm serious!

Jungkook hummed once again.

Irene : I am very very serious!

Jungkook : I didn't say you're not.

He reply before winking her forehead. Making her stumble backwards and hold her forehead instantly.

She huff before deciding to follow jungkook for the entire day and bother him, where jungkook actually enjoy her company.

Both of them end up walking together while bickering with jungkook tease and annoy her. Not knowing that Lisa is there watching everything with her own eyes.

She didn't hear their conversation since it is far. She knew that jungkook will avoid her if he smell her. Yet today she saw that laughter that once filled the castle.

The laughter that always come out because of her. That laughter that she missed the most. He smile just like before but it wasn't because of her.

It because of Irene.

Lisa hold her chest, as she felt her heart getting heavy. Are we drifting apart? Why? What did we do wrong? She thought to herself.

Oblivious that her mate mark start to turn darker.

Jungkook enter his bedroom that night, he had been accompanied by Irene, the whole day. He is quite tired actually.

He just want a bath, a long hot bath and a long sleep. His body felt sore these days. Hot bath reduce it but it was still there. He pull away the bandage that are covering his eyes.

He was about to enter the bathroom when someone knock on his door. Jungkook sigh before muttering.

Jungkook : who's there?

No one answer. Jungkook frown, he put back the bandage on his eyes before walking towards the door and hold the knob.

He was about to open it but froze instantly when he caught the familiar scent. He gulp instantly, knowing who it was.

Lisa...

He pull away his hand from the knob, not wanting to meet her until her voice speak up.

Lisa : Jungkook...

...we need to talk.

Jungkook froze on his place hearing her words.

Lisa : things is too much right now. I don't understand. Let's talk this out.

Jungkook : there is nothing for us to talk about.

He said plainly, but behind does voice there's hidden hundreds of secrets and emotion. He was about to walk away from the door but her voice stop him once again

Lisa : it's for the kids.

Lisa look at her hand as she fidget her fingers.

Lisa : you said, you are holding out for the children, and I am doing the same. I'm holding out for them but this, is too much. We need to talk.

After a few moments of silence, Lisa thought that jungkook had left. She sigh in disappointment and was about to leave when the door swing open.

Jungkook : let's... Let's talk...
