NO ONE P.O.V

What's worse?

Finding out that all that we had been told about was nothing but a made-up lie?

or

Getting lie straight to your face and you can't do anything about it?

For Seokjin, it's both. To him, he felt like he is getting fooled either by Jungkook or Dae-Seong. He is currently in front of Dae-Seong's mansion, staring silently at the huge gate.

Seokjin wanted to know but he knows Dae-Seong wouldn't be honest with him. He is sly, Seokjin knows that cuz that's what a coward always becomes.

They become sly so they won't get caught.

Dae-Seong is not home, Seokjin knows that. Today, Dae-Seong and Mrs.Manoban want to proceed with the deal between the JOGEON enterprise and KIM cooperation.

They are rushing it. It's obvious, very obvious. Seokjin didn't really talk with Dae-Seong anymore. He is busy and so is Seokjin.

After a while sitting there, Seokjin walks away from the place silently.

Jisoo sits face to face with Jungkook. He just looks down on his lap. Ashamed, to look up and face her. "I'm sorry..." He mutter, Jisoo raises her eyebrow.

"For what?" She asks as Jungkook lift his gaze and stare at her in the eyes. "For getting you in this mess." He mutters as Jisoo nods "Yeah, you should."

Jungkook purse his lips silently, there is a moment of silence between them before Jisoo speaks up "Are you okay?" She asks as Jungkook slowly nod.

"Yeah... Of course, I'm fine." He mutter lowly but Jisoo didn't fail to notice the small hint of sadness in his voice. "Why..." She mutter, keeping her gaze on Jungkook.

"Why did you take the blame for yourself?" She asked as she got a sigh in return. Jungkook chuckled "Seokjin hyung, look up at Hanjae Hyung so much. Just like me. Hanjae is a hero to everyone."

"I want to let him die as a hero even if I will be the bad guy." He laughs, at himself. He feels that he sound so pathetic. "You're an idiot... You know?" Jisoo says.

Jungkook didn't say anything as he just nod as Jisoo just smile at him.

The press conference is quite noisy, the place was filled with a lot of politicians, journalists, and the media. Taehyung fixes his tie as he glances at Jennie who is sitting beside Dae-Seong.

The conference was about to begin as everyone take their place. Dae-Seong wants the deal to be made today no matter what. Oh, how desperate could he be?

Very desperate.

The speech is short, Mrs.Manoban barely even said anything. They just want to straight-sign the contract. Taehyung stares at the contract In front of him.

He glance at Mrs.Manoban who had a smile plastered on her face. She signs the contract before turning towards Taehyung, urging him to sign the contract quickly.

Taehyung glances at Dae-Seong before averting his gaze towards Jennie who nods at him. Taehyung look back at the contract and was about to sign it until a voice boomed towards the place

"This deal is invalid!" All of them turn to the owner of the voice. "What is it this time?" Dae-Seong grumbles in annoyance. Mrs.Manoban stands up from her seat.

Lee Joong gi

"Chairman Lee? What is this bold move?" Mrs.Manoban asks Joong gi who stares at her intensely. "I am the one who should be asking you that."

FLASHBACK

"Chairman Lee Joong gi?" Taehyung asks in confusion why Jimin mention the famous CEO. "He is a famous CEO, I bet he had related to your company right?"

Lisa nod swiftly, "yes, he is one of the shareholders of my company and one of the best partners for my late father." She admits as Jimin snap his finger and smile.

"Bingo." He says. "So you want the chairman to disagree with the deal?" Felix guesses as Jimin nods. "And how are you gonna do that?" Jennie ask. Jimin looks at her and smiles.

"I have away."

"You want me to stop the agreement? Why?" Joong gi asks in surprise at Jimin's request. Jimin purse his lips "please, chairman Lee. Please do me this favor."

Joong gi stares at jimin. "Your favor is very heavy." He state but a voice speak up. "It's not really that heavy." Joong gi turns to the voice.

He widens his eyes and stands up almost instantly. "Chairwoman Lisa!" He mutters in surprise, Lisa just nods at him. "If you're alive then..."

Lisa nod, confirming whatever is he thinking. "The deal is illegal, even if I was dead, she have to wait for 6 months since I didn't put the company under her name."

Lisa look at Joong gi in the eyes. "Please help us this once. I couldn't tell you why is this happening but I promise you, this is for the best."

Joong gi keeps silent for a moment before sighing and nodding his head. He glances at Jimin and Lisa before smiling.

"I'll help you guys."

PRESENT TIME

"The company was never yours! You are not required to proceed with the deal!" Joong gi argues. Mrs.Manoban glances around as people start whispering to each other.

"What? I'm the rightful owner. She had put my name before she dies." She says trying to look innocent. Joong gi scoff, as a group of police, enter the building with a prosecutor

The prosecutor steps forwards and pulls out an arrest warrant "Mrs.Manoban you are under arrest for bribery, illegal activities, and attempted murder."

A gasp could be heard across the room "arrest her." The prosecutor demanded as the officer starts rushing towards her. They grab her wrist and cuffed her

She looks at her cuffed hand in shock at how fast does everything happened. When she felt herself getting pulled, she start trashing and screaming.

"I'm not guilty! Let me go!" She looks around and her gaze lends on a sit where Dae-Seong was supposed to be but the male is no longer there.

She widens her eyes in terror. "Dae-Seong! You bastard! Just wait, you'll pay for this!" Those media start surrounding her.

Some even surround Joong gi as the well-known chairman got escorted by the prosecutor to be made a witness.

Taehyung blink at what just happens when Jennie suddenly tap his shoulder. He looks at her and she smiles at him. "That's it?" He ask as he couldn't believe that he actually got free.

"Just a little bit more. My father got angry so he rush back home. Yugyeom will get him in a few hours." Jennie said with a smile plastered on her face.

Taehyung rubs his face and pushes his hair to the back. He took a deep breath as he felt so happy to be free from the bastard's grasp.

"Let just hope that everything will end well."

Jisoo step out of the lift as soon as the lift door had opened. She walks past the receptionist towards the door when a group of police enters the building.

Jisoo frown upon realizing one of the people. "Suho?" She calls out almost instantly. Suho turns towards Jisoo and pulls out an arrest warrant.

"Miss.Kim, Chairman Kim is under arrest due to a conspiration with terrorists and involved in an illegal contract." Jisoo looks at the warrant in surprise.

Jisoo gulp as Suho hand her the warrant and walk past her with the police following soon after. Agents start whispering to each other as Jisoo stood there frozen

Suddenly a group of agents rushes towards her while panicking. "What's wrong with you?" She asks in concern seeing the agent's drained face.

"The prisoner, JK... He disappears!"

Suho burst in towards Seokjin's office. He looks around only to find the room empty. Suho frowned "where is he?" He mutters to himself.

"Sir... I think... You should see this." One of the officers calls for him. Suho turns towards the officer and walks towards him to the table.

He frowns seeing a bullet on the table. The bullet is on top of a paper. He grabbed the bullet and analyze it.

It's real...

He thought to himself before putting the bullet away. He grabbed the paper and read it. The only words that left his lips is...

"What the hell..."

Two guards are between Jungkook. They are escorting him back to his cell. Jungkook ain't complaining so he just follows them obediently.

But Jungkook suddenly felt uneasy with the two guards with him. He glances to his left at the guard that is walking silently not noticing how the guards on his right pull out a handkerchief.

Catching him off guard, the soft fabric suddenly went over his mouth and nose. He wanted to scream but failed when the other guard suddenly slam him to the wall.

Locking him on the spot, Jungkook inhales the substance on his face. His vision got blurry as he slowly stop struggling and slide to the ground.

He fall to the ground. Dizziness engulfs him as he struggles to keep his eyes open. He heard a footstep nearby him. "Sorry on this one... Jungkook." Jungkook looks up at the person.

Seokjin...

That is all that he managed to think before everything turned black.

He passes out.
