Jungkook open his eyes. He look around. He is in the middle of the forest, beside him was a river. He could hear the water flowing along it.

He look around again. It's dark. Lifeless. Empty. Scary. Deadly.

??? : Just like you...

His head snap to the owner of the voice. He saw someone standing across the river. Black eyes, black veins...

Demons

Jungkook : where the fuck am I?

Jungkook growl out but the demon just laugh.

??? : You ask me? You came here by yourself.

Jungkook frown.

Jungkook stare at the demon. Why would he came here?

The demon disappear and appear infront of him

??? : Or maybe you really want to

Upon seeing the demon Infront of him. He raise his fist to punch him but the male disappear and went back to his position across the river.

Jungkook : *growl* cut the bullshit. What the fuck do you want from me?!

The demon let out a laugh.

??? : Go back home, Jeon. Your journey is still far, we'll see it later. The person you care for the most are meeting the angel of death(grim reaper)

The person I care for the most? Mother!

Jungkook : what the hell did you do to my mother?!

The demon didn't say anything but stare at him with the evil grin on his lips.

Jungkook jolt awake. Eyes wide open as he look at the person Infront of him that are holding him down.

Jungkook : B-Bang Chan?

Bang Chan nod his head and let jungkook go. Jungkook slowly sit up as he scan around the place. He saw a few other male that are at the end of the room.

Seemingly scared. Jungkook look back at bang Chan.

Jungkook : h-how am I here? What happen? Where am I?

Bang Chan : I don't know what exactly happen but...

Flashback

Bang Chan walk at the park. It's 4 in the morning and he find himself smoking again. He huff, feeling pathetic.

That is the only time he can come to the park or else people will start attacking him for no reason.

He walk towards the normal place that he usually go. Before he could arrive at the place he saw a figure laying on the ground. He frown.

He take a step closer to get a better look of the figure. When he saw the face his eyes widen.

Bang Chan : Jungkook!

He ran towards the male and shake him. Jungkook didn't respond. Bang Chan want to bring him back to the castle but with him being a vampire bringing the injured Future Queen's mate, it will not be the best idea.

He hesitate. But seeing jungkook injured state he decide to bring jungkook to his and his brother's house. Their nest. He pick jungkook up and quickly leave the area.

End of flashback

Bang Chan : that's what happen.

Jungkook : how long am I out?

Bang Chan : two days.

Jungkook widen his eyes and look at bang Chan in shock.

Jungkook : my mother...

Bang Chan : what?

Jungkook suddenly struggle to stand up leaving everyone in the room panicked. Jungkook hissed in pain as he clutch his stomach.

He look down and saw that it was already bandage. What the fuck happen that night?! He ask himself.

Bang Chan : easy man... Your wound will re open.

Jungkook : I need to get back to the castle...

Bang Chan : what? You're still-

Jungkook : NOW!!!

Jungkook snap as his eyes turn red. Bang Chan flinch when he saw jungkook's eyes he step back in caution as he defend his brothers.

Noticing their reaction jungkook close his eyes rubbing his forehead, trying his best not to lash out or hurt anybody.

Jungkook : I'm sorry... I know you must be confuse but I really need to go back to the castle. Please... Bring me there.

Jungkook ask desperately. Bang Chan hesitates but seeing jungkook's desperate situation he couldn't help but to pity him.

Bang Chan : please don't harm my brother.

Jungkook : I won't... I promise...

Bang Chan : Felix... Get the car...

Lisa : any news?

Lisa ask as soon as Taehyung and Jackson enter the throne room. Both of them slowly shake their head. Lisa sigh disappointed. She sit down rubbing her face.

Yugyeom bite his bottom lips as he hug his sister, namjoon comforting his mate as Hoseok comfort y/n. The queen wipe her tears away as the king seem to be in a deep thought.

They just came back from mrs.kim funeral. She was found dead with a huge claw mark on her stomach. Jungkook had been missing for 3 days.

Lisa is losing her mind. She barely sleep, no. She don't sleep at all. None of them did. Yoongi pass out when he arrive and still recovering in one of the room.

She felt frustrated, devastated, exhausted, and very stress. She felt stupid. She can't even locate jungkook through the bond. He is confused.

The room are silent as everybody seem to be in a deep thought. Not long enough beom-gyu and Yeonjun burst in the throne room, panting.

Yeonjun : m-master Jeon, he- he is back!

As the word left his mouth all attention goes to him. Lisa stand up, shocked and relief and somehow terrified.

Beom-gyu : b-but-

Yeonjun : he is almost losing his human sense! He enter the castle and scream for mrs.kim soon after. The others try to stop him and Taehyun already evacuate everybody.

Lisa didn't waste anytime and left the throne room. The others follow after but before the king could leave beom-gyu speak.

Beom-gyu : my king. A group of vampire came with master Jeon. Please don't harm them, master Jeon will kill anybody who harm the vampires.

The king : just prepare the guards.

He said and leave to follow the others. Lisa on the other side already went to jungkook who seem running around the castle.

Entering each room and went to another. Dark magic visible around the hall. Coming from her mate. She instantly went to jungkook and grab his arm.

Jungkook look at Lisa instantly. Lisa stare in his eyes and gulp upon noticing the red colour in it.

Lisa : jungkook-ah! Where have you been?!?

Jungkook : where's my mother?!

Jungkook ask making Lisa gulp. He's not stable, telling him what had happen probably is a dead wish. But he deserve to know.

Jungkook : Lalisa! Where is my mom?!?!

Tzuyu : she's dead!!!

Tzuyu scream out as she break down again. Jungkook froze trying to process those two words. He blink in disbelief.

Jungkook : w-what?

Yugyeom : where are you when they need you hyung?! Where are you?!

Yugyeom snap angrily. Lalisa hold jungkook trying to calm him down.

Lisa : jungkook- let's talk this out! Calm down!

Jungkook didn't respond Yugyeom went to him and lend a punch on his face making jungkook stumble backwards. Everybody widen their eyes.

Yugyeom want to punch him again but Lisa push him away. Taehyung and Jackson hold Yugyeom back.

Lisa : what is wrong with you?!

Yugyeom : *growl* I hate you!!! It's all your fault!!! Your fault!!!

Jungkook glare at Yugyeom with his red bloody eyes. Jungkook growl back angrily. Baring his fangs as a warning to Yugyeom.

Lisa push jungkook away. As he saw the male was about to jump on his brother.

Jungkook : *snarl* how dare you bare your fangs at me?!

Yugyeom : fuck off!!! I hate you!!! Just die!!!

Bambam : Yugyeom!!! Stop!!

Upon hearing bambam, Yugyeom fall on his knees and finally break down. Jungkook tremble in anger as he stare at his brother on the ground.

Hand turning into fist as he try his best to control his anger with every last human sense that he have. Lisa cup jungkook's cheek.

Lisa : calm down please!!! Please!!! Calm down!!!

Jungkook didn't heard her.

He felt deaf.

The only voice that he could heard is the demon's voice.

??? : The person that you care for the most are meeting the angel of death.

Jungkook : it's him... That demon...

Lisa : w-what?

Jungkook suddenly stare at Lisa in the eye. She flinch by the sudden look that he gave her. It terrified her. That stare...

Remind her of her nightmare.

She suddenly took a step back making everyone did the exact same thing. Jungkook suddenly sense something. He sniff the air.

He snarl in disapproval. He look back at Lisa staring straight to her soul. Her breath hitch when jungkook speak.

Jungkook : why... Is there a demon in the castle?

He asked as the killing intent visible in the air. Jungkook avert his gaze at the door at the end of the hall, where Yoongi is.

Lisa : J-jungkook let's talk this out.

Jungkook didn't answer. Instead he took a step towards the door.

The king : stop him...

He muttered to the guard.

The king : now!

The guard start surrounding the tribrid. Jungkook grit his teeth and clench his fist.

Jungkook : get out of my way...

None of them moved.

Taehyung : jungkook... Keep calm...

Jungkook : *growl* I said GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!

Jungkook jump on Taehyung who quickly get out of the way. Some of the guard try to hit him but Lisa stop them.

Lisa : don't hurt him!!!

Jimin glance at his mate.

Jimin : quick! Make him lost consciousness.

Rose quickly chant a spell. Jungkook throw the guards away and start attacking Taehyung who didn't last long in the fight as he got thrown to the wall.

Jennie : TAEHYUNG!!!

Rose : I can't reach his mind!!!

Rose said panicked. Hwasa quickly stand beside her and start chanting. Rose follow along.

Jungkook groan as he try to walk to Taehyung who are on the ground. He growl not liking the chant as it make him feel dizzy.

He turn his head towards the two witch and attack them with his dark magic. Both of them fall to the ground coughing out blood as their mate quickly went to them.

He avert back his gaze to Taehyung who are panting on the ground and took a step forward. Lisa run Infront of Taehyung blocking jungkook.

Lisa : stop!!! Come back to your sense!!! I'm your mate!! Come back to me! Please!!!

Jungkook keep silent for a moment. He suddenly form a sadistic grin and chuckle.

Jungkook : mate?

Lisa's eyes widen when jungkook suddenly choke her. Lisa gasp for air. Dark mist start engulfing around them

The queen : Lisa!!!

She tried to come nearer but the king pull her back.

The king : don't... This is a fight between them... She can make it. She will make it.

Lisa stare at Jungkook who stare back at her, grinning. She gasp for air as jungkook tighten his grip.

Lisa : you're not j-jungkook

He didn't say anything. Lisa knew that this is not jungkook. She believe jungkook will not harm. He would never harm her.

Jungkook : we will break him and rule the world.

Lisa struggle to breath as she try to hit jungkook. She close her eyes trying to think a way to get out from his grip. She wanted to live.

Protect.

Protect.

I want to protect...

Without her realising it a shining bright light appear from her chest. Blinding jungkook. He close his eyes as he hissed in pain.

I want to protect.

My people...

Family...

Friends...

Him...

I want to protect him...

The light become brighter every single second. The next moment they knew a sudden force of power blow the dark mist away and throw jungkook to the wall.

Lisa fall to the ground as everybody stare at her in shock. Her body is glowing white. As a symbol appear on her forehead. She breath heavily as she gasp for air.

The light slowly fade away. Jungkook groan in pain as he cough, but the cough turn bad as he cough aggressively. He slowly look up to meet their gaze.

He froze when his gaze lend on Lisa's gasping figure. The only word in his mind at the moment is...

I hurt her...

He slowly stand up making everyone stand on guard. He took a step forward.

She flinch...

Jungkook stand there stunned. His breath become heavy as he look down. Slowly took a step back he mutter a soft 'sorry' many time.

Lisa look at Jungkook who seem scared, no. Terrified...

Terrified of himself.

Shadow form around him. As he look down. Lisa was about to reach out to him when he say.

Jungkook : I'm sorry

He disappear.

Jungkook find himself at the ocean where he always go with his late sister. He find himself kneeling and crying alone. He felt pathetic.

Vulnerable.

He had nothing. He felt numb. He is a deity but He can't even protect his family. How can he protect the whole earth?!?!

Jungkook : why me?!?!? Why us?!?!? Why?!!

Tears keep flowing as he hit the ground. He just want this to end. End the pain. He want it to end. He felt like a monster.

He hurt Lisa.

He hurt his own family.

He grab his head and let out a scream of frustration. He want the voice to stop.

Someone hold his shoulder. He flinch by the sudden contact. Before he could even respond the person pull him into a warm hug.

The person caress his hair. Jungkook didn't push the person away. He felt calm, he felt at ease. He felt...

The sweet scent enter his sense. He close his eyes as he notice who the person is.

Lisa...

Lisa keep silent as she just hug him. Only both of them. Just them. Jungkook let out a silent tears as a flash of memory suddenly come in his mind.

Flashback

10 years old Jungkook sit at the bench in the garden staring at mrs.kim who walk towards him with a smile on her face.

She hold a stalk of rose. She sit beside jungkook as she admire the rose in her hands. Jungkook just stare at his mother.

Jungkook : mother...

Mrs.kim : hmm?

Jungkook : today... Namjoon hyung talk about 'mate' with me. Why does werewolf seem very excited to have a mate?

Mrs.kim chuckle as she look at the 10 years old.

Mrs.kim : hold this...

She hand jungkook the rose. Jungkook take it and stare at her confuse. She admire the rose then admire his face.

Mrs.kim : our mate is whom we called 'the one' a true love between us that will be there forever.

Jungkook tilt his head.

Jungkook : but my teacher say that 'mate' is just a bond. How do you know if they are 'the one' or no?

Mrs.kim smile. She look at the rose and pull one of the petal.

She take the rose from his hand and stare at it. She smile softly and turn to look at him.

A tear escape his eye as he slowly pull Lisa into a hug too. He cry silently as Lisa keep rubbing his back. Comforting him. He let out everything as his mind mutter.

She's the one....
