Crazy...

That is the only thing in Lisa's head since the morning. Everything that are happening are crazy. Kai is an alpha! A pureblood on that!

It's a suicide! How the fuck can jungkook defeat him???!!! She knows jungkook is a fighter. It's not like she doubt his skill or something.

But still... Her mate is doing something that can have a possible harm. Of course she don't want that. She had been begging jungkook to withdraw but to no avail he refuse

Jungkook : I'm not going to withdraw! He want a death battle so let it be! The end! We're not going to talk about this anymore! If you are going to continue arguing then get out from my room!

She leave the room and talk to her father to cancel the battle but her father just said

The king : I'm in no position to decide that. It's his battle and I can't do anything about it.

She is frustrated! Why should they fight for her?! Which part didn't Kai understand?!

She feel like crying since the battle is today. Worse... Jungkook didn't even have that much time to prepare.

She let out her feeling and talk to y/n and tzuyu about it yesterday. But y/n just say.

Y/n : have faith in him... You never seen him fight before. Defeating him might be almost impossible for someone to do it.

Lisa keep thinking of y/n's words to the point she wonder what is jungkook's rank in human community as a fighter. When she ask y/n just said.

Y/n : well, that's for him to know and for you to find out.

Now she is curious.

A warrior ?

A captain?

A colonel?

Impossible... Colonel is one of the strongest rank. They can take a group of alphas and a pureblood at once without getting injured badly.

Lisa sigh and shrug her thought as she walk to where jungkook is getting ready for the battle. She walk in the room.

There she saw her mate, back facing her while fixing his gloves. He is just wearing a simple black combat suit with no shield. Lisa walk to him and sit Infront of him

Jungkook who suddenly saw Lisa, look up as she took his hand into hers and start fixing the glove. She look like she wanted to cry but she hold it.

Jungkook just keep silent as he stare at her. Admiring her beautiful feature that somehow make his heart beat faster.

Lisa : you're going to be okay right?

Jungkook snap out from his thought and smile.

Jungkook : I'm going to be okay....

Lisa : promise?

She show him his pinky fingers. Jungkook chuckle and interwined his pinky finger with her's.

Jungkook : I promise.

They separate their fingers and look at each other in the eyes. Jungkook suddenly pull Lisa into a hug.

Jungkook : I love you...

Her breath hitch, he said the 3 words that she longed for from him. She feel like sobbing as they pull away.

Jungkook : don't cry... It's not like I'm gonna die aren't I ?

He joked. Lisa just keep silent. Jungkook know Lisa is scared but he ain't gonna let that stop him. He will show Lisa who he really is and what is he capable off.

Jungkook peck Lisa's lips. He then show her one last smile before standing up to go to the battle arena.

Suddenly he froze when Lisa grab his hand. He turn and look at her. Lisa stand up and smash her lips into his.

Jungkook was taken aback but he kiss back nonetheless. Kiss full of passion and love. They then pull away and connect their forehead together.

Lisa : I love you too

She whisper before letting jungkook go with a heavy heart. Jungkook soon leave the room to the battle arena. Lisa is getting a bad feeling but what could she do?

Nothing.

She let out a heavy sigh and walk out from the room to go to the place where they will watch the battle. The battle arena is like a stadium.

It's just the wall are very tall to avoid the fighter to jump and attack the audience. Only one door were on the walls. It is only used to go out and enter the arena.

The arena is just a field with no grass. Very wide and immune to any attack to avoid the arena to collapse.

Lisa walk on the hall that lead her straight to the audience area. As she walk there she somehow cross path with Kai. Lisa wanted to walk pass him and ignore him

But he is fast enough to grab her waist and pull her.

Kai : who are you thinking you are ignoring baby?

*Slap*

Lisa slap him. She let out a growl and a deadly glare.

Lisa : if something happen to him. I'll kill you myself.

She pull her hand away from him and walk away sassily. As she left the hall, Kai growl and whisper.

Kai : you'll be mine either you like it or no... Just wait... I'll kill him brutally for you...

Lisa enter the audience area. She walk and sit beside her mother who just give her a concern look.

There is no citizen. There is only the royal families and Jeon family there.

Hoseok and namjoon walk in the area a few second later as they sit down. Hoseok cross his legs and his face seems so serious.

Lisa lean and tap his shoulder. He look at Lisa and form an assuring smile.

Lisa : do you think that he stand a chance?

Hoseok scoff.

Hoseok : you can consider his dead...

Lisa's breath hitch as she start feeling stress. Hoseok notice this and say.

Hoseok : wait... 'he' you are saying is jungkook? Oh! I thought you refer to Kai. Well, Kai DON'T stand a chance against jungkook, princess...

Somehow all off the person there heard Hoseok. All of the gaze turn to him. Hwasa scoff and whisper loud enough for Hoseok to hear

Hwasa : idiot....

Hoseok : yah! You-

The king : mr.jung... as jungkook's fellow friend and partner. What is jungkook's rank in human community?

Hoseok : him? He is a general...

Kai's mother who are drinking her water suddenly choke and cough.

Lisa's eyes widen in shock so did others except for jungkook's family who are well aware of jungkook's rank.

Lisa glance at y/n who just wink at her.

Kai's mother : he is a GENERAL??!!!

A general, is the most powerful rank in human community for fighters. There is less than 10 of them in the world. One area that had a general is considered respected.

A general can take down two pureblood and a pack of alpha without any injuries if they are serious. People call them human with the strength of a hunter.

Hunter is the werewolf that have the ability to hunt and take down vampire and demons without much trouble. They can spot demon and vampire very easily.

In other words, Kai didn't stand a chance.

Hoseok : yeah... He is a general. Your son is totally fucked...

Kai's mother suddenly panicked as she look at her husband who have a stress look on his face.

Kai's mother : do something honey! Our son is going to die!

Kai's father just close his eyes in defeat. He can't do anything. Kai is the one who request for the battle.

Namjoon : they're here... It's starting...

All of them look at the arena. Where Kai and jungkook enter. As they enter the gate on the huge door closed.

Both of them went to their position as one of the servant show various type of weapon that jungkook can use.

The rules that were applied is:-

#Jungkook may use weapons but the weapons will be prepared.

#Kai can use his wolf ability but he is not allowed to transform into a full wolf.

#magic are forbidden.

#killing are allowed unless one of them surrender.

#no cheating.

Among all the weapon jungkook only pick one of them. A spear. A long spear with a long and sharp blade.

Both of them went to their position. The referee came and check on them. Making sure that they are clean.

The referee nod telling them that they are ready for the battle. The referee soon walk away from the arena.

The referee : the battle starts NOW!

Jungkook and Kai walk in circle. Jungkook is holding the spear upside down with his left hand. Sharp claw visible on Kai's hand as he growl.

Kai : I'm gonna kill you.

Jungkook : good luck...

Kai launch forward in full speed. Jungkook throw his spear in the air and slide under Kai. Kai stop and turn around and quickly attack jungkook with his claw.

Jungkook move backward a little as the claw pass from him just inch away from his neck. He grab the spear that fall to the ground gracefully.

Kai attack him many time but jungkook defend himself everytime using the spear. Jungkook have many time to attack back but oddly he didn't.

Kai notice this and he is starting to get angry. Jungkook are mocking him right now. Toying him around.

He jump backwards growling in the process. Jungkook smile amused with Kai's action. Jungkook then run towards him.
He swing the spear towards Kai.

Kai dodge as he slide to the right at the last moment but the things that happen later caught him off guard.

Jungkook suddenly change the spear position and hit the other end of the spear with no blade to Kai's stomach. Kai hump down in pain by the sudden hit.

He stumble backwards while clutching his stomach. He could hear jungkook scoff.

Jungkook : are you sure you're a pureblood alpha? You're very slow...

He mocked with a smirk on his face. Kai started to got blind with anger. As he attack jungkook wildly. Either jungkook dodge or jump backward.

Jungkook smirk liking how impulsive Kai is. Jungkook soon think that he had enough toying with Kai. He start attacking too.

*Slash*

Kai's right legs bleed. He stumble backwards looking at Jungkook with shock expression. He couldn't move.

Jungkook jump towards him and start attacking from various area. He could barely dodge it. Jungkook kick him in the chest making him hit the arena's wall.

He widen his eyes when jungkook's spear were just an inch away from his neck. One move and he will die.

Jungkook : game over kiddo...

Meanwhile at the audience area...

Hoseok : look, I've told you. He don't even try.

Yugyoem : yeah, yeah... We heard you hyung.

Tzuyu : so, it's the end? I wanna see more.

Namjoon : it's not the end... Look...

Jungkook were threatening Kai

Jungkook : surrender or die...

Kai gritted his teeth. He didn't have any option. But he is not going to let jungkook scratch his alpha's pride.

He growl but jungkook didn't budge.

Jungkook : you've chosen death...

Jungkook wanted to slice Kai's neck but

Kai's mom : NO! Sire!!! Have mercy on him! He is not like this before! I beg you on my knee! Kiss your legs and bow to you but please! Spare my son!!! I beg you!!!

Jungkook froze. Somehow feeling sad. He look at Kai who still have a glare on his face. Not wanting to surrender.

Jungkook : you should feel lucky that your mom love you a lot... I hope you will be more rational in the future... You'll find your mate soon, I'm sure of it.

Jungkook said coldly but the sincerity are there. But Kai didn't budge. The urge to kill jungkook is just growing bigger and bigger.

Jungkook saw the bloodlust in his eyes. He don't have any choice but to hurt his other legs. Paralyzing him...

Jungkook walk backwards then turn his back away from Kai. He walk away to exit the arena but Kai's sudden psychotic laugh stop him. He laugh like a mad man.

Kai : you think I will let you go just like that? Lisa is mine forever....

Jungkook glance at him and widen his eyes when a knife suddenly come on his ways. He barely dodge it as the knife scratch his cheeks causing it to bleed.

He stumble backwards as the knife suddenly fly back towards Kai. Kai grab the knife and grin smelling jungkook's blood on the knife.

Jungkook : what are you thinking you're doing?!

Jungkook yell. Meanwhile everyone on the audience area are shock.

Hwasa : how the hell?

Kai sniff jungkook's blood. His fangs suddenly grow and out of nowhere he bite himself causing his own arm to bleed. Jungkook who are watching widen his eyes.

Blood dropping out from his wound. Rose suddenly stand up.

Rose : your majesty, that knife... Is a demonic dagger.

Lisa : what?!

Kai suddenly drop his own blood on the knife mixing his and Jungkook's blood in the process. The knife suddenly surround with black smoke.

Jungkook : what the actual fuck?

Jungkook watch in horror. Hwasa suddenly realise.

Hwasa : wicked magic...

She whisper but loud enough for Lisa to hear. Hwasa stand up and shout.

Hwasa : jungkook!!! Leave the arena! Get out! It's wicked magic!

Jungkook who heard hwasa look at her.

JUNGKOOK P.O.V

Wicked magic?! I can't leave... Kai want to kill me so he will catch me. They will got hurt. Lisa will got hurt. I have to stop him. Kai are ready to stab the knife straight to his heart.

Kai : you will die Jeon!!!

NO ONE P.O.V

Jungkook run to him wanting to stop him. Lisa stand up, panicked and scream.

Lisa : JUNGKOOK! NO!!!

Too late. The knife were planted in his heart before jungkook could stab him. A sudden force appear and the next moment you know jungkook were thrown across the arena.

He hit his back on the wall and fall to the grown black smoke start surrounding. Jungkook and Hoseok suddenly cough out blood.

Tzuyu : jungkook oppa!

Yugyoem : Hoseok hyung! What's wrong?!

Namjoon : the wicked magic is too strong. Human sense can't take it.

Rose : your majesty, the wicked magic is oddly too strong. It not suppose to be like this!

Lisa : what the hell are you doing?! Open the gate and get my MATE!!!

She yell at the guard in anger. The king and queen look at the arena in worriedly.

They saw a black huge figure. Growling like a mad wolf but like a demon at the same time. Sharp canines with salvia dropping from it.

Eyes fully black like a demon. Standing on two feet. Long arm with black sharp nails on the fingers. Wicked magic radiating around it...

Kai's mom : impossible... My son hates demon... How could this happen?

Jungkook on the other side groan in pain as he try to stand up slowly but success nonetheless. Although it's painful but thankfully it was bearable.

He could feel hot liquid coming from his forehead so he belief that his forehead are bleeding. His blurry sight didn't help at all.

The beast stare and growl at Jungkook. The gate slowly open for the guard to enter but before any of them could do that the beast grab one of the huge stone that maybe as big as the gate and throw it to the gate direction.

Destroying the only way to come in and come out from the arena. Leaving jungkook stuck in the arena alone with the beast. Lisa panicked.

She wanted to jump to the ground and help jungkook but Jackson hold her back.

Lisa : yah! What are you doing?! Let me go! My mate need my help!

The king : don't be careless Lalisa! You're doing are just going to trouble jungkook sooner or later.

The queen : he is stuck in a critical situation. We must try to help him without adding any more trouble!

The queen glance at Kai's father.

The queen : can you reach out to your son?

Kai's father : I'm sorry your majesty, I suspect that my son are unconscious.

Rose : unconscious?

Hwasa : your majesty, the wicked magic must be controlled by someone either from inside or outside. I believe that something else is controling the beast.

The king : Jin, Taehyung, jimin and Namjoon grab all the guards and destroy the stone as soon as possible. Hwasa can you heal jungkook from up here?

Hwasa : I can't but maybe with rose help I could at least add his stamina to hold out...

The king : that's the best option. Tzuyu and yugyoem get the imperial doctor, we need to prepare for the worst. Now proceed!

Lisa were force to sit down. She is already crying. Y/n who are helping Hoseok make an eyes signal to him which he understand and nod.

He slowly stand up and walk out from the area. Y/n stand up and look at hwasa and rose who are trying their best to help jungkook. She then shout.

Y/n : JEON JUNGKOOK! LISTEN UP YOU COCONUTSHIT!!! YOU WILL HOLD OUT TILL THE END AND SURVIVE!! IF YOU DIE! I SWEAR THAT I WILL CURSE YOU TO LIVE AGAIN AND DIE IN MY HANDS!!!!

Jungkook who are hissing on the arena groan hearing y/n's voice.

Jungkook : this bitch... Are not helping...

He glance at y/n and smirk when he notice what does she mean. A few seconds later he find himself not having any problem in standing.

The beast Infront of him somehow still didn't move or do anything. So he decide to mock it.

Jungkook : come on you little piece of shit!

It growl loudly and run towards jungkook. Jungkook run towards the beast and slide under it. He didn't waste any time and stand up while quickly grab the spear.

He turn around and the exact moment the beast claw were Infront of him. He try to defend himself but he stumble backwards

Shit... Too strong.

He thought. It's surprise him. A pureblood alpha are not this strong. He snap out from his thought when he heard y/n shout.

Y/n : Jungkook! Behind you!!!

He look behind him and the next second you know he were punch till blood spit out from his mouth.

Too fast... what the hell?

This time it shock him. Not even a vampire are this fast. Kai is a werewolf. He fall to the ground and groan in pain

Lisa : jungkook!!!

Jungkook glance at Lisa and smile weakly...

Jungkook : I'm going to be okay

Lisa : promise?

Jungkook : I promise...

You promise... You MUST be okay... You can't break your promise.

She thought in her head as the memory come back. Jungkook on the battle field somehow heard whispering in his ears.

Maybe he is dying... Or losing too much blood... He look at Lisa again.

I must be okay... I've promise... I'm a man

The beast walk to jungkook and grab him by his neck. The beast bring him to the air making him choke and struggle to breath.

Lisa : NO!!! YOU BASTARD LET HIM GO!!!

The king : what is taking them so long?!!!

*Crack*

Finally there's a crack, on the stone. Jungkook were trying his best to hold out. It's painful... So painful and suffocating. Tears start to filled his eyes.

*Crack*

He must hold out... He must...

Hoseok : jungkook!!! Catch!!!

Jungkook glance at Hoseok who are at the audience area panting. He saw Hoseok throw something towards him. He notice it.

It is a ring. A ring that contain his official weapon, a high technology war weapon. Jungkook reach out his hand to grab the ring and luckily he grab it.

He press the button on the ring

*Crack*

The stone keep cracking, as the ring transform into a high technology spear. Jungkook didn't waste anytime and stab the weapon on the beast shoulder.

It didn't hurt it that much. So jungkook hit the button as an electric shock burst from the weapon to the beast body. The beast growl in pain and let jungkook go from its grip.

Jungkook fall to the ground panting and coughing. He stand up supporting himself using his spear but he didn't waste any time and quickly jump backwards as the beast started to get aggressive.

*Crash*

The stone crash to piece as a group of guards enter with namjoon, Taehyung, jimin and Jin.

Seeing the beast aggressive condition they quickly separate into four groups surrounding the beast. Jimin suddenly yell.

Jimin : rose! Now!

Rose who are on the audience area nod and start reading a spell. As she read it, an ancient words strated to form Infront of jimin.

A long big chain suddenly appear from it. Moving by itself as the chain start wrapping the aggressive beast who are still affected with the electric shock.

The chain forbid the beast to move as it keep on struggling to be set free.

Namjoon : hwasa!!! How can we kill it???

Hwasa : you must burn it!!!

Kai's mom : NO!!! DON'T KILL MY SON. There must be another way!

Hwasa : your majesty, there is no other way!

Lisa : there is another way...

LISA P.O.V

I don't want Kai to die like this no matter how much I want to tear him apart. There must be another way... Demonic dagger...

I've read about this. There is a way to break the wicked magic. What is it?! Come on...

Stab straight to the heart...

Heart...

Heart...

Core of darkness...

Heart...

Then it hit me...

Stab the heart to break the core of darkness. Destroy the dagger by stabbing the core of darkness!!!

Lisa : there is another way...

NO ONE P.O.V

All of them look at Lisa.

Lisa : stab his heart!!! Destroy the core of darkness! His heart area is the weakest spot and the core of the wicked magic!

Hearing that all of them look at each other. Wondering how can they get near the beast.

*Chain crack*

Rose : quick!!! The chain won't last longer!

All of them panick when the chain that are holding the beast hand were break through. The beast growl.

Jungkook : distract it!!! I will stab his heart!

Jungkook who are still panting command. The other didn't waste anytime and start distracting the beast. Making sure that the beast didn't saw jungkook.

Jungkook use every last energy that he had and aim his spear to the beast heart. He use all of his strength and throw the spear straight to the beast.

The spear stab the beast heart as the beast growl in pain. Wicked magic start surrounding again. Jungkook and Hoseok cough out blood again.

This time jungkook fall on his knees. The beast fall to the ground and reveal a half dead Kai. Totally damaged for using to much wicked magic.

The queen : medication team!!! Quick!!!.

Help start arriving as Lisa quickly run to the arena to meet her mate. Jimin and Jin quickly help jungkook as namjoon and Taehyung help Kai.

Jin : stay strong my lord... It's over...

The put jungkook on the stretcher as tzuyu came running to jungkook with a pack of blood in her hand. She inject jungkook's hand as he lost too much blood.

Lisa came running as Jin and jimin pick up jungkook with tzuyu beside him holding the blood pack.

Lisa run by jungkook's side and hold his hand. Jungkook squeeze it as a sign that everything will be okay.

Lisa slowly start crying and nod.

Lisa : you'll be okay...

Jungkook form a weak smile and slowly pass out...
