Down the rabbit whole of humans
"There just exhausted and starving, there mostly going to sleep and will eat light food when there awake," Harry told Toriel, the queen of monsterkind had rarely had to deal with human children. Toriel sipped her tea, a note pad in her hands where she was writing down information.
"Do they need feedings, like Asriel?" Toriel asked worriedly, she didn't know if she could produce the correct amount of magic for two monsters. She was powerful, but unlike Harry her monster types only produced one child at a time and unable to conceive till the child was weaned from the parents magic.
"No no, while human bodies can eat monster food filled with magic safely they do not feed off a parents magic. Most humans are magicless," Harry explained, sighing she began to explain the maturing process of humans.
"The human child takes a lot after skeletons, when do they take a gender since they don't have ecto?" Toriel asked, Harry stared her eye socket twitching.
"Humans are born with a set gender, it just becomes more pronounced on puberty," Harry told her.
"So a lot like other monster types, I can deal with this," Toriel said nervously.
"Depending on how it goes, I'll help give them the talk once there older. I know how it works after all," Harry offered, Toriel looked relieved at the offer.
"Can you tell if there a boy or girl easily as a child, they haven't woken yet since we healed them?" Toriel asked.
"There are ways, but I suggest waiting to ask there gender once there awake otherwise its rude. Also, they could be genderless, a person who decides there not gendered... or there the other gender as they are born in the wrong body. Like me, I was male human but female skeleton.. but humans can't jump species nor gender normally," came the skeletons response.
"Sounds.. complicated, humans seem to have so many labels," the queen sighed.
"Humans try to label everything, there a bit OCD," Harry snorted.
"I thought people were just themselves, no matter who they were... I wonder if its the same with our own people," Toriel frowned.
"If they are, we give them love and support and a shoulder to lean on. Just as you gave me one while I found my way as a monster"
"You put a new spin in the term traveller," Toriel chuckled.
"Maybe, come on. Lets invade the palace kitchen, I'll teach your cooks and yourself how to make food for human children," Harry said as the two got up, putting down empty tea cups.
"I don't know how to cook," Toriel told her.
"Then time you learn the basics, what about baking?" Harry asked curious, sometimes people knew one but not the other.
"No, but I found a book that talked of pies," Toriel brightened, she put her notebook away finally.
"Pies, what interested you there?" Harry asked curious.
"Snail pie," Toriel beamed.
"Snail... pie...?" Harry said making a face "Each our own I guess, I'll start with cooking then we'll start with more normal desserts"
This led to a long strange conversation on snails, well everyone needed hobbies.. even if it was about snails.

They hurt....
Charas chest felt tight, and they seriously needed to drink some water.
Slowly they opened there eyes, wincing at the light in the room.
"Wh.. where am I?"
