DAY 462:

I went to shopping today. Thanks to my three mad roomies, I splurged two weeks worth of part time money on clothes.

They selected everything for me and I let them.

Since I have been living with them for over a year, the girly colours don't seem absurd to me anymore.

I now understand the beauty of pinks, peaches, lavenders and baby blues. My wardrobe will no longer be just neutrals.

Even if I dodged makeup for now, I looked different with my new hair style and feminine clothes. They tried to get rid of my trousers and jeans but I didn't let them.

'You show what you are by what you wear' was Angie's argument.

Humans may be ostentatious but I cannot let go of the person that I always have been.

Ever since I took a fist on her behalf, she took me in and teaches me things that are expected from the fickle minded society.

Thanks to her, I may even have gotten better at pretending; though she vehemently denies.
