Finally, we are here folks Elementals has officially hit the big 1k! If this isn't something to celebrate over I don't know what is! As I said before in Genesis regarding Wattpad with so many fantasy stories, I didn't think that Elementals would reach this point so soon and even somewhat define itself. But you guys and gals proved me very wrong. I hope many other achievements will come for my creation!

I know it sounds a little cliche, but I think I always had the story of elementals in my heart at least. Shows like Bakugan, Avatar, Fairy tail, rwby, seven deadly sins and digimon especially always made me see all the "magic" the fantasy genre had to offer me. And over the years the love grew until one day I sat down with my friend during my blossoming youth of 2 years ago and asked.

"Do you think I can make my fantasy shonen series?"

"Yeah, I think you could."

"Neat."

However, when I started to go into my story, I wanted to do something very different and be careful while doing it. I love shonen as much as the next guy, but it's a very slippery genre with many critiques behind it. Combine that with wattpad's beautiful reputation of "professional writers," I decided I had to be laser-focused. I realized if I was truly going to make a story that is truly fantastical I wanted to make a world that I had figured down to a science but still fun to explore and ripe with untapped potential. I also wanted puns for all the places and characters as well. And above all, I wanted to make sure that the characters didn't feel prophesied.

So many other shonen and fantasy suffered through the problems of consistency, escalation, and plot armor powerups that it's brought a wealth of discussion in many videos in the anime community. And if there was ever a message that I wanted to say in Elementals is that nothing is ever really promised. We can't control how they were born, or what was born into. Hell, some expectations are so high they collapse over harsh reality. And sure in many respects it's easy just to accept it, but I believe some dreams and ideals are worth living for. And at the end of the day if you decide such a thing strive to go to the very top. But always remember what it was like being at the bottom along the way and even in a way enjoy it because so many people in this world with such absolute power are corrupted.

At the end of the day, I like to think that Aphele and the gang are just doing the best with their situation and enjoying the moments of peace along the way. And learning to improve on not only their strength but themselves as well. And I hope you and I can at least survive in this magical roller coaster called life as well. Thank you all for reading, and next time I will be doing a story focusing on the tales of other heroes during the holidays and even a special in-universe fairy tale if you want.
