Pottery

Lisa stepped inside the art studio. She liked art, pottery especially. It was one of the few things only the Queens knew.

She hardly spent time with her hobby now, due to the current pandemonium in her life. But she was back at it, due to her parents.

"Lalice, are you okay?" She remembered her mother softly mumbling to her, stepping inside Lalisa's room. Lisa had looked back with a confused expression.

"Of course Mom...I'm fine. Why, is anything wrong?"

"Don't use the soft talk around her," Lawan had scoffed, the elder sister tossing her straight brown hair behind her shoulder. "Just cut to the chase."

"Buzz off Lawan." Lisa shot her a glare. The glare had been returned.

"Lisa...I'm just worried how you're taking the math teacher's death, she was your teacher."

"Mom, honestly, I'm fine."

"That's exactly what someone who needs a therapist would say."

"Lawan, this is a talk for your sister and I. Go to bed."

Lisa smirked, watching her stalk back to her room with a glare, then gulping at the formulations of what her mother was thinking.

The result of that conversation had been trips to the therapist and weekly visits to the University pottery class.

Lisa didn't mind the second half, she had actually thanked her mother for that.

She didn't expect Tzuyu to be in the same room as her. Hostility seeped into Lisa as she tentatively made her way around the room, grabbing an art smock.

Successful at tying her hair into a messy low bun, she pulled out her phone, quick to dial a number.

Her voice was low in volume, urgent.

"Help me Jungkook."

"What is it?"

"Tzuyu is here, I feel like dying."

She could hear his laughter on the other end of the phone, causing her to glare at the screen.

"Go to hell, now is not the time for jokes."

"Babe, how bad could it even be?"

"She's my arch nemesis, and I hate her?"

"Gosh, you sound like a nerd—"

"I thought you could help me," Lisa hissed harshly through the phone, ignoring his laughter. "Clearly I was wrong! Have a nice day!"

"Wait, when you're done, come over to my place please."

"No."

"Lisa, please?"

"No. I have to go now."

"No you don't. Fine, if you don't come on your own, I'll pick you up."

"Are you threatening to kidnap me Jeon Jungkook?"

"Precisely."

She sighed. "Fine." Tying loose ends of her apron, Lisa pressed the phone against her shoulder. "I'll see you later."

After muttering a soft goodbye to him, she hastily put away her phone, meeting a snarky Tzuyu.

"Who was that?"

"You don't need to know." Lisa huffed back, moving past her to a pottery stand. She began to move away a few pieces to the kiln.

"Ah, I didn't know you were into secret boyfriends."

"Tzuyu, shut the fuck up."

"Oh, you hush Lisa. I'm just here to make conversation." There was no hint of a glare on Tzuyu's face, just one of stark amusement.

"Well, talk to someone else. I'm not interested."

She brushed pst Tzuyu's shoulder, hands gripping on the door handle, before leaving the room.

Jennie didn't trust a lot of people. One being Dahyun.

She was friends with Lisa, Jennie knew that. But something was always off about her. Jennie didn't know what to think about it.

She was one of those that always took pleasure in which one of the Golden Boys spoke to her.

The most common one was Taehyung.

Jennie watched her smile uncontrollably at something the dirty blonde had said, making Jennie roll her eyes involuntarily, before trying to busy herself with her reflection in the mirror.

"Wow, carpentry? That's so cool Tae."

"Thank you."

"Y'know," From the corner of the mirror, Jennie noticed her step closer to Taehyung. "My dad knows a few people. He could get you an internship or something."

"Really now?" Jennie wanted to laugh. Taehyung sounded bored with her.

"Yeah, but I'll let you know about it. Talk later? I have to get to class."

"Sure."

"Toodles!" She kissed his cheek surprisingly, before prancing away, white skater skirt bouncing with her step. Jennie took this opportunity now to close her locker door.

Taehyung now noticed Jennie in the halls, it didn't take long for them to make eye contact. He winked at her, which she frowned at in disgust (once again) before continuing to walk past her.

"Hey."

"So you're talking to me now?"

"When was I not?" She sassily remarked. "Was that Dahyun?"

"What's it to you if it was her?"

"I just thought you'd be smarter." Jennie smirked. "Y'know, since you like to study people. Carpentry, huh? I thought you'd be more into psychology."

"Is that an attempt to mock me?"

"I'm telling you to watch yourself."

"Against who?"

"There's two crowds in this school, the approachable and the dangerous. I'd stay away from her...something's off about her."

Taehyung leaned a hand against the locker, right above Jennie's head.
"And why would you care about me?"

"I don't, actually." Jennie mumbled.

"Are you sure?"

"If you can easily read me like that Taehyung, then you'd know what my actual answer is, wouldn't you?"

"Fair play, Princess." He increased the space between them. "You said something about two crowds?"

Taehyung adjusted his hair. "You forget about the people that aren't just black or white."

"Who are?"

"You, my dear. You along with your Queens, and many of my Golden Boys."

"What are you then?"

"There's a reason why I don't hang much around you."

Jennie stared at his dark eyes, finally curious about the boy.

Maybe, this boy had just as many secrets as her.

"We wouldn't want Suho's princess to hang out with bad guy, would we?" He whispered, bringing his lips near her ear.

Jennie watched him leave, biting her lip in thought.

So maybe people weren't exactly what she painted them as.

"It was absolutely awful! I hated every minute of it!" Lisa whined Jungkook took a seat on his couch, positioning her outstretched legs onto his lap.

She hugged a pillow to her chest with a frown whilst Jungkook was laughing.

"I hate you. Worst boyfriend ever."

"Yah! That's not true!"

"You forced me to stay in a two hour long class with the girl I hate the most."

"Why do you hate her that much? She isn't that bad."

She whacked Jungkook with a pillow, who yelped in surprise. He shot her a glare which she returned.

"So, you've been oblivious at all her attempts of flirting with you?"

"I wouldn't call that flirting..."

"It is in my dictionary."

Jungkook noticed the genuine frown on her lips, before brushing back some of her hair. "Don't worry about it Lis."

"I've been going to the therapist. I-I really don't like it." She paused, playing with his hand with the both of hers. "It's so tempting to just admit it. That I did so much shoplifting, that someone might think I'm part of a murder, that I've been getting anonymous threat messages that make me question my sanity, and I mean it genuinely Jungkook. I feel like I'm going insane."

"I feel alone. I know I have you, I know that you understand me, but I can't show that in public, and it's so hard! Sometimes my friends don't even understand, like they act like this isn't even happening to them. I hardly get these private moments like this...I don't know, it's hard?"

He let out an exhale, not sure how to respond. Moving closer to her, he pecked her lipstick-painted ones.

"I wonder why I'm the one who always has issues in this relationship."

"Trust me doll-face, you're not the only one."

"It doesn't seem like it," She rested her head on his chest. "It seems like you don't have any problems."

"Don't worry about me Lisa."

"I want you to know that you can talk to me."

"I do know that. T-Trust me, I do."

"Good." He felt her sigh, then ran delicate hands through her hair. "You don't mind me staying for dinner right?"

"No, of course not."

Lisa smiled, then kissed Jungkook. Eagerly wrapping arms around his neck, Jungkook laughed. She pulled away almost immediately, scowling at him.

"If you're going to laugh at me constantly, you can forget about any display of affection."

"Ani! No, Lisa...I'm not laughing at you!"

"Then what is it exactly?"

"You're just so cute sometimes. It surprises me."

"Yeah, it surprises me too that you can actually be a decent person, but you don't see me laughing!"

Jungkook's smile spread at this. So she wasn't genuinely mad at him.

He bumped his forehead against hers, before letting out a small minty sigh.

"Hey Jungkook," Junghyun's tired voice called loudly into the hallway, Jungkook sat up abruptly.

Lisa looked panicked.

"Jungkook!" She hissed, scampering off of the couch. "You didn't tell me someone was coming over as well?"

"Sh, relax." Jungkook whispered back, confused as to why she was so freaked out.

Then he realized. Lisa didn't know that Junghyun didn't give a shit on who Jungkook was with.

"Yah, hyung! Do you want something to eat?"

"Jungkook! Are you calling for a death threat from me?" Lisa slapped his back, grabbing her bag. He started to laugh at her hysterical state, catching her wrist and pulling the blonde closer to him.

"Doll, don't worry about it. My brother doesn't care about who I affiliate myself with."

"That's your brother?"

"Nah, I'm just going to head up to bed—who's this?" The boy peeped inside the living room, jacket slung over one shoulder.

"I—uh..."

Jungkook rolled his eyes, trying not to snort at her behavior. "This is Lalisa, my g-girlfriend."

Wow. That felt awfully nice saying that.

"Like Manoban Lalisa?" Junghyun slowly asked, raising an eyebrow at Jungkook.

Lisa shot Jungkook a glare, he dismissed it.

"Yeah."

"Watch yourselves then. I'd hate Mom and Dad to find out about this."

"Who says they will?" Jungkook challenged.

Junghyun chuckled, grabbing a glass of water. "Oh, I'm telling you to be careful that no one sees. I don't care what you do JK, just be careful. You know our family doesn't play nice with hers."

"I'm aware."

"And you be careful too," Junghyun looked at Lalisa. "If you happen to get caught, you'll be painted as the bad guy. That's how society works, I'm sure you know."

"I-I'm aware." She mumbled, watching Jungkook's brother nod at the two of them before heading up to his room.

"See, I told you not to worry. He's on my side. Rather, our side." Jungkook looked her with a triumphant smile.

The blonde was thinking.

Sighing, she shook her head before looking back at Jungkook. Adjusted some of her hair before smiling back at him.

"You look a lot like him."

"Is that a compliment?"

"Yes, it is." Her eyes trailed from his lips to his round eyes, before leaning in.

Running one hand through her hair, the other cupped at her face. He didn't like to worry her with his problems.

Because there was a big one arising. Jungkook could just sense it.
