Lonely

a/n: that's a picture of yezi from fiestar

"Name?"

"Lalisa Manoban."

"Age?"

"Seventeen years old."

"So, you found the body?"

"Yes." She stared ahead at the wall.

"Could I get another recollection about how you found it?"

"I went outside for some air. That's how I found it."

"You walked inside the woods?"

"Yes."

"The woods seem particularly closed off."

"Officer Yezi," Lisa whispered. "I went for a walk, to get some air. There were crickets and owls hooting near the woods. I like owls."

Officer Yezi; local police investigator near St. Helena's. The woman was relatively good at her job, successful in keeping the criminals in jail, Yezi was treated with a new case. And just by the looks of it, the woman knew it was more complicated than it looked.

She knew the blonde knew more than she let on.

"Who are your friends, Lalisa?" Yezi asked softly, closing the file. She noticed Lisa swallow, eyes shifting downwards.

"Park Chaeyoung...

Kim Jisoo,

...and Jennie Kim."

Yezi smiled. "Jennie Kim? She's back?"

"Y-Yes."

"Very well then. Any boyfriends?"

"No." Was her quick reply. Pursing lips,Yezi noted this down with a small smirk.

"Not even any crushes?"

"How is this related to the case Officer?" Lisa sharply asked, jaw tight.

"Just trying to know you better Lalisa."

"By asking me about my social life?"

"Precisely, yes."

Lisa was silent once more. The officer knew the girl was scared. And the fact that she was harmless.

"His name was Jungkook, wasn't it?"

"What about him?" Lisa lowly asked, Yezi's smirk grew.

"Defending Jungkook before herself," Yezi wrote down, before looking at Lisa.

"You should talk things out with him before he finds someone else."

"I don't think you have the right to tell me about what I do with my friends."

"So he's a friend?"

Lisa gulped, visible to the officer. Yezi clicked her tongue. "Lisa, I'm no enemy. Stop acting like I am."

"You think I killed her? I-I didn't even know her! She was just a math teacher to me."

"You can go," Yezi responded softly, noticing Lisa's uneasy state, not willing to push it. "Call your friend Kim Seokjin inside for me please."

Lisa got up quickly, the wooden chair scratching against the floor, before the blonde made a quiet exit, the only other sound being the door shutting.

Yezi ran a hand through her dark colored hair, crossing one name off the list.

Jungkook wandered the rooms of his house alone, black sweatpants and a white undershirt on.

Meetings with the police offer, Yezi, had been today. Jungkook didn't go. He claimed to have a 'fever' just to skip out.

In reality, he wasn't ready to talk just yet. He knew the officer would probably want to speak with him the most, along with Lisa since they had found the body.

Jungkook had seen the body before Lisa. Which was why he had been there when the blonde had found it.

This was bad. Aeja shouldn't have died. Now the possibilities of his secret being surfaced were on the high. Yezi was very good at her job, everyone knew this.

She was the best cop on the West Coast.

His parents were away on a business trip, like many of the others students' in his school, leaving him alone with his brother, who was hardly here anyways.

His parents didn't care much for him. Not even much for his older brother, Junghyun either. He supposed that's what he needed in life.

Feeling like someone cared for him. Because he didn't have that, he didn't realize how much he needed it sometimes.

Junghyun used to tease Jungkook, saying that the both of them had been careless 'accidents' by their parents, Jungkook found himself believing him.

The fact that they cared and spent more time with their work than their own children meant something. It caused Junghyun's quietness at home, how he only acknowledged the house staff and Jungkook himself, nobody else.

Both the boys brought home people whenever their parents were home. Desperate to get rid of that feeling of loneliness.

Being lonely was one of the worst things for Jungkook. Not physically alone, mentally alone.

And he felt like that right now. Mind in a daze and carelessly walking around his home like he was in it for the first time, his ears perked at the sound of the doorbell.

Making his way to the door, he opened it. Surprised eyes met soft ones.

"Hi..." Lisa mumbled, biting her lip. "Can I come in?"

⭐️

"I expected more people to be here." She said, sitting down next to Jungkook in the living room. Jungkook shrugged.

"The boys aren't here, if that's what you're thinking."

"I know they aren't. I just saw them all at the station."

"You were at the police station?"

"Yeah, just got interrogated by Officer Yezi."

"H-How was it?" Jungkook scrunched his eyebrows, Lisa quirked a small smile.

"It was fine. She didn't ask much."

"Maybe she doesn't suspect you."

"She wondered why I went to the woods alone."

"Why did you?"

Lisa paused. "To look for you..."

"What?" Jungkook's eyes widened, looking at her. Lisa shrugged.

"I-I was kind of worried at the dance. You and Aeja seemed on a wrong note so I—"

"She's not who you think she is." Jungkook softly replied.

"I'm sorry. I came here mainly to tell you that. It must be awful for you. No one knows she was your girlfriend, and she was murdered—" Lisa's voice wavered.

"I broke up with her before the dance."

"What? Why?" It was Lisa's turn to be surprised. Is that why Aeja had been looking for him?

"She used me. She wasn't who I thought she was." He replied grimly. "Call me insane Lisa, but is it bad that I'm not as upset over her death as I should be? I loved her. Now, I don't even know. I just feel so..."

"Numb. I know, I get it. Had I not found the body, I don't think I would've cared much about her death."

"Does that make us bad people?"

"Everyone has a small darkness to them. It's called being human and having flaws."

"Why are you being so nice?" Jungkook asked, changing the subject.

"I could ask you the same thing."

"But I asked you first."

"Asshole," Lisa muttered, before sighing. "I may have come off as rude, but I'm not a mean person. Well I can be when I want to, but I hope you understand that we're on the same side now?"

Lisa looked at Jungkook, swallowing as he stared back at her in silence. "Besides, I kind of feel bad about your situation."

"So the Ice Queen has a soft spot."

"And the asshole actually cares about his own feelings."

"You're actually the first person to come visit since the dance. The boys texted, but none of them ever came by."

"Don't take it personally. None of you are really that great at sympathizing with each other."

"Something tells me that none of your friends came by either."

"They didn't," Lisa said with a sigh. "Or they may have and I was at the station. Doesn't matter because Jennie could probably be the only person to help me out and she can't. Because she has no idea what's going on."

"Why is it always 'what Jennie says goes' or 'Jennie, is it okay?' Like I don't understand, she isn't your leader. She can't boss you around that much."

"She doesn't Jungkook, people think she's a bitch and bosses us around, but she doesn't do it as much as she used to." Lisa looked at her fingernails. "I don't know why she left, she never told us."

"She has secrets."

"The most out of the four of us. I always knew she led a secret life that Jisoo and Chaeyoung weren't aware of. I don't know what kind, but definitely not the girl we knew. But we had been really close."

"She sounds like Yoongi and Namjoon," Jungkook replied. "Both of them were close friends ever since Namjoon transferred here two years ago. If you ask me, it feels like sometimes they knew each other before Namjoon had even applied here."

"I wonder what kind of dirt the blogger has on them." Lisa whispered, before her eyes widened. "That sounded so awful, I didn't mean it like that."

Jungkook laughed, probably the first time since the Aeja Thing, Lisa thought. She smiled at his features, now realizing how she felt better. By talking to the one person she never expected to smile around.

Lisa found a strange sense in her, being able to tolerate Jungkook. She used to detest him, what had changed?

"I still am finding it hard to process that you were worried about me. I thought we hated each other?" Jungkook teased, nudging Lisa's shoulder with a smile.

She glared at him. "Not funny."

"It's actually pretty funny."

Lisa was quiet, awkwardly remembering the lack of space between the two of them once Lisa had encountered the dead body. She bit her lower lip, looking at the text message on her phone. Jungkook watched her silently, before looking away awkwardly.

Ever since this incident, Lisa and Jungkook had suddenly become friends. Ever since she had found out about his relationship with Aeja, actually.

Where are you?
- Jisoo

Visiting someone. Won't be home for a while.
- Lisa

Putting away her phone, Lisa sighed, swallowing harshly. Her anxiousness was apparent, Jungkook would've been stupid not to notice.

But, he was stupid.

She grabbed his chin with her right hand, connecting their lips for a brief moment.

Lisa kissed Jungkook. Both of them eyes wide, but she didn't regret it, strange enough. Why had she done it? Heat of the moment? Why did he kiss her back?

"Sorry..." She mumbled, ears turning a light pink.

"Why are you apologizing? You seemed like you knew exactly what you were doing," He whispered.

"You kissed me back."

"I did."

"And you're not denying it."

"I am not."

"What does this mean?"

"Do we put a label on this?" Indirectly, Jungkook had just pushed their relationship one step.

"Do we have to?"

Lisa had never seen such a soft side to Jungkook, he was much like her. Both of them shut the world out from affection, even though they lacked the love they needed. His softness revealed to Lisa how vulnerable the boy actually was, by taking her hand in his.

"You're saying we stay loyal to each other but not participate in the public aspects to a relationship?"

"Y-Yes."

"That's what I was thinking too." Came Jungkook's reply before he pressed his lips on top of hers instantly. Lisa's arms went to his neck, wrapping around them and diminishing any space that was still there.

It was unlike Lisa had ever experienced. Like losing her first kiss all over again, but it was different this time. Both of them not interested in going past just kissing, unlike many of the relationship-crazed students in their school. The amount of sparks sent tingling from Jungkook's touch shocked Lisa, in a good way.

His lips moved against hers perfectly, like that's it always should've been. Lisa had never known the attraction between both of them before, maybe that's why they had always argued so much. Lisa never ever thought in her life that she would like someone with the personality of Jungkook's.

But she hadn't known this side of him, she had only known the guard he had successfully put up.

But Lisa knew she had successfully brought it down, same for Jungkook. Lisa hadn't dated any boy in a long time, in fear of heartbreak and becoming attached. She had been scared of putting her heart out there for someone to crush.

Lisa's legs wrapped around his torso, before he pulled away, eyes still not lit up with that familiar mischievous glint. He was scared and vulnerable, much like her. Breaths tangling in with each other, Lisa watched in silence, breathing steadying as Jungkook's eyes traced over her features, before one hand ran a hand through her hair.

"Please stay here." Jungkook whispered softly before sinking his head sadly into her shoulder.

"I don't want to be alone."

a/n: WHJAKAJAKAJAJ OMG THAT LAST SCENE WAS TERRIBLY TERRIBLY WRITTEN
I PROBABLY SHOULD GO BACK AND EDIT THAT LMFAO

okay, but BEFORE YOU SKIP THIS AUTHORS NOTE

⚠️BEFORE YOU SKIP THIS NOTE⚠️

i just wanted to explain my reasoning for this.

so some of you may not have expecting liskook to show up so early. (some of you might have)

i chose to put liskook first because

- they're so alike
i know, you're thinking
"excuse me bitch, what about chaeyoung and jimin? or jisoo and jin?"
(don't even @ me with taennie,, ill get back to that explanation)
jirose is currently at war with each other, or themselves individually.

so...they're clearly out of the question right now.

as for jinsoo, well...you'll see in the upcoming chapters, and possibly a hint of what's hindering them ;)

FOR TAENNIE,, i find it so fUNNY how y'all thought they would get together first (don't hate me)

jennie doesn't really like Taehyung. idk if you guys picked up on it, but taehyung does not like her. not even as a friend or acquaintance.

so that probably should be fixed before they kiss each other right? right. that's what i thought so too.

since I love you guys so much (don't hate me for this) ill give you all a hint for how these blacktan ships are gonna go down

1. liskook
2. jinsoo
3. jirose
4. taennie

and this is just a rough idea, i might change the spots between jinsoo and jirose, but wHO KNOWS

in the original organization of 'QUEENS' i intended there to be a ship that moved fast. liskook became that

so sorry for you taennie shippers, but jennie and taehyung have a whole lot of shit going on,, they'll probably be one of the last ships brought together

BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN NO TAENNIE MOMENTS BECAUSE THAI GIRL LOVES WRITING THE TAENNIE SHIT ITS SO FUN LMAO

but yeah, idrk where i was going with this??

- LISKOOK MOVED FAST > WILL HAVE TONS OF PROBLEMS BECAUSE BOTH ARE VVY PROBLEMATIC PEOPLE
- TAENNIE > SHITTY LIVES WHICH NEED TO BE FIXED

ya girl jennie already has issues with other men which you've probably already seen

DONT FORGET,, these aren't the only endgame ships!!

IVE GOT LOVE INTERESTS FOR YOONGI, HOSEOK, AND NAMJOON BECAUSE I HATE LEAVING THEM OUT OF THE LOVE CIRCLE
