It happened in a series of phone calls.

All eleven soon made their way to the woods, where already people were crowding. All Jennie could see was yellow caution tape and blue and red lights.

It was six in the morning, she was still very much in her pajamas.

"Did someone die?"

"What do you think Jungkook?" Lisa muttered.

Jennie's ears were ringing. Just by the news she could hear from other people's conversations.

Solji and Officer Yezi.

"Why were they the ones to be killed?"

"They? So there's more than one?"

"Yeah. Solji and-" Jennie regretted her words as soon as they came out.

Despite being the usual cold hearted bitch, she never really liked to see her girls cry, or really in any distressed state.

Lisa's arms froze, her alert eyes met Jennie's instantly. "Wait what?"

"I-I..."

"Who died?"

"Let's go check with the cops." Jisoo piped, pushing Lisa away from the circle they had formed.

"Solji and who?" Jungkook asked after checking Lisa was gone.

"Officer Yezi."

"What?"

"Why would she die? She didn't even know anything!"

"Maybe she did." Yoongi suggested. "Something new? Recent? That someone didn't want her to know?"

A new voice caused the group to turn. Jennie crossed her arms in irritation.

"Ooh, look at you all. Sleuthing already?" Tzuyu smiled coyly. "Nice...outfit Jennie." She eyed her white bunny-print patterned set of pajamas.

"Thanks. I got them from Gucci. Probably more expensive than your whole house, right?" She scoffed. "What's it to you if we want answers?"

"It's just that all the people that knew too much ended up dead. We wouldn't want that to happen to you, right?"

"Fuck off Tzuyu." Taehyung hissed. "Maybe the siren alarms woke you up too early."

"Makes sense why she's such a bitch today." Chaeyoung added. Her eyes met Momo's, who withered slightly under hers.

Tzuyu rolled her eyes. "Well, I'm still the BIC here, so don't get a big head. Just because you're the Queen of the Queens, doesn't make you the Queen of the school."

"Are you sure about that? I don't see people fearing you as much as they fear me. Little Tzu, don't try and copy me. I was the first BIC, and I will always be the BIC." Jennie paused with a glint in her eye.

"You might be a bitch, but I am much more of one than you'll ever be."

"Hey Momo."

The brunette turned up sharply at the mention of her name, shocked to see Chaeyoung peering over at her with a small smile.

"Uh, hi."

Momo hated Chaeyoung, she still does. Right?

Even after this girl broke her love's heart, after she saw that Momo had liked Jimin, even though she knew that. Even after she hurt Jimin, she still had him hooked around her finger.

Despite Tzuyu trying to make Momo believe that Chaeyoung didn't care about Jimin, Momo felt herself wonder if the girl actually did care about the boy.

"I want to make this blunt. I know you like Jimin."

"W-Why are we talking?"

"Because you like Jimin, and I still like him."

"If you like him, then why did you cheat on him? Does that make any sense to you?" Momo wanted answers.

"Trust me, I regret it." She sighed. "Our relationship wasn't exactly the best, and not a lot of people know."

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because you're the only one who would understand the pain of loving Jimin and what effect he has."

It was true. Momo wasn't sure if she was in love with him, but admiring him was a dangerous. Like having something so close, yet so far. Momo hated it often.

He could be hers, but she didn't let it happen.

"You love him?"

"Yeah." Chaeyoung admitted, sitting down besides the girl, looking down at her long skinny legs. "It sucks though. I want to confess, but I'm scared. I'm not ready for that kind of step."

"That's not what I'm here to talk about though. I know Tzuyu doesn't like Jennie or Lisa, she probably doesn't even like me-"

"She doesn't."

"I-well, I don't like her either. But I don't hate you. You seem pretty nice."

Momo hated this. No, this girl shouldn't be doing this. She can't be nice to her! Momo hated her!

Correction, Momo still hates her.

"I-I can't do this right now. Sorry Chaeyoung, I'm still kind of confused..."

Without another word, Momo ran. Leaving the confused strawberry blonde behind.

"Since when did you hang out with Tzuyu? And why the hell is your hair blue?" Jin demanded, banging open the door of Roa's room.

He was furious.

Roa turned an unamused eye to him, shrugging on a hoodie. "What? You dye your hair like every day. I'm surprised you still have it."

He was taken back by her rude remark. Roa had never...acted like this around him.

"Shut up. Wash out the dye right now."

"No."

"What?"

"I said no. Are you fucking deaf?"

"Don't curse at me little girl. You're younger than me."

"I don't give a damn Jin. You're my step brother. We aren't even related by blood." She smirked. "You didn't even like to be alone in my room, did Jisoo do something?"

Jin ignored her. "I told you not to hang around Tzuyu."

"People change. Heartbreak hurts and rather than being pathetic I found someone who's actually there for me. Tzuyu's not a bitch, you were wrong. She makes me feel great about myself."

"Something I always wanted you to do. But you never did. You're nothing to me now Seokjin. Go live a happy life with that slut Jisoo. If she fucks around with teachers, she's probably doing that with you too. I don't care though, ever since you stopped caring about me, I guess it's about time I stop too-"

Jin slammed her to the wall, jaw set in a straight line. "Talk shit about her one more time and see what I'll do."

"Look at this, if Mom were to walk in, she's assume wrong, wouldn't she?"

"I-you're a bitch Roa. You've changed." He stepped away from her, shocked by her change so suddenly.

She had always been such a nice girl (asides from her treatment to Jisoo) and Tzuyu changed it all.

She corrupted his sister. Blood or not, he still cared about her, though he wouldn't admit to it anymore.

Jin now had a reason to hate the BIC.

wow this book is nearing an end omgg, in around at least 20 chapters lmao. it might not seem like a "short" amount of chapters but there's still a whole lot that needs to be fit into those chapters.

i'll still update during the year but of course, it will be harder. i won't be as active, because i need to focus on actually doing well this year haha 🤣
