"Hey, Ann. you're here? Uhm, meet my Lil sis. Ryan. Ryan this is Joanna-"

"Just Joanna or call me Joan" She interrupted while I was still trying to remember the last name. Which reminds me, she hasn't told me yet, it's like she just purposely ignores that part and asks us to call her just by her first name, Why?

I don't know Lou, why are you disturbing my brain, why? Now that's a question for you to answer? While you are at that, can you please allow me to have a conversation in peace. I warned my curious brain and forced a smile to Joan, almost as quickly as I snapped out of my thoughts, to make sure no one notices the weird me.

"So, Luis, is she the one you are trying to impress?" She had a mischievous grin on her face as I gave her a glare, "I'd just leave you two, Luis, Anny and tell mommy I'm at Emy's place" She waved as she went back to texting whoever it is with her phone and left the house after finishing her statement.

"What's she talking about?" Joanna asked with a wide smile on her face, looks like she was blushing before. Blushing? What? My right hand found their ways to my hair instantly as I ran the tip of my fingers, through it. I saw her brows raise with a questioning look.

Come on Lou, can't you come up with a simple answer? Are you that dumb?

"She's just excited about something, that's probably why she said that? " I signed and shrugged making it look like I wasn't sure but her face clearly showed she didn't get it. I let out a loud sigh 'why do I even try, only mom understands'

"Hmm, don't quite get it but nevermind" She shrugged. After a long, to what seemed like hours, awkward silence, "Soo- hey what's that?" She pointed at the pile of papers on the table. What's what? She walked to the table and gathered it all in one piece, it seemed like she was arranging it. Hey! isn't that your script? That's your script dummy! My brain screamed to me, I rushed to her side to confirm.

Oh! come on.

"You didn't tell me you write?" She asked, facing me. I was now nervous, I don't know how it got there, I was planning on dumping it or rather still burn it, it's useless and won't get me anywhere. I'm just waiting for Jeff to get me a job as a cleaner or something, where I can put my muteness to good use.

'You didn't ask, dhurr!' is what I would have said if I could speak but I just shrugged. "Light... Sounds...captivating, I'd have to read it to know, mind if I take it?" She asked, sounding curious.

'I think that would be a horrible idea' again is what I would have said but I just simply shook my head, "I don't mind"

"Great thanks, well I didn't come here for this though" She looked tensed and nervous. It made me feel like I should run away from this moment. "Well, we need to talk, well about what happened yesterday...." She finally got the words out, with a blank expression.

"What happened," I said acting confused, I knew very well where she was going to. Then I realized this isn't the right place, to talk about this. "Wait!" I put my palm in front of her, "wait here" I instructed and went up to my room, to grab my jacket and phone.

Then I rushed back to see her looking in my direction with a confused face. I smiled and walked towards her, then took the box of cookies, I plan on giving to her. "Here, Uhm, figured you'd like this, can you follow me somewhere"

"Yeah sure, where?"

'Where I can eat your brains' I grinned, "just come with me, please?" I nudged my head in the direction of the door and raised my brows, asking if she was coming.

"Alright, lead the way" I led her to the garden at the back of the house, It has always been my special spot since we came here. It's filled with beautiful and different kinds of flowers.

"It's so amazing," She said amusedly, I turned and saw her smelling a red rose. I chuckled and signaled her to sit. Well, time for the serious talk.

"Coming, one minute, it's really beautiful" She tried to pluck another rose but she couldn't. She looked beautiful with the childish smile on her face matching with her mesmerizing eyes. She shook her head slowly and slightly brushed her index finger, along with the tips of the rose. I chuckled, letting out the breath I hadn't realize I was holding and went over to her.

I bent slowly, staring at her and ready pluck, instead the rose dragged me to the ground, but I didn't go down alone, Ann was also down beside me and so close too how? I don't know. I couldn't help but laugh, Joanna started laughing too, with our backs facing the ground we looked up together and stopped laughing.

"You know Lou......, it's really beautiful here, thanks for this... about yesterday....." She trailed off, "I'm really sorry, I didn't know--" before she finished, I turned to make sure I was facing her as I placed my fingers on her soft lips to stop her. I gave her a reassuring face and nodded once, "it's okay" I could not help but stare into her brown eyes.

"I think I should go, I have to meet up for dinner with my parents" She raised her shoulder, so she was seated on the ground as she said. I rose from the ground, dusted myself and let out my right palms to her, which she took and was on her feet also. Still, very close to me, we got lost into each other eyes, it got interrupted after some seconds when she placed a kiss on my cheeks. "Bye Lou," She said softly, sending warm, fluttery feeling in my stomach

"Bye" I stood there, waving my hand like an idiot as she walked forward.

"A little help here?"

Of course, she doesn't know her way out, dude, get your self together!.

"Sure"
