一 rain's pov

"why the fuck is she starin'? i'm not going to steal." freya huffed, crossing her arms as she stared down a older woman who appeared to be working. we decided to go out somewhere since we all got bored of sitting in hester's house for two hours.

hester rolled her eyes, dramatically throwing her hands up as if she were done with freya. "you just made a joke that you were going to when we walked in, frey."

"well she needs to not take things to the heart. i don't want anything from here anyway." she shrugged, looking around the store. poor girl was about to give that women a heart attack.

"sure you don't."

"oh how i love my friends!" freya grinned, walking away to where the boys stood on the other side of the store. she was so weird sometimes but that's what made us all friends.

freya plopped down on the bed next to me. it was only the three of us in hester's room while the guys were outside doing whatever guys do. the confused expression on her face made me realize she was about to tell me something on her mind. "hm, alex really likes you."

i nodded laughing a bit. "i've been figuring that." i just couldn't understand why.

"he's gonna break his jaw smiling at you." hester spoke up.

"i've known alex longer than everyone else. i know how he's with girls and i'm not with that, you know?" the girls looked at me to hear the rest of what i had to say.

"i liked alex when we first met. he ignored that shit so i'm going to do the same," i shrugged. "won't be hard, right?"

i had a feeling since he knew weirdly that our friends were confessing to each other he could easily do the same. it would take more than these random ass compliments. when i liked him he basically pushed me aside so i pushed my feelings aside for the sake of our friendship.

my feelings were probably the same but i knew i could last being just friends with him.
