I. First and foremost, be kind. Not only to myself but to others as well. If you're upset that your character wasn't chosen or you don't like how I'm portraying your character, please message me directly rather than commenting. If I witness any harassment I will disregard your application or boot your character from the story.

II. Please keep up with the story. You don't necessarily have to like and comment on every chapter, but engagement shows me that you're paying attention. Likes and comments also help me to know how the story is going and whether I need to make any changes. I won't boot your character if you fall off the face of the earth, but I will be quite disappointed because this is a story that I've worked hard on.

III. Make your characters diverse! Even though the characters in "Clue" and "Harry Potter" are whiter than cottage cheese and straighter than spaghetti, that doesn't mean that the cast of this story has to be the same. All ethnicities, sexualities, genders, etc., are welcome to the story! The only thing not welcome is bigotry of any type.

IV. Please do not utilize face claims that are more than five years older than your OC. They should look their age. Also, please do not use young! face claims and please try to use face claims that have many pictures/gifs. Otherwise it becomes difficult for the story to look put-together and aesthetically pleasing.

Due to the more mature nature of this story, I'm requiring that characters fall between the ages 14-18 and years 4th-7th. That being said, this story will not be overtly gory or sexual but it may portray themes that could be triggering to readers such as death, murder, blood, etc. Apply and/or read at your own discretion.

V. Feel free to apply as many times as you like! But please try to apply with different characters when you do. For example, if you already applied with a female character, apply with a male character. I'm not going to be strict about this, but it'd help to increase the diversity of the applications and may also increase your chances of being selected!

VI. Any gender can use any of the titles! I'm going to utilize the same codenames from "Clue", but the genders don't have to stay the same. For example, even though Mrs. Peacock was a woman in the movie, you can apply with a male character and change the title to Mr. Peacock! The titles for Colonel Mustard and Professor Plum will remain the same since they are gender-neutral, but you can apply with females, non-binary, genderfluid, etc. characters for them!
