For him, fashion isn't about displaying his material wealth, but rather about looking his absolute best.

INTJ; Thomas has a quick tongue and a clever mind. He generally acts very confident but it's usually a front. Because of this assuredness, many people look to Thomas to take the lead in situations and he always accepts the role, even if he doesn't know what he's doing or even what's going on. He frequently uses humor and sarcasm as a defense mechanism, although he almost always seems to be defensive. Thomas focuses most of his time on his studies, and as such he receives top marks in all his classes, but he can be social when he needs to be. He's particularly good at spinning stories, which most of the time are completely made up, but they keep people entertained. Despite this, he still struggles to make friends because others find him a bit odd and eccentric. He tries to convince himself that he doesn't need friends and that he's better off alone, but deep down this is a huge insecurity of his. Thomas grew up incredibly wealthy and because of this, he's always had more than he needed or even wanted (except for his parents' love and attention), but he's never cared much for material wealth.

Thomas grew up in Dublin, Ireland as the only child of muggles James and Martha Hill. His father is the senior partner at his law firm and his mother is the CEO of a security company, so Thomas had to learn how to entertain himself under the watchful eye of one of his many nannies growing up since they were never home. When Thomas was six he began displaying magical abilities, which came as a great shock to his parents — for all of five minutes and then they moved on. Thomas really struggled with controlling his magic because he had no one to teach him and the only emotional response the topic got from his parents was anger when he accidentally broke priceless pieces in their multi-million dollar condo. He began to go through nannies quite quickly as well since his abilities scared them and he accidentally injured one or two of them. When an acceptance letter from Hogwarts arrived for Thomas on his eleventh birthday (something his parents weren't even present for), Thomas decided that he was going with or without his parents' permission. He attended a whole year at Hogwarts before his parents realized what had happened, but when they did, they didn't care. In fact, they were somewhat elated because it meant that somebody else would be responsible for him and that they could fire the nanny. Since Thomas had been home-schooled by tutors his whole life, the magical aspect of Hogwarts wasn't the only big change for him, but he was excited nonetheless.
