Upon entering the bus on our way back, due to everyone being tired, many were already fast asleep barely 2 minutes into the ride. Despite all of them being immensely curious about my relationship with Aoba Johsai(more specifically Oikawa), questions had to wait as they succumbed to exhaustion.

I rolled my eyes at X's comment.

Anyways, as I was saying, I managed to once more, snag a seat beside Suga. I hadn't forgotten my mission(obviously with X constantly pinging me in my head). So to be fair, it would be really hard for me to forget.

Currently, Suga and I were the only two people awake on the bus, not counting Takeda sensei who was driving.

Seeing Suga's eyes threatening to flutter close, I softly asked him with the most gentle voice I could muster, "Would you like to lay on my lap as you sleep?"

Suga seemed to flush at my suggestion, "No no, it's alright."

"You look really tired, you should get some rest." I spoke, looking concerned.

"If anyone's tired it should be you. I didn't actually play so I'll be fine." Suga smiled politely.

"No, don't say that. You deserve all the rest too and I can see you struggling to keep yourself awake. It's alright, just lay down." I insisted, gently placing my hands on Suga's shoulder as I guided him onto my lap.

As Suga lay on my lap, he gazed up at me, "You sure?"

'Wow, he looks so pretty' my mind thought as I gazed down at Suga.

I know, such a compromising position right? 😏

Shut up X.

Ignoring X, I nodded to Suga, "Yeah, it's not your first time anyways. You've laid on my lap before. No need to be shy."

Suga instantly looked away feeling embarrassed at my teasing. Laughing softly, I patted Suga on the head, as Suga slowly but surely drifted to sleep.

I smiled broadly as I continued to comb my fingers through Suga's hair

X had popped up once more this time in physical form, opting to sit on top of the seat directly in front of me looking crazily attractive(I can't believe I said that sigh) while laughing at my little accident from earlier.
Honestly, I just want to smack him, like stop laughing ;-;.
Also, why doesn't X just fall through the chair? Because I'm pretty sure no one can see him in the state he is in right now. Ah, who cares.

"I know. This time, I'm definitely completing the mission. And stop laughing! It was an honest mistake!" I grumbled, tempted to smack X.

A funny and legendary one! HAHA.
But, I think so too.
I've got a good feeling about this attempt as well.

X mirrors my smile as he glanced at Suga who is fast asleep.

And you didn't even have to force him or knock him out. I'm so proud. 🥲

"Somehow I feel like you aren't too happy about this despite your compliments." I narrowed my eyes, looking suspiciously at X.

I'm always genuinely happy that you succeed in a mission. :)

I proceeded to stare blankly at X.

I shook my head at X, not believing him one bit. Did he really think I wouldn't notice him subtly glaring at Suga?

I beamed brightly as I received the notification that I had once more completed a mission, and well within the time limit. Being in a good mood, I continued to brush Suga's soft locks, giving him a soft peck on the forehead. I could finally relax myself once more(until the next mission that is).

"Thank you, Suga senpai~"

After reaching Karasuno, all of us dragged our tired bodies to clean up the gym. Honestly, we were practically drained. Hinata was even sleeping while standing.
When we were done with cleaning, I went into the supply room to keep the brooms back in place. But what caught my eye was the mop that was broken in two just laying there. Spotting it, I instantly knew who broke it, and what it symbolized.

However, Yamaguchi who had just entered and saw the mop there didn't. "What's this? This mop is broken into two. I'm going to throw it away cause it's dangerous, okay?"

Yamaguchi's declaration instantly caught Suga's attention as a bittersweet smile formed on his face, "No, no. I'm sure it can be fixed, somehow."

"Okay?" Yamaguchi looked confused for a moment before turning to leave a forlorn Suga who held onto the broken piece of equipment looking at it with crestfallen eyes.

After leaving the Sakanoshita market without any meat buns, everyone began to discuss over today's practice match, and of course, that's when the questions started rolling in.

"That pretty boy's serve was kind of incredible. If we had to deal with that from the start it would've been bad for us." Tanaka crossed his arms, slightly unwilling to admit that fact.

"Just what you'd expect from Kageyama and M/N's senpai from junior high huh? Come to think of it, why are you guys at Karasuno anyway?" Tanaka stopped walking, asking the question that everybody had wanted to know.

Kageyama's eyes unintentionally found both M/N's and Hinata's eyes. He has only told two people the reason, however one was told when he was unconscious. Though Kageyama had a feeling that M/N still knew, and he was right, as as their eyes met, Kageyama instantly understood.

"If we're talking about the number one champion in the prefecture, that'd have to be Shiratorizawa." Tanaka explained as Hinata gave out a look of complete cluelessness.

"I didn't get into Shiratorizawa."

"Didn't get in?!" Tanaka looked shocked.

"I didn't receive a recommendation letter from them and wasn't accepted the standard way. The entrance exam didn't make any sense to me." Kageyama answered.

"If we're talking about the normal route, getting into that school would be really difficult..." Daichi spoke up thinking out loud.

"Hehehe so the king's academics don't amount much to anything~" Tsukishima snickered as Yamaguchi laughed.

"Tch." Kageyama glared harshly at Tsukishima.

"Then why Karasuno? Could it be that you admire the small giant too?!" Hinata looked excited for a moment.

"No, it's because I'd heard that the retired Coach Ukai had returned."

"Ukai?" Hinata looked lost.

"He's the famous general who led Karasuno all the way to the spring high school national championships! Or was supposed to..." Tanaka declared.

"Woah..." Hinata looked amazed.

"You know of the small giant so why haven't you heard of Coach Ukai? It's said that his goal at the time was also to have students who came from outside the prefecture." Kageyama explained.

"OOOH."

"The name Ukai of Karasuno was already well known though. They say he's a coach who keeps ferocious crows as pets." Tanaka smirked.

"Last year he only coached the 2nd and 3rd years for a short while but it was incredibly spartan." Suga shivered as he recalled the past.

M/N, upon hearing crazy training regimes too felt a cold shiver down his spine as he suddenly thought of Coach Washijo. However, Hinata and Kageyama had a whole separate reaction, their faces looking both eager, excited, and envious.

"Why do you guys look like you're jealous?" Suga couldn't understand.

"Coach Ukai had decided to return in earnest but not long after he returned, he collapsed." Suga stated.

Kageyama looked alarmed, "He collapsed?!"

Suga gave a helpless look, "Well, he's older and it seems he overdid things during his younger years. There aren't any plans for him to return at this time. Sorry."

Kageyama shook his head, a look of pure resolve, "Well, no matter. After all, regardless of what school they attend, our opponents are still other high schoolers. There's no reason we can't win."

"Quit it with the excuses! Even if you say that and try to look cool, it's no use!" Tanaka laughed while Hinata had to muffle his giggles.

"That's not it! I'm not trying to look cool!" Kageyama denied.

M/N let out a hearty laugh as he watched Kageyama get all defensive. All the attention was then directed to M/N as his refreshing laughter caused flowers to bloom within their hearts.

"Ah, M/N. This reminds me, you haven't answered why you came to Karasuno?" Tanaka questioned, going back on topic.

"I-"

"Don't give me the I'm not known or I missed the entrance exam excuse again. I know you said that as your reason before, but somehow I feel like that's a lie." Tanaka cut M/N off.

"I, uh-" M/N wondered how he should answer, after all, he couldn't say that it was because he wanted to see all the Haikyuu cast right?

Daichi nodded in the background as he too secretly felt that there was another reason for M/N to be in Karasuno.

"I really wasn't well known in middle school. You guys haven't heard of me, have you?" M/N replied, looking as though he was telling the truth.

However Tanaka trusted his gut instincts, "That's true, but I believe there's more to that story. Yeah, you aren't a popular volleyball player in middle school, but with your skills and grades, I don't believe you couldn't have gone to any other school."

"I really ain't that good." M/N denied.

Daichi crossed his arms in all seriousness, "I beg to differ M/N. I know you slipped and fall during today's match, but I know that that was just a one-time accident. I can see the mastery behind your actions M/N."

M/N, upon hearing his embarrassing moment being brought up again, looked away awkwardly as X began to taunt him again(not that anyone else could hear him).

Tsukishima and Tanaka erupted into another round of howling laughter as they were reminded of M/N's unfortunate moment. To which Suga promptly sent a deadly glare in their direction, effectively shutting them up.

"You can tell us M/N. Don't worry we won't judge you." Suga spoke softly, patting M/N.

M/N sighed.
"If I said that I wanted to stay with Tobio-kun, would you believe me?"

A moment of silence as everyone tried to process the ravenette's words. A confession?
Afterwards, chaos ensued.
