"That's awesome. Though I should inform you that I might be playing for Inarizaki this Interhigh." M/N casually drops the crucial groundbreaking information.

"HAH?"

"WHAT?!"

"HYOGO INTERHIGH?"

All panic settled in the Karasuno gym as everyone (except one Tsukishima and Ennoshita) freaked out. M/N clearly thought too soon.

"EXCUSE ME, M/N?!" Kageyama instantly jumps up in shock.

M/N sighs on the other end. He should've expected this, and he did, until things went a little too smoothly. Now it was back to square one.

"The betrayal Akiri, the betrayal!" Tanaka exclaims as he scrutinized Kageyama's phone.

"How could you?! I know we told you to check out Inarizaki's volleyball team but we said to CHECK OUT not to JOIN THEM AHHHHH" Nishinoya yells out in a frenzy.

Hearing the mass panic on the other side of the call M/N could only sweatdrop as he imagines Suga or Daichi trying to calm down the team while Tsukishima just enjoys the chaotic atmosphere and Asahi merely standing by at the side not knowing what to do.

To make matters worst, amidst Karasuno's distress, Kita had walked over to M/N tapping him on the shoulder, "M/N, break's over. It's time to get back to practice."

"Okay Shinsuke, just a minute."

Let's just say that upon hearing the Inarizaki captain's voice, all hell broke loose in Karasuno, with the chaos worsening.

"WHO IS THAT M/N?!" Hinata curiously shouts out from the other end of the call, feeling an odd sense of urgency.

Even the normally composed Suga was frazzled, an eerily happy smile appearing on his face(not that our main character knew), "M/N, who was that?"

M/N uncontrollably shivers at Suga's tone, not intending to hide anything from the vice-captain. But just as he was about to answer, due to the call's volume, Kita interjects, "It's Inarizaki's captain here. I regrettably like to inform you that our dear M/N is busy right now. Bye bye."

With that Kita taps the end call button on M/N's phone with a bright kindly grin not unlike his usual ones, leaving Karasuno in hysteria.

Kita knew exactly what he had done, and despite the innocent face that is painted, M/N could see past it. Oh wasn't Kita cruel?

M/N will be in for it when he returns to Miyagi. He was sure of it.

"Why did you do that Shinsuke-san?" M/N questions, his tone, and expression mimicking a certain insect hashira from Demon Slayer.

Kita plastered an equally fake façade as he blinks innocently, "Oh, what did I do?"

"You got me in trouble. And I know it was intentional." M/N drops all pleasantries, eyes narrowing at Kita.

Kita still had the audacity to look like he was wronged. "I only reminded you that break is almost over. I didn't do anything."

In the face of the sly fox Kita, M/N couldn't do anything about the stunt earlier. As thinking about it, despite the actions being one hundred percent deliberate, Kita hadn't really done anything wrong per se.

Growling irritatedly under his breath M/N frowns as he walks away to whine to Riseki, annoyed that Kita left unscathed.

Kita crossed his arms as a secret smug grin graced his lips for a brief moment. The change was so fast that one would question whether it was even there in the first place, but it was all true.

'Hmph, serves you right for leaving me in the equipment room that day.' With that last thought, Kita swiftly composes himself and joined the team once more.

Whoever thought that the Inarizaki Volleyball Captain, Kita Shinsuke was always pristine and unperturbed clearly made a major mistake. Cough cough- Suna.
Kita was one petty person underneath all that unfazed, calm demeanor.

"Hey, how are you doing Satori? You busy?" M/N greets as he decides to call Tendou for a status check-up.

Tendou picks up the call as he lays comfortably on his bed, a small smile curving his lips, "Heyo M/N, what a pleasant surprise to receive your call. I'm doing good, you?"

"I'm doing okay too. Though are you sure you're alright Satori? You're sounding a little off." M/N inquires, his tone etched with concern.

Tendou lets out an audible sigh as he speaks, "I can't hide anything from you can I?"

M/N lets out a small chuckle, encouraging Tendou to continue.

"The thing is, Coach has been more irritable recently, upping the intensity of practices as well. I'm exhausted!" Tendou groans as he rolls around on his bed childishly.

"Really? I can't imagine the old man being anything worse than he already is."

"Mou~ You would think so, wouldn't you? But sadly for me, the answer to that is yes. Coach really can get worse. Plus it's taking a toll on my blocking style. I get more inaccurate with my guess blocking thanks to him." Tendou complains exasperatedly.

"Aw, you poor thing. I can't believe that old man." M/N shakes his head as his phone still rests by his ear. "Well, worry not Satori, I promise you that I'll get you revenge!"

"Huh?"

Tendou was rather bemused. He wasn't expecting something like that to come out of the ravenette's mouth. He had anticipated that M/N would just offer him some words of encouragement over the phone. But what Tendou himself got was another story.

"I'll break into his house again for you Satori!" M/N proudly proclaims. Tendou could even envision how the all-rounder would look like behind the call.

"Wha-?" Tendou was just becoming more and more confused.

Acknowledging Tendou's confusion, M/N continues to plot. "Yep! I'll also sock Kuro at the old man. I'm sure that he would take in a few fish bribes."

"Um, excuse me, what? Bribes? Huh? Kuro?" Tendou was becoming increasingly puzzled as time goes on, wasn't Kuroo a middle blocker from Nekoma? He recalls seeing him in previous Nationals.

Tendou was so befuddled to the point of him not noticing that his stress had slowly dwindled away due to M/N's ridiculousness.

"Oh, Kuro's the old man's cat. I'm going to sneak in some treats for him so that he'll cause trouble for the old man." M/N pridefully states.

"You're counting on a cat?" Tendou blinks slowly, bewildered.M/N was just getting weirder and weirder.

"Hey! Kuro's a smart cat!" M/N proclaims contently.

"Sure..." Tendou answers skeptically.

"I'm glad you agreed with me, Satori" M/N declares, deliberately ignoring Tendou's obvious disbelief and sarcasm.

"I didn't- What-?" Tendou sputtered out.

"Ah, you know what never mind." Tendou dismisses his thoughts.

"Great, I'll start planning then. Take care of yourself okay Satori? I'll call you soon."

Tendou nods absentmindedly, "Yeah, yeah of course. Call you soon t— WAIT A MINUTE. WHAT DID YOU MEAN BY BREAK INTO COACH'S HOUSE?!" Tendou breaks halfway as he recalls M/N's previous statement.

"Oh, that? Don't worry about it." M/an brushes off the topic.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT?! YOU'RE GOING TO BREAK INTO COACH WASHIJO'S HOUSE?!" Tendou freaks out as he contemplates M/N breaking the law for him.

"Oh would you look at the time, it's late! I need to walk my fish! Bye Satori!" M/N hurriedly speaks, his tone all friendly and upbeat before hanging up promptly without answering Tendou.

Tendou could only lay in his bed staring at his phone gazing mooningly at the call that M/N has just hung up on.

'What the heck?'
