Amelia had moved 3 weeks ago to her own small barn with a beautiful house, indoor arena, outdoor arena, meadows, paddocks, lunging pen and all the other things you would love to have at your stable. She had 14 stables in total and had filled one of them with Fabi and 5 of the stables were filled with her own training/sale horses for her own brand new business. 5 stables still empty and two of them filled with Quince and Jazzy and one of the stables still empty. She bought Quince for a smaller price class then he's worth because she made him worth it and Jazzy... that's her childhood pony. The pony was almost big enough for a horse and currently 26 years old even tho she looked younger then that. Jazzy would stay outdoor most of the day while riding 3 times a week to keep in shape for as long as possible.

The stables were about 15 minutes away from our house so today we would move Connor, Gin, Nequila, Elton and Kadance to her stables. Lando and Amelia had been on 4 dates by now and it clicked perfectly between the two even when Lando wasn't at home. Amelia also became one of my closest friends in the mean time which I absolutely loved. I had loaded all the horses and some of my stuff in the big truck while the remaining stuff laid in my small truck and the trailer that hung behind it. I let Amelia drive the big truck while I took the small one. We drove 10 minutes and then arrived at Amelia's home. We made sure everything was cleaned and placed away while the horses were calmly eating hay in their stables. I walked to the whiteboard where the names and small pictures of the horses were on with numbers.

I placed my boots on the top shelf above the row of Amelia. Well the 2 shelves of Amelia. On each shelf fitted 3 pairs and Amelia owned 6 pairs. 4 pairs of jumping boots and 2 of tall dressage boots as she started riding some more dressage with Quince, Magic, New York and Dublin. When I was finished I walked inside of the house that had been finished completely a few days ago. Amelia placed 2 plaits of food in front of us and we started eating our lunch.

Amelia: "I was thinking to buy a dog."

Flo: "what kind?"

Amelia: "a golden. I've always loved them."

Flo: "go for it. What's stopping you now?"

Amelia: "I think I'll go to the shelter tomorrow..."

Flo: "good plan."

We shared a laugh before we went outside again. We went thru the feeding schedule, outdoor schedule and mucking out schedule. We had agreed on some points and changed a few small things. We made things ready for the night so it would be faster for Ami to be done. Her phone rang in her pocket and she picked the face time call on and placed her phone against a wall while we filled the hay nets not even 2 meters away.

Amelia: "hey Lan."

Lando: "hey... girls."

Flo: "hey!"

Amelia: "I hate hay. It gets stuck everywhere."

Flo: "you've got some on your back."

Amelia: "where."

I pulled her down by her feed making her land in the soft hay. I heard her laugh loudly before she pulled me down as well.

Lando: "you guys can't stay serious can you..."

Amelia: "not really no. When are you coming home again?"

Lando: "it's Sunday now so in a day. On Monday."

Amelia: "great."

Lando: "I've to go prep myself for the race. Speak to you guys later."

Flo: "bye!"

Amelia: "latehhh!"

We went inside Chanel's ourselves and cooked dinner together.

We had some good laughs and had a nice dinner before I helped Amelia with the last bits for the night at the stable. Her parents would stop by for a drink as they would pass on the way home. I had never actually met them but from what I've heard they're sweethearts. We heard an engine turn off and afterwards the door open and close. Some footsteps walked into the room as we turned our heads.

Amelia: "Hallo Papa!  endlich bist du wieder da!" (Hey dad! Your finally here again!)

She wrapped her arms around her dad hugging him tightly while he rocked her a little from side to side.

Stefan: "Hallo Prinzessin!  Wie geht es dir?" (Hello princess! How are you?)

Amelia: "Es geht mir gut!" (I'm fine!)

Mary: "hello honey."

Amelia: "hey mom."

She hugged her mother as well before I shook hands with them and we had a drink with a snack. They were very sweet and polite people just like Amelia. Her dad sometimes using a few German words that Amelia translated for her mother and me. Her German and English were both very fine. If she talked English you couldn't hear any German accent and the other way around for the German. Amelia stood up and walked to the fridge while she switched to German.

Amelia: "ach Papa.  Ich habe noch eine Flasche Whisky für dich." (Ah dad! I still have one of those bottles of whiskey for you."

Stefan: "du bist ein toller Schatz." (Your amazing honey.)

She placed a bottle of whiskey in front of her father. He looked at the label and inspected it. He placed it away with an approving face on his face. Amelia and I shared a look before softly giggling. The night went in and at 21:30PM her parents left the house leaving the two of us alone. We watched a movie while Amelia texted a little with Lando. He had finished P5 this afternoon which we both were very proud of even tho we hadn't watched as we were busy ourselves. After the movie we went to bed tho as we would have some work to do tomorrow.

The alarm for 8 o'clock rang thru the room as Amelia and I laid back to back in her bed. She slammed the alarm shut before we climbed out. We both pulled on a pair of sweatpants, hoodies, outdoor stable boots and a warm coat. We walked outside and gave the horses their food before placing Quince, Fabi, Gin and Nequila outside in the meadow. We stepped into the car and went to the shelter to pick a dog for Amelia. It was a last minute plan maybe but Amelia had always had a dog so she knew what she was gonna do. We walked in and looked around. She fell for the golden retriever called Benson who was only 2 years old which was perfect. After a conversation with the shelter owners she signed the papers and she now officially had a dog. She let the dog jump into the car before we drove it to the store to buy the needed things. Food, bowls, toys, leashes ect. We went back home afterwards and Benson loved it out there already. He had ran across the outdoor arena a few times before coming inside of the house. He sniffed past every single object taking in the sent of his new home.

We played a little with Benson before I went to pick up Lando from the airport. I climbed into my car and drove to London airport where he had landed. I gave him a hug before we laid his luggage in the trunk. I sat down behind the wheel and started the engine. I drove out of the parking lot and on to the highway.

Flo: "where you wanna go?"

Lando: "Lia..."

Flo: "what a surprise."

I giggled softly as he chuckled softly. We talked for a while until we arrived at the gates of Amelia her house again. They opened after typing in the code and we drove onto the huge driveway. Where she got the money from? Wouldn't know. I turned off the engine and we both climbed out of my car. He grabbed his suitcase and bag out of the trunk and set them in the hallway. We walked further into the house and saw Lia lying on the couch on her back scrolling thru her Instagram. Lando pulled of his shoes and laid down on top of her making a groan leave her mouth. He wrapped his arms around her as she did the same.

Amelia: "hey handsome."

Lando: "hello gorgeous."

He rested his chin on her chest while they just smiled at each other. It staid quiet for a while until Benson came walking into the room. Lando pushed hisself up on his elbows and looked at the dog and then Amelia.

Lando: "you got a dog?!"

Amelia: "yea... a few hours ago."

Lando: "your crazy..."

He laid his head down on her chest while they wrapped their arms around each other. I went upstairs to change into my riding clothes just like Amelia had done earlier. I walked down the stairs again and saw Amelia was already gone while Lando laid on the couch alone now.

Lando: "she's outside."

Flo: "okay thanks."

I pulled on my shoes and coat and walked outside. I made my way to the barn and closed the big door behind me. I saw Amelia walking with 12 flexible buckets. They all had a different color. Light blue, dark blue, pink, light green, dark green, mint green, red, purple, yellow, orange, grey, black and a darker purple. All the horses had their own color and food as she placed the buckets into their stables one by one. I had picked two of the hay nets and started on hanging them up. Amelia helped me with it and soon we were done. Amelia had placed the horses back inside in the time I went to pick up Lando. We placed the next 4 horses outside after they finished their food and I started tacking up to ride Nequila.
