Dev's PoV
I twirled the bat in my hand and adjusted my gloves. The bowler began his run up, I could practically hear the commentators. 'India need a 6 to win, and Devdutt Padikkal needs a six to complete his very first international century'.
The ball went by in slow motion, I decided to attempt MS Dhoni's signature shot. Changing my shot halfway, I smacked the ball. I could hear the crowd roaring, I also heard something else.
Crack!
I found the opposition team celebrating, I turned to see that the plastic ball had been smashed into someone's car. It was a small white one, but a car nonetheless. A girl came out of the car.
"Run! It's Ritesh's sister." A guy cried out, the entire cricket match dispersed within seconds. Ritesh was famous for beating up people who ogled at his sister, it's famous that she has an extensive knowledge of curse words.
Gully cricket, sheesh.
"Who hit it?" She demanded, with her hands folded. My amazing friends, immediately pointed to me. She was fuming.
"I just bought the car! Do you have no brains? I mean your an overgrown idiot and still playing gully cricket?" A string of curse words escaped her lips, she was yelling at me.
"Pay up," She finished her breathless rant with the two words. I chuckled.
"It ain't my fault you parked your car right there, it's not like I wanted to hit your car." I retorted, I heard a sharp intake of breath from behind me.
"He's dead meat..." A guy whispered not very quietly, and another nodded. I rolled my eyes and stuffed my hands into a pocket, "Fine, give me a few days and I'll pay you,"
She nodded, and left.
"Do you actually plan on paying her?"
"NoPe!" I grinned, the very next day we had yet another match. This time, the ball was smacked into a window. It was again me, who hit it. Once again, 'Ritesh's sister' came out.
"What's her name?" I questioned to the wicket-keeper behind me.
"Riddhi," He responded, I nodded.
"Seriously? You, again!" She groaned. I grinned,
"Fate just can't keep us away." I responded, a tight smile appeared on her face.
"7 days," She repeated, I nodded. 3 Days after, Riddhi was no where to be seen. I'd even hit the ball into her balcony, breaking the glass. An elderly uncle came out instead of her, but his curse words were at the same level.
"Where's Riddhi?" I turned to the wicket-keeper, he shrugged. "Don't you know? She moved out, she got a job somewhere else." The very next day, I'd left Kerala. I was leaving to Bangalore, for training.

Riddhi's PoV
I sighed, plopping down on my couch in my brand new apartment. It was so odd, so silent. I was used to hearing glass shatter but now.. I heard a squeal from my living room, my roommate was watching the IPL. I caught a glimpse of the player, the name read, "Dev."
Frowning, I stared at the TV.
No Freaking Way-
It was the same Gully Boy who'd trashed my car, and my window. I couldn't help it, I laughed. Just for his sake, I watched him play. The very next day, I heard the sound of glass shattering. I ran out onto the balcony, and saw the same grinning face.
"So... You gonna stand there or come down here?" He called out, I bit the inside of my lip to stop myself from smiling.
"You still owe me money, Gully Boy." I yelled back, he arched an eyebrow.
"That's my name now?" He questioned, I nodded. "Alright then, Ritesh's Sister."
I came downstairs, ignoring the looks from my roomate. "1 Day left Gully Boy."
He laughed and pointed behind him, it was a bike. "I prefer bikes, Dictionary Of Curse Words."
"Shut up," I rolled my eyes. He ran a hand through his hair. "So.. the coffee is famous around here.. Wanna go try some?"
"Are you asking me out, Gully Boy?" I rolled my eyes,
"Yes, yes I am, Curse Words." He grinned,
"You have 2 hours of my precious time." I responded,
"What's up with you and deadlines." He rolled his eyes, and hopped onto the bike.
"Shut up, and drive."
"Noted,"
