Natasha's POV

1 month ago, the following day after the attack.

Tony decided to make a new meeting, Pepper came fastly yesterday as she received the news, it was finally the time yo make a decision.

You were in a special meeting room, the doors and walls sound proof, the conversation there was strictly confidential.

There was a huge circled table, with many chairs around it, you and your friends said in each one of them, waiting for Tony to arrive.

You noticed everybody's faces, all covered in sadness, trying to don't express it. What happened with Steve broke you all, you never expected for something like that happen so suddenly.

The doors made a sound as Tony entered, all the eyes on the room turned to him, Pepper coming behind, she was still the same, just seemed to have a tan from the Middle East.

They sat side by side, Tony cleared his throat, Pepper took a deep breath and they were about to begin.

-Thank you all for coming.-He said- I know we are all still...shocked with what happened...-You knew Tony was suffering too, but he had that habit to keep everything to himself- But we need to talk about something urgent.

He glanced at Pepper indicating she should continue.

-So...As you know I just got back from Turkey, with many information about Y/N. The information we were seeking for...and I must say...she's extremely dangerous...more than we thought.-She said trying to remain her posture.

-So I was thinking of...-Tony made a pause and looked at the table, like that was a hard sentence for him to speak- Thinking that we should let S.H.I.E.L.D take care of this. I'm going to give Y/N to them.

You almost couldn't hold your jaw, how could he say that? After all that effort, all of sudden just give it all to S.H.I.E.L.D? He didn't even talk to her, didn'f say the truth, imagine the impact that would have in her. Tony was making a huge mistake.

-Give her to S.H.I.E.L.D? Now?-Clint had the same thoughts as you.

-I know that was not the first plan...-Tony tried to explain- But you saw what happened there.

-What about her family?-Sam asked- What are going to tell them? How is Y/N going to acceot this suddenly?

-We need to try something, she's too dangerous.

-Steve just entered a coma. She's worried about him and you're taking her from him?-You finally spoke outraged- That's not a wise decision.

-I'm doing this thinking of the future. Trying to protect everybody.

-And by that you just ignore her needs?-You interjected- This isn't right.

-Natasha you agreed with the plan at first. Why change now?-Bruce asked and you suddenly felt angry with him.

-I agreed as with the first plan.-You corrected- Wich was waiting for Pepper to come, tell Y/N the truth, let her process it, and then make her go to S.H.I.E.L.D by her own will. That's what we agreed.

-It's almost the same, the circumstances just changed.-Tony defended.

-No it's not.-Your voice increased the tone- You are planning to take her, after a shocking episode, where Steve, someone she cares about, just went to coma, and she used abilities she never saw before, all of this happened and you are just givung her to another people to handle. Like she's a problem. I'm against this.

-Natasha you need to understand the damage she has done, you saw with your own eyes- Bruce stated.

-Yes. I saw she saving us. If that's what you wanted to say Banner.-You were irritated already.

-And by that almost killing people.

-But she didn't.- You almost couldn't believe your words. You'd never think about that idea at first, but there you were.

-Natasha I understand what you're talking about- Pepper interrupted calmly-But you need to admit she's a risk. She's still a Hydra's experiment.

-She didn't choose to be one.

-But that doesn't change--

-Pepper come on how can you agree with this?-You were upset with their position- She's just a girl. She has been trying to help us all this damn time.

-Natasha.-Tont spoke serious- Let's separate feelings from bussiness. Okay?

That was the last straw, you git up from the desk and supported your hands on the table.

-I'm not being emotional.-You said loudly.- I'm just putting some sense into your fucking minds. You want her to don't attack people? Fine, do whatever, the mental erasing thing, put her into therapies sessions, I don't know!-You continued- But just don't fucking take her from here now!

-Natasha why don't you sit and- Thor tried to calm you.

-Hell no!-You shouted- Are you forgetting about Steve Rogers? The man who knows that girl better than anyone in this damn room?! Well, he wouldn't agree with your decision either!

-Steve can't say his opinion.-Bruce said the obvious.

-That doesn't mean his opinion doesn't matter!-Your voice echoed around the room.- If he was here he would agree with me.

-That doesn't mean he's right.-Tony spoke against you.

-And you saying you're right doesn't mean you're either.-You noticed the surprised faces on the room.-I always supported your decisions because I thought you were a reasonable guy.- You looked straight into his eyes- But that appearently it's not the case. I won't participate in this.

You got out from the table and walked away, still hearing them calling you.

Outside, already on the hallway someone grabbed your wrist. It was Bruce.

-Natasha wait-He said making you stop.

-What do you want?-You took your arm from him angry.

-I know you got attached to Y/N, everybody did but-

-What?-You couldn't believe in jim- You're telling me that I'm doing this...because I'm attached?

-Nat--

-Bruce I'm doing this because it's the right thing!-You yelled- You're just like Tony! Can't you see that what you're doing it's wrong? I'm not being emotinal, I'm the only one being reasonable at this shit.

He tried to reach your arm again but you avoided it.

-If you are going to insiste in this then don't even bother talking to me.- You saw his eyes sad, you didn't want to hurt Bruce but you couldn't agree with that- I thought you were bettee than this.

-But I-

-Just...Just leave me alone ok?

You left him there.

3 days later

Someone knocked at the door of your room.

You opened to see Tony.

-Can we talk?-

You closed the door at his face without thinking twice.

-Come on Romanoff!-He insisted outside.

-Fuck off!-You shouted.

-I won't send her away!-He said.

You opened the door interested.

-You won't?-You asked curious.

-Not now. Clint and Sam refused the idea as well.

-Thought you were deciding things by yourseld now.

-In my defense Thor and Bruce accepted as well.

-So you realized you were a total jerk now? Or do you still need me to remind you?

He looked down and chuckled.

-Alright. But we need to do something about Y/N.

-And what do you have in mind?

-Tell me more about that therapy idea you had of yours.

Nowadays, at morning before going to see Steve at the hospital.

-Why aren't you letting Y/N see Steve?-You came in like a storm inside the lab where Tony and Bruce discussed about something.

-Good morning for you too.-Tony said in his sarcastic tone as always.

Bruce didn't say a word, you just exchanged awkward looks at each other, you haven't talked with him it's been a month.

-Because she's dangerous. Who knows what she might do with him?-Tony answered.

-It's Steve we are talking about. She wouldn't attack him. And he's in coma!-You insisted.

-Still, she can't control her powers.

-She misses him!

-Why all the drama? Just because she misses her friend?

-Sometimes I don't know if you are stupid or just pretend to be.-You facepalmed.- Look what if I go with her?

-No.

-Thor could go with her.

-No.

You bit your lip angry and left the lab. You were taking Y/N to see Steve. Them wanting it or not.

At the afternoon yu went to the lab again, you knew Bruce had access to the hospital floor, you didn't want to do that but it was necessary.

-What are you doin'?-You came closer and looked over his shoulder.

-Just...studying brain activety related to materia...Why?-He answered like that was the most simple thing in the world.

-Nothing...Just curious.-You lifted your shoulders.

-Thought you wanted to be alone.-He was still mad at you.

-I didn't intend to be cruel Nat.-He already started apologizing before you could say anything- I thought it was the right decision. I didn't want Y/N to be thrown away like nothing...I just was going with the data.

He came closer with puppy sorry eyes.

-Can you forgive me?

You sighed.

-You mean so much to me. You know that right?-He holded your hands.-Please Nat...

Time to make the plan to work. Even if that went against the moral codes.

You pulled Bruce into a kiss, his eyes surprised widely opened but then close, accepting and embracing, as you heated more the kiss.

His hands making his ways through your body as yours searched into his lab coat.

He started kissing your neck, but you remained focused, while Bruce was already moaning craving for attention, your hands now at his pocket and...The card!

You put the card in a pocket in your jacket and quickly separated from him.

-Quick question.-You said while catched his breath.- Would you still do it?

-What?

-Send Y/N to S.H.I.E.L.D while Steve's in coma?

-You know he probably won't wake up...

-So you would??

-Nat I-

-Shit Bruce!-You raged and pushed him away.

-We can't just keep her!

-Don't say this like she's a pet to keep! She is a human, she has a life!

-Please Nat let's not fight over this-

-No we won't. This conversation is over. Have a good day.-You left the lab, almost  breaking the glass doors as you closed them.

At least you got the card.

Now

-What the fuck- you said as you saw Steve there, awaken.

He was about to say something when a siren started, some sort of alarm set when he'd wake up.

Quickly you saw a medical crew arriving, pulling you and Y/N away and circling Steve to know what happened.

-How? That's impossible!-They talked to each other.

-Y/N-You heard Steve calling her in the middle of that crowd.

That's when Tony and Bruce arrived, running, breathing hars from the rush, still in their sleep clothes.

Tony stared at you astonished, then his eyes stopped at Y/N, not believing on what you have done. But he didn't talk. He was too surprised by Steve waking up for that.

He made his way through the crowd, shouting for them tot get away from his path and could see his friend.

-Steve...-He muttered.

-Tony, how long have I been like this? These people are so...schocked.-Steve then noticed his friend's face- You too.

-Steve you have been in coma for one month. Just breathing because of the machines. You were pratically dead.

-Oh...wow...-Was his answer-Well...For  someone who stayed asleep for 80 years I'm not really surprised...

You could hear Tony giving a weak laugh, you knew that he was happy to see Steve.

-Uh...Tony?-Steve asked.

-Yes?

-Where's Y/N? She was here just a second ago...

Tony looked back at you and Y/N staying by the door, he sighed admitting he lost.

-Y/N come here.-He said and she quickly went after Steve, her eyes sparkling wigth happiness.

-How did this happen?-Bruce asked you.

-Y/N.-You answered.- And you were worried she might do something bad to him...- You sniffed and left the room. Your job has been done.
