Y/N's POV

You both arrived at the hotel, it was already night, you walked through the hallway, you stopped by your room's door before entering.

-Well...good night.-You told Steve.

-Uh....Yeah, good dreams.-He said and you entered closing the door.

You got out of those clothes, changed for something more comfortable, then spotted the hotel's bath hobby, you put and felt fancy. You lied on your bed tired, but still not being able to sleep.

Steve's POV

You were at your room, lied in bed, you couldn't stop thinking of how she was, if she was okay. Today she went pretty well, but she felt bad at the end, did she get really better?

You heard a noise on the other room, you remembered she was just by the other side of the wall, probably sleeping peacefully, maybe in her underwear...

-Steve stop.-You told yourself avoiding those thoughts.

You rolled to the other side trying to sleep, but you kept imagining what she was doing, she said goodbye weirdly before, maybe she wanted you to stay with her? What are you thinking?! No, of course not.

You rolled to the other side. You just realized you've never stayed alone like that with her, speacially at night. Everybody you knew kilometers distant from you.

You couldn't hold yourself anymore, the unquiet curiosity made you get up from the bed and open your door, feeling the cold breeze out.

You walked, each step making you feel you were commiting a sin, and begging for forgivness. You couldn't believe you were doing that, maybe what they say it's true, man will be man, no matter what. It's in your nature, in your blood.

You hesited for a second, standing in front of her door. But it was just that second, you closed your eyes and knocked at the door.

You heard steps inside, then, the door unlocked and opened. Revealing Y/N in the hotel's hobby, her legs exposed and her hair loose.

-Steve?-She asked.

The vision of her like that made you shake, trying to stand on both your feet while being polite by not startinh at her.

-Uh...Hi-Was what you could say.

-Why are you here? I thought you were sleeping.

-I...I couldn't.-You didn't say the reason- I just wanted to see if you were alright, I should go now, sorry for waking you up.

You were already turning to leave whem she stopped you:

-Wait.-She said and you turned to her- I couldn't sleep either-She chuckled- Do you...-She wondered her eyes inside the room then back at you- Do you want to enter?

You burned inside.

-I...I....No, you should try to sleep, I must go--

-Please Steve.-She said- There's no problem, I'd actually like to have you here.

Her Y/E/C met yours, you couldn't say no to them, you nodded and you both headed inside, she closed the door behind you, then went to her bed, sitting at the edge and tapping next to her.

-Sit here-She offered.

You were relunctant but did it, sitting next to her.

-Do you want to watch something?-She said giving you the remote control to the TV.

-I...Don't know...-You started surfing through the channels.

It was like the universe conspired against you, to make you loose control that night.

Couples in one channel, then a romantic scene at other, a sex scene in other, a hot dialogue in another. You quickly turned the TV off.

-Nothing you like?-She asked.

-Not really...-You lied.

-I see...-She said, moving on her seat, making the bed shake a little, you tried to stay mute, not make anything to reveal what you felt.-Steve...

-What?-You asked afraid.

-Why are you wearing a coat? Isn't it kind of hot here?

It was. Indeed it was. Maybe nit for the same motives as her. But you felt like it. But you put the coat to make sure you were appropriate for a night visit, since you were in a sleevless shirt.

-No...I'm alright.-You lied.

-You are sweating Steve.-She said- Let me help you- She weny back at you and slowly took your coat, her hands touching a little your arms. Then putting her coar aside.-See? Better.

-Thanks...

She stayed next to you again. You both silent. A silence like a torture.

-Steve...-She leaned to you, a malicious smile between her seducing lips.

-W-What?-You stuttered.

-We should...-She started saying.

-No...We-We shouldn't Y/N-You hushed interrupting her.

-I know you want it too Steve-She gave an evil smirk, you heart almost getting out of your chest.

-Still....It's not right...I-I don't think--

-No one will know-She insisted.

-I...I don't think I'm ready for that...

-I'll help you don't worry-She said staring at you.

Then put the hotel menu at your lap, while she went back to the hotel's telephone.

-Wait what?-You asked confused.

-We need to ask for room service and put on Tony's account!-She said excited.

-Room....Service...-You said astonished of your dirty mind. She wanted food Steve. Just that.

You sighed relieved, then chuckled.

-So? What do you want?-She asked.

-Hm...We had a big day today, we should really celebrate, and since it's Tony's Bill-You smirked.

-Oh my God, he has an evil side-She joked.

Y/N's POV

It was a lot of food, but you were happy, actually you ate more than Steve, he seemed pretty impressed by your apetite, even though he knew you could eat a whole pizza in just a matter of seconds.

-What a mess-He chuckled looking at you.

-What?-You smiled

He cleaned a spot next to your mouth witch sauce, while he laughed.

-You look like a child eating.-He made fun.

-And you look like a grandpa-You gave him another chicken wing- Eat more.

-I'm satisfied.

-You need to eat to be healthy and strong-You lifted your arms like you had imaginary muscles.

-Just this one-He agreed and started eating.

-This trip was actuslly very nice. Thanks for coming with me.

-I liked it too.

You both smiled. You heard a loud sound outside, the rain started pouring.

You went next to the big windows and observed outside, touching the glass, feeling the cold material in your fingers.

Steve came next to you, standed and observed the rain too.

You slided your fingers through the window, the water drops following your hands as you passed through the glass, you noticed Steve staring impressed.

He didn't say a word, just stayed in silent, while the rain continued and the water drops followed your fingers in the glass, like iron in magnets.

Steve put his hand on the glass but nothing happened, he chuckled, you grabbed his hand and put on the surface again, now with your on his, and all the raindrops nearby followed. His mouth opened a little, like he couldn't believe it, and you must say, you didn't know either. Maybe it was just eletricity, or a coincidence.

Steve's warm hand still touching yours, as you both played with the water outside, and stared at the big and bright city. You glanced at him for a second, a pure and genuine smile in his face, innocent like a child. It was rare to see moments with Steve like that, it wss just, pure happiness. Something he didn't have in a while.

You turned your eyes back to the city, but didn't take his hand from yours, he kept it there, even though you weren't playing with the water anymore, just staring at the rain pouring and ejoying that silent moment of peace between you both, as the contact of your skin stayed there, warm, in the cold glass.

Tony's POV

-Careful with that-Bruce said as you put the recipients on the pannel to analyze them.

-Do you think Y/N's okay?-You asked.

-She's with Steve, there's nothing to worry about-Bruce said while mixing the two substances.

-Yeah...

-You wanted her gone to make your experiment right? That's why you asked her to go to that conference? So, it went well, don't worry.

-You are probably right...Just go worried.-You said while looking at the numbers on the computer- Steve is a gentleman...Right?

-Why are you asking that?

-Um...I mean...Just the two of them...In the night...

-Tony it's Steve we are talking about.

-I know.

-And didn'r you want him dating her? Why the sudden change of  mind?

-It's not that I wanted him dating her. It's that I needed someone to distract her.-You said giving Bruce the becker.-After what happened with Tin Arm...I don't want her to be sad again or hurt, sice she will have to leave.

-That's so sweet of your part-He teased you.
