"All hail our leader, the red sovereign himself... Housewarden Riddle!"

"We salute you Housewarden Riddle!"

M/n watched as Riddle strode down the aisle in all his elegance. While watching he wondered how Riddle could even walk in those heels. In grass no less. Riddle started speaking to Trey.

"Hm. The garden roses are red, and the tablecloths are white. This seems like a proper unbirthday party indeed. Is there a dormouse in the teapot as there should be?"

'Oh, how unsanitary-" No one saw but M/n grimaced at the thought of rat tea. At least he thought no one saw. Cater came over to him and said that they obviously don't drink from that teapot. Regardless he wasn't going to have any tea.

"Those are some really fancy clothes!" Grim said which broke all attention away from the housewardens.

"Yep these are Heartslabyul dorm clothes. Aren't they super cool? At the forefront of fashion, and they look great on Magicam." Cater then flicked his pen, then a burst of light came. M/n was about to ask what he did but then he saw his clothes changed. So he didn't say anything. He kinda liked the look but it didn't really fit unfortunately.

"Queen of Hearts rules mandates formal dress on party days" Cater smiled at the work he did. 

"Whoaa!"

"Looking sharp!"

"So cool!"

M/n smiled briefly at the idiots behavior. He would never admit it out loud be he though they looked pretty cool. Grim with his new bow too. 

"As they say clothes maketh the man. You all look fantastic!" Yuu, sadly was the only one without cool clothes. 

"Now lets tear this party up! Oh and dont forget to give Riddle the tart Ace!" Cater spoke to the freshman before he grabbed M/n to find a seat with him.

"Before we begin the croquet tournament let us make a toast. Does everyone have their tea cup?" A collection of nods and yeahs came from some of the dorm members. M/n picked up his (empty) cup and waited for Riddle to continue.

"On this most significantly unauspicious of days, I bid everyone in attendance a very merry unbirthday."

"To a very merry unbirthday!" Everyone yelled and took sips from the cups.

"Ace this is your chance!" Cater motioned Ace to go to Riddle. So he did.

"Uh..Housewarden sir?.."

"Ah its you. The tart thief." Riddle narrowed his eyes at the freshman.

"Heh- Yeah so I wanted to apologize for eating that tart..So we made a new one to replace it."

"Hm. What kind of tart is it?"

"You know what? I am so glad you asked! Its a chestnut tart. I swear we weren't stingy with the chestnuts."

"..."

'This isn't going to end well..' M/n thought as he looked down at the table cloth.

"A CHESTNUT TART?!"

"What?!"

"Queen of Hearts rule #562: One must never bring a chestnut tart to an unbirthday tea party. This is an utterly flagrant rule violation! Do you understand what you have done?!"

'And there it is.'

"You have ruined an otherwise perfect unbirthday!"

"R-rule 526!" Everyone was stunned. 

"You have these all memorized!? How many rules even are there?" Yuu was in absolute shock just like everyone else. It was rather strange how one individual could remember that much. 

"There are 810 in all. Every housewarden such as I can remember all of them."

Cater leaned over to Trey who was at their table.

"Wow..this could get bad. Trey were you aware of this?"

"No. But I do think you are aware of something else correct Clover?" M/n finally spoke for the first time sense they had sat down. Trey looked away and ignored M/n. He cleared his throat to answer Cater.

"I had only remembered 350 or so. We really botched this one. Big time.."

M/n looked annoyed at being ignored. He would disregard this now but only because Riddle was getting louder and louder.

"As the housewarden responsible for upholding the Queen of Hearts honor and rigor, this incident cannot simply be disregarded! Throw this tart away and kick these rule breakers out!"

Trey and Cater quickly stood up after that and tried to defend the first years. 

"Housewarden please let me apologize. I was the one who made the suggestion of this tart." Trey walked closer to Riddle to try and calm him down.

"Yeah! I was part of it too we had no idea there was a rule about it!" Cater quickly followed Trey to try and aid his attempts of calming down the furious housewarden. Riddle saw them getting closer and stepped back a little. 

"The issue is not the tart itself! The issue is that you brought it here! TODAY! That is the transgression."

"How could you be so mean after all his hard work on that? How can you even live by all these rules anyway.? It's RIDICULOUS and FOOLISH!"

M/n inhaled sharply. He had reminded Yuu it was better not to get involved with other dorms affairs. But does ANYONE listen to M/n? No they didn't. And it was quite insulting. He had enough. The more they were yelling and begging the more annoyed M/n was getting. 

"Did you just call me..foolish?" 

"Everyone stop! Dont dig this hole any deeper! And Riddle, please just remember that these are freshman, they haven't even been here a week yet!" Cater was trying desperately to calm everyone down. But to no avail. Ace just had to open his big mouth again.

"No dude. I've got a shovel and I'm digging! Throwing away some tart just to obey some stupid rule is foolish as it gets." Deuce had to chime in too..

"I agree with Ace. I am aware that rules need to be followed but..This is going much too far!"

"Are you trying to debate me..?" Riddle glared at the two. "Bold move. But I'll bite. By even breaking the smallest of rules, you are throwing the entire gates of anarchy wide open."

"Everyone I know you know this is insane! Are you scared because you dont want to get your magic sealed away?!"

Everyone stayed silent. M/n stood up being unnoticed and walking to the commotion. Riddle was telling everyone off. It was getting messy and out of anyone's control.

"I am the most correct! If you would simply obey without question, it would not contend so." Then Riddle started to mumble to himself. 

"It's not off with their heads because I want them to, it's to make sure another rule is never broken ever again! If you won't obey me then it will be off with all of your heads!" Cater then started to get even more nervous by the second. His seemingly permanent smile even started to fade as time passed. 

"Alright everyone lets just say 'Yes Housewarden' and get this over with and forget about it.."

"I cant.."

"Me either!"

"I dont bow to self important tyrants!" 

"...What did you just call me?" 

"He's calling you a tyrant for throwing a tantrum and throwing away good food." That was it. The last Ramshackle student got involved. It was silent for a moment then..

"OFF WITH YOUR HEADS!"

The previously uncollared rebellious students now had one around their necks.

"Trey! Cater! Eject them from the premises immediately!" 

 "Yes Housewarden.."

"Wow I did not expect you guys to give up so easily. How..impressive."

M/n finally intervened and stared directly at Riddle. 

"I thought you had kept true to your word Rosehearts. I truly did. But now you go collaring more of your students. Well I've finally had enough. The deal we made has been broken. Me personally, I think these rules are revolting. Your devotion is admirable...but not needed."

"I-" Riddle was not mad anymore but sad and at a loss for words. His anger had blinded him and now he had gone and done something stupid. But upholding order was more important. And he planned to let M/n know that. He opened mouth to speak but was quickly shut down by M/n.

"Save your breath. You only have so much. Now Clover and Diamond, release them." They did. Then he looked at the freshman. 

"You guys come here. We are going." They also followed after their professor. When they had exited the courtyard M/n smiled to himself.

There..now he wasn't ignored..
