ARMAND DUQUESNE WAS dead in his living room. Kate discovered his body and immediately left before one of his assistants arrived.

It was the first time she'd seen a dead body and a vast amount of blood on the floor. She tried to get the image out of her head as she bolted through the streets, panting through the face covering of the Ronin costume.

Kate stopped and caught her breath. Suddenly, a van parked nearby flashed its headlights and got her attention. A few Tracksuit Draculas came out holding melee weapons.

"Where do you think you're going?" One of them called out after Kate ran the other way. "We just want to talk!"

Another van in the street she ran through started and drove up to her. More of the Draculas came out to confront her.

"We got eyes everywhere." One spoke.

"We missed you, Ronin."

Ivan came out of the van and walked up to the girl. "We got you now, bro."

"Why you making it so tough on us, bro?" Another exclaimed.

They surrounded her and seemed to be waiting for her to do the first move. She did and swung at one of the Draculas. The man parried her hit and punched her in the stomach, but Kate ended up trapping his arm and throwing him against a car.

Another Dracula kicked her in the abdomen and she hit the side of a car. He grabbed her head as she stumbled and landed a couple more hits on her stomach, but Kate escaped his hold and elbowed him in the face.

Ivan grabbed her from behind and tried putting her in a chokehold. Another man ran up to hit the subdued Ronin but Kate kicked him away. She then hit Ivan in the groin and pulled his head toward a nearby car, where Ivan slammed onto the hood.

Kate grabbed a set of keys that one of the Tracksuits dropped and tried the doors of the parked cars nearby. Finally, she found the correct one and entered it, locking the doors before they can try to open them.

Ivan and another Dracula elbowed the windows to try and break in. One even leaped onto the hood of the car and tried kicking in the windshield. Ultimately, Ivan broke the window with a punch.

Before he can grab Kate, someone hit Ivan outside and he fell to the floor. The other man by the passenger's side was attacked too. The Dracula on the hood was tripped and fell off the car.

The hooded man leaped off the top of the car and stood over the downed Draculas. He readied himself as they began to get up.

They engaged the hooded man again, but he swiftly parried their attacks with a belt he had. He trapped Ivan's arm and dodged a punch coming from one of the Draculas, which ended up hitting instead.

"Sorrβ€”" He tried to apologize but the hooded man quickly kicked him in the face.

While he fought the three men, another van arrived and five more Tracksuits came out. The hooded man noticed this and let out a huff, realizing the job was going to be way harder and more exhausting than expected. But before they can join the quarrel, they heard something in the sky and looked up.

The red and blue blur came down and kicked two of them in the chest before backflipping toward two others and slamming their heads together.

He landed on all fours and quickly swept the legs of the fifth man. He kipped back to his feet and webbed the criminal to the floor.

"What's with you guys and those tracksuits?" Spider-Man asked. "Sponsored by Adidas?"

One of the Draculas got back up and engaged the hero. He weaved away from his punches and simply kicked him back down. Another one got up and tried attacking as well.

"Should I get a sponsorship?" Y/N dodged another one of his punches and countered with his own, knocking him down. "Imagine me with a PlayStation sticker on my back?"

One Tracksuit bellowed as he swung a bat, but the web-slinger ducked and grabbed the weapon. He took it from his grasp and threw it aside.

"Maybe even Nike, or Beats...maybe even Disney."

Y/N landed a swift axe kick that sent the Dracula to the ground. The first two men he attacked ended up recovering and engaged Spider-Man again.

As they fought, the hooded man ended up defeating the three men he was handling and went over to the car Kate was in. He forcefully pulled her out and basically dragged her across the street. Of course, Y/N noticed this.

He didn't give a quip to the final two. The teenager wrapped it up quickly, grabbing one of the men by the throat and knocking him out with a headbutt. He still held the man's neck as he extended his leg out backward and hit the second Dracula in the face.

They both fell to the floor, unconscious. Y/N immediately ran down the road toward the alley the man was taking Kate into.

Once he arrived, he saw the man with his hood down and already pinning an unmasked Kate to the wall. Out of instinct, Y/N acted and charged toward the man. He tackled him and they rolled across the floor.

"Holy crap!" Kate exclaimed.

The man escaped the grasp during the struggle and got back up. Spider-Man did as well and stared him down. It was then he recognized who he was.

"You're...you're Hawkeye." Y/N spoke.

Clint Barton stared at him as well. "You're that Spider-Kid."

"Oh, my God." Kate muttered. "It's literally Hawkeye and Spider-Man...in front of me."

"Why'd you attack me for?" Clint asked as he rolled his shoulder.

"Well, I see a hooded dude manhandling a girl in a dark alley, I'm gonna want to act." He shot back and then glanced at Kate. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Yeah, I'm fine." She replied.

"I actually saved her." Clint told him.

Y/N put his hands on his waist. "And I saved you. Those five other guys would've kicked your ass, old man. Aren't you like...fifty?"

"Old man." He scoffed and muttered. "These kids love making jokes, huh?"

Clint looked at Kate next, showing her the mask he pulled off of her. "Where'd you get this suit?"

Kate was still rather shocked and speechless at the current situation. Clint sighed and shook his head, also hearing the police sirens in the distance. Y/N heard them too.

"Lookit. We gotta get you out of here. Okay? It's not safe for you to be in this. Do you live near here?" Clint asked her.

"Yeah, I live nearby."

"How close?"

"Pretty close. My...my friend should be there with the dog."

"Fine, take this." He handed her the case. "You're okay, right?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, let's go. Let's leave Bug Boy to deal with the cops." Clint replied and started to walk with her.

"Ouch. Is it because I called you old?" Y/N asked as they walked away.

He didn't respond and escorted the still-shocked Kate out of the alley. Y/N knew they were on their way back to her apartment, so the young man swung away to get their first.

β€’ β€’ β€’

THE TWO ARCHERS entered the apartment. As Kate expected, she saw the dog with Y/N. The boy was sitting down, wearing his tuxedo albeit now without the suit jacket.

"You're back." He told her, and upon seeing Clint, he acted as if he was surprised. "Uh...is thatβ€”?"

"I know! It's Hawkeye!" Kate in a loud whisper. "This day just keeps getting even more insane."

Clint closed the door and muttered to himself. "Great. Even more kids."

The older man walked in and passed by the dog. It panted and laid near an empty pizza box.

"Some guard dog y'all have." He remarked.

"Oh, he's, uh, not my dog." Kate responded and put the leather bag down.

"Nice place you have here."

"Yeah, I inherited it."

"What are you, eighteen?"

"I'm twenty."

"Yeah, same thing." Clint shrugged and looked at Y/N. "And what are you? In high school?"

"Uh...I was?" He replied in an unsure manner.

Clint let out a chuckle. Y/N decided to shoot back with a quip.

"And what are you, like fifty?"

The older man shot the boy a look. Upon hearing that joke, it took him back to not even ten minutes earlier...when Spider-Man made the same remark. He arched a brow as he stared at Y/N.

"Dude, be nice." Kate nudged Y/N on the shoulder. "It's Hawkeye. An Avenger."

Clint looked at Kate. "So, wanna get that vest off, so I can get going?"

She looked down at the costume she was wearing. "Yeah. Yeah, I'll...I'll be right there."

Kate picked up the bag and made her way upstairs to change. The young woman whispered to herself as she did.

"Totally cool. Just stay cool. The Hawkeye in my place."

Clint looked back at Y/N, who just stood there with hands in his pockets. The boy glanced at him but looked away as he whistled.

"Sorry about the old man joke earlier." The teenager apologized. "You don't look a day over...forty-ish."

The former S.H.I.E.L.D agent and spy studied him for several more seconds in silence before turning back around. He grabbed the Ronin mask on the table and called out to Kate upstairs.

"Where'd you get the suit?" He asked.

"Black market auction."

"And you bought it."

"No. Not exactly."

"Uh-huh." Clint paced around and looked at a crate of trophies belonging to her. "So, what all did you do in this suit?"

"I beat some guys up. Saved the dog. Some light B and E. Actually helped Spider-Man beat said guys up back there."

"Really?" Clint glanced back at Y/N, who was watching him as he paced. "You the only one that wore it or did you let your friend here try it on too?"

"Oh, no. He was outside with the rest of the party guests the entire time. He didn't know about it until I told him."

"Yeah...why would he want this suit?" He kept looking at Y/N as he spoke to her. "He already had his."

Y/N kept looking at Clint Barton. It was then he realized the archer deduced who he was. It shouldn't have come as a surprise, the man was a former spy and worked with Natasha Romanoff for many years. The boy's secret wasn't hard to unveil...just based on his mannerisms and attitude.

"A tuxedo, of course." Clint added with a smirk.

Y/N looked back down, not saying a word to the man. Clint kept speaking to Kate upstairs.

"Twenty-year-old vigilante. Shouldn't you be in school?"

Kate scoffed. "Funny you should ask."

She walked downstairs, now out of the suit and in a baggy purple shirt and pants. She also held one of her bows and a sharpie.

"So, uh, now that I've answered all of your questions, I have so many for you. Uh, starting with..." He held up the bow. "Can you sign this?"

Y/N stifled a laugh from where he was standing. Kate shot him a glare before looking back at Clint.

"I'm not done yet." He butted.

"But when you are, can you sign my bow? You're kind of my favorite Avenger."

"Are you okay? By the way?"

"I'm good. Oh, yeah, no, I'm fine. You should see the other guys."

"I did. Tracksuit Draculas."

Y/N looked up upon hearing their name. That was something he'd have to take note of. And, of course, Clint noticed the boy's sudden interest.

"That's their name?" Kate asked. "That's a weird pairing of words."

All Clint did was nod. Kate continued.

"Are they the ones that killed my mom's fiancΓ©'s uncle?"

Clint raised a brow. "Your mom's fiancΓ©'s uncle?"

"Armand III. Of at least seven."

"Ah."

Y/N looked at Kate. "Armand's dead?"

"Oh, yeah. I found him...in his living room." She replied rather shakily, thinking back at the bloody scene.

"I do not know." Clint answered her question. "But what I need to know is if anybody saw your face?"

"No. Kept the mask on like a pro." She replied.

"Okay. Because the person that wore this suit made a whole lot of enemies. All right? And the Tracksuits are just one of them."

"That doesn't sound good."

"You told nobody about this suit?" He nodded his head toward Y/N. "Aside from your boyfriend here?"

"He'sβ€”He's not..." She stammered and shook her head. "No. Just him."

"There's no way you're connected to this suit whatsoever?" He asked.

"That's right."

"I need you to be sure."

"I am."

"Certain?"

"Yes."

"The Tracksuits must've followed you from the auction to where I found you. Did you stop anywhere before that?"

"I just left the dog with Y/N."

Suddenly, a voice shouted from outside.

"Hey, Kate Bishop!"

They all looked back toward the window. Kate turned around and grimaced.

"And my name's on the buzzer."

Y/N's spider-sense went off. He was aware of the incoming Molotovs and leaped toward Kate.

"Get down!"

He grabbed her and they ducked their heads. A bottle crashed through the window and hit the floor, spreading fire across it. Clint sprinted to the window and saw the Tracksuits outside.

"We got a little surprise for you, bro!"

"Show yourself!"

"Come on! Throw it!"

They threw another Molotov cocktail, but Clint broke the window and caught the bottle. He threw it back and it shattered in front of them.

Another Dracula tried to throw another cocktail, but an arrow shot it out of his hand. Clint looked back and saw Kate with her bow.

"Told ya." She said.

World's greatest archer, he remembered her saying. "Yeah."

Y/N, Clint, and Kate stood beside each other looking ahead at the living room that was ablaze. Within the flames was the Ronin suit.

"I gotta get the suit." Clint said.

Kate immediately aimed her bow and arrow at the fire extinguisher on the wall and shot it. The pressurized capsule began to spill and it detached from the wall, ricocheting off other walls before flying out the window.

"Nice shot...I guess." Y/N remarked.

Kate looked up the stairs and saw the dog whining. At that moment, Y/N's spider-sense went off again. He caught another Molotov that was thrown through the window without looking. Clint noticed his reflexes.

"Uh...I'd throw it back, but...I'm a pacifist." Y/N lied and put it down.

Clint ignored his remark and spoke to Kate. "You have a fire escape?"

"My home!" Kate exclaimed and looked around her apartment. "All my stuff!"

"Just grab the dog and go!"

They ran up the stairs and took the dog.

"What about the suit?" Kate asked.

"Leave it. We'll come back for it."

Clint and Kate ran with the dog down the platform toward the exit. Y/N looked back, seeing his friend's home ablaze. He shook his head and followed them out.

β€’ β€’ β€’

THEY MADE IT to a drug store in the city as Clint wanted to acquire supplies. He took a couple of boxes of Neosporin and cotton swabs from a shelf. Kate and Y/N were behind him with the dog on a leash.

Kate sighed and looked at Y/N. "Not gonna lie to you, Hawkeye's a bit of a letdown."

"Sorry to disappoint you." Clint overheard her and pointed. "Wanna grab some of that rubbing alcohol over there? Lower shelf."

Y/N held the leash as Kate went over to grab the item. She walked up to Clint and whispered.

"So what's the plan now? Let me guess. We're going to your safe house? Is it in Avengers Tower?"

"No. Tony sold that. A few years ago." He replied and put the items in the basket before walking away.

"Is that true?" She asked Y/N.

He nodded. "Yeah. Qeng Enterprises or...something like that."

"Wow. That's very sad on so many levels."

They regrouped with Clint in line in front of the counter. The dog whined and licked the older man's hand.

"What do you what with me? Ugh." He looked at Kate. "Go find him a treat or something."

She sighed. "All right."

Kate walked away to find something for the dog in the aisle. Y/N stood behind Clint as he held the dog's leash.

"Cannot believe I'm babysitting two teenaged vigilantes." Clint muttered.

Y/N let out a chuckle and spoke quietly. "Guess there's no use in hiding it, huh?"

"Nope. Does she know?"

"Nope."

"I figured."

"And I'd like to keep it that way...at least for now."

Clint kept looking forward. "Kid, that is none of my business."

Kate rejoined the two and had a small bag of dog treats. She put it in Clint's basket.

"Look, I gotta find a place to stash you. Safe." He spoke to Kate. "So I can recover the suit and clean your mess."

"Stash me? I'm not a bag of money." Kate replied.

"No, you're not. A bag of money'd be useful to me." Clint shot back, then feigned a smile as he went up to the clerk to pay for the items.

Kate spoke to him as he was at the counter.

"I actually do know a place about ten blocks away. Would a bag of money know a place?"

The trio and the dog arrived at an apartment building in Alphabet City. It was where her aunt lived, and since she was in Florida for the holidays, Kate felt like it was the best place to lay low.

She picked the lock and entered the room. Clint went in first as the woman turned on the light.

"Are there cats in here?" He asked with a sniff.

"No, just cat hair." She answered.

"Hawkeye's allergic to cats?" Y/N questioned jokingly.

They walked into the kitchen as the archer responded. "Yeah."

He put down the bow and set the plastic bag on the table. Clint took the items out.

"Here. I need you to clean your wounds. Use this. Use soap, this, and disinfect. If you need help, I'm sure your friend can lend a hand." He started making his way to the door. "All right. I'm going back to your apartment to get that suit. And then I'm going back to my kids."

"Oh, yes, Clint, you may enter my apartment." She replied sarcastically. "Don't you need my keys?"

"Nope. I'm good. Stay here. Lock this door."

Clint left the room, leaving Kate staring at the door and letting out a sigh. Y/N sat on the sofa with the dog now out of his leash.

He looked back and saw Kate grabbing a bowl from the cupboard. She then went to another and took out a cereal box.

"All this action putting you in a snacking mood?" He asked.

"The last food I had was a sandwich at the shelter yesterday. And that was...like...at noon." She replied and sat down at the table.

Y/N got up and went over to the girl. He looked at the supplies and then at the wound on her head. Immediately, it reminded him of the one MJ sustained on Liberty Island. He let out a soft sigh.

"You...you know how to treat that?" He asked as he pointed at his head.

"I mean...you just put a bandaid on it, right?"

"If you want it to get infected." He replied and picked up some of the items. "Like the old man said, gonna have to use the alcohol."

She watched as he unpacked some of the things and opened the bottle.

"Didn't know you were first aid certified." She remarked.

Y/N thought back at the many injuries he sustained through the years as Spider-Man. From encounters with thugs, to Vulture, Shocker, Poindexter, Thanos, Mysterio...Green Goblin. He had an enhanced healing factor but that didn't stop his bones from breaking and gashes from bleeding.

"I...I had to learn." He replied, which is all he was able to say.

He pulled up a chair and sat beside her. Y/N started to gently disinfect her cut with a cotton swab.

"It's not that deep. Lucky you." He remarked.

She winced at first but bared with the stinging. Y/N muttered a quiet sorry as he continued applying first aid.

"Now for the bandaid." He said, grabbing and starting to apply it. "Clint got these special ones. It's gonna close it and help it cinch."

"Cinch?" She asked.

"Eh, synonym for secure, or stitch, or fix. Something like that."

She chuckled. "Smart word for someone who ditched high school."

"Maybe I was just too good for it." He replied.

Y/N finished applying the bandaid. His face was in front of Kate's, close enough that they could feel each other's breaths. For a moment, the two stood still as they stared into each other's eyes.

The boy blinked a few times before backing away. "That good?"

"Yeah." She quickly replied after snapping out of her trance.

"Cool." He looked around the room. "Uh...maybe you should get something cold to put on it. Keep the swelling down."

Y/N got up and went toward the fridge. There, he grabbed a box of frozen pizza from the freezer. He handed it to her.

"No ice packs, but this should be all right."

"And it'd thaw out breakfast for..." She glanced at the dog in the living room. "Pizza Dog."

"Pizza Dog?" Y/N asked with a chuckle.

"I don't have a good name for him yet. Look at it as a sort of title of nobility."

"I like it."

There was a moment of silence as Y/N sorted the items on the table. She looked up at the boy.

"Thanks." She pointed at her bandaid. "For this."

"Of course." He replied with a smile, fiddling with the ring on his finger before looking back down.

"Uh...I guess I'll..." Kate grabbed a notepad from the table. "Sketch how the douchebags on the street looked like."

"You remember them?"

"Yeah. Not that good at drawing, but I'll try."

She began to draw and suddenly received a call. It was her mother, Eleanor. Kate answered it and spoke to her.

"Hey, Mom. Yeah, I'm fine."

Y/N nodded and chose to respect her privacy. Kate got up with the phone and notepad in hand as she moved to the living room. The boy sat in the kitchen and went through his phone.

Sometime later, Clint came back to the apartment. Kate was finishing the call with Eleanor and bid farewell to her.

"I love you." She said.

"I love you too."

After she hung up, Clint spoke to the young lady as he washed his hands in the kitchen.

"When did everyone start saying I love you to everybody all the time?"

"That was my mom. Since when did your heart shrink three sizes?" She shot back.

"When a little girl in a ninja costume stole my Christmas."

"What were you going to do anyway? Drink some eggnog and watch Home Alone?" Y/N asked.

"More like opening gifts with my three kids and wife on my nice secluded property." He dried his hands and sat at the table. "While you probably were going to be stuck doing a shift at Starbucks or something."

Y/N scoffed. "Ouch."

Clint looked at Kate as she walked back into the kitchen to join the two men. The older archer was going to start treating his own injury.

"How's the wound?" He asked her, noticing how she was applying the frozen dinner onto it.

"Uh, all right. Doesn't hurt as much. Y/N helped out with it." She answered.

"Disinfected and cleaned it, right?"

"Yeah." She said and Y/N agreed with a nod.

Clint nodded as well. "First aid educated. That's useful."

"So, how's my place?" She asked.

"Crispy." He simply replied.

"Did you get the suit?"

"No." Clint glanced at the sketchbook on the table. "What's this?"

"Oh, I started to describe, um, what I could remember of the Tracksuits' faces."

He looked at the poor sketches of one of the Draculas. It looked like the big guy, Ivan.

"I guess you're not an art major." Clint remarked.

"Okay." Kate brushed off his statement. "I would offer to buy you a hotel, uh, because, from certain angles, I know this all looks like my fault."

"Correct." He said.

"But my mom canceled my credit cards due to the whole clock tower situation." She added.

"That's not necessary. I'm just gonna be another minute."

"Okay." She weakly waved and started to walk away. "I'll see you tomorrow, I guess."

Clint looked back down and continued with his first aid. Y/N glanced at him for a second before walking into the living room with Kate.

"You should, uh, go home." She told him. "It's about to be five in the morning and my whole situation has kept you up."

"Please, I don't get much sleep anyway." He replied. "You'll be okay here, though?"

"Yeah. Uh, I might not be able to help at the shelter though because of everything, butβ€”"

"I'll talk to Mr. Li, don't worry. Just...if you need anything, call me. All right?"

Kate smiled and nodded. Y/N smiled back and looked at the dog.

"If you need anything or if Pizza Dog does. I'm happy to stop by."

He walked to the door and gave another look at Kate, grinning as he opened it. He then left the apartment. Kate smiled to herself and went back toward the sofa.

β€’ β€’ β€’

AFTER A WHOLE day of escorting Kate and attending a LARPing event, Clint finally acquired the Ronin suit. He wanted to enact a catch and release, something Natasha would often do during missions.

So, Clint let himself get caught by the Tracksuits in the middle of the night. They roughed him up and took him to an abandoned KB Toys store in the city.

He sat in the middle of a dark room, with his hands zip-tied behind his back and a bag over his head. One of the Tracksuits went up to him.

"Wakey, wakey, bro."

He pulled the bag off. They laughed at Clint and the man simply looked around the room.

"Nice place you got here. Not creepy at all." He remarked.

"Hey, hey, hey! You kid. I know you kid. So don't kid, okay? Because it was getting too hard to find place, you know, bro? We can't getβ€”"

"Tomas!" A voice shouted from nearby. Kazi stepped off the platform, still wearing his white face paint. "Stop blabbering for God's sakes."

Clint looked at the second-in-command. "Ah, you're new. The big guy needed a clown or something?"

The Draculas didn't say a word after the man's insult. Kazi chuckled as he walked up to Clint, then punched him across the face.

"Hawkeye..." He said with gritted teeth. "I've always wanted to kill an Avenger...but, unfortunately, I can't do that now because we need the information you have..." He pointed at his head. "...up here."

Clint spat out blood and stared at Kazi. The Clown backed away and folded his hands in front of him.

"Kate Bishop." He spoke.

"I'm...not Kate Bishop." Clint replied.

"Kate Bishop is guy, bro." Ivan added.

Clint shook his head. "Kate Bishop is not guy."

"Kate Bishop is guy in costume. Kate Bishop frolics with the Spider-Man."

"Look. Can I speak to your boss? It's like I'm talking to furniture...and I know the clown isn't because if he was the boss...he would've killed me already. So he must be under someone else."

Kazi scowled and took out a switchblade. "What makes you think I won't maim you before I bring you to her?"

"Ah. So it's a she." Clint nodded and nonchalantly untied his hands.

The Tracksuits and Kazi aimed their guns at the archer. Clint was still unfazed as he threw the zip ties aside.

"Is she around? Can I speak with her?"

"You think everything's a joke, huh?" Kazi exclaimed as he gripped his gun. "It won't be funny when you have to dig your own grave after we're done with you."

"You don't like jokes?" Clint gestured toward his own face. "But you have the whole clown thing going on."

"Where is Kate Bishop?" Kazi shouted, now infuriated.

"I've never met her. I have no idea."

Suddenly, they heard thuds and creaking above. Seconds later, the skylight shattered and somebody fell through, landing in front of Clint. The man sighed, knowing exactly who it was.

It was Kate, in her purple archery get-up and a bow. The Tracksuits aimed their guns at the groaning woman.

"Bro, I found her." Ivan said.

Kate got on her knees and looked up at the men. "Oh, wow. Didn't realize we were supposed to bring guns."

The Tracksuits ended up tying the two archers to two small coin-operated rides. Kazi then walked to the office of his boss and entered the dark, red-lit room. Music came from the speakers as she placed her hands on them.

Maya Lopez seemed to feel the presence and vibrations of her door opening. She looked back and saw Kazi at the door.

"We have them both." He told her with sign language.

Maya nodded and signed back. "Call Aleksei. We need the muscle in case the spider followed."

Kazi obeyed and did as told. Maya turned back around, content with the fact that she was one step closer to avenging her father and taking down Ronin.

β€’ β€’ β€’

IT WAS EARLY in the morning. Y/N had patrolled the streets as Spider-Man to find out more about the Tracksuit Draculas.

He encountered a few of them, and they were happy to give him a lead on their base's location after he dangled them off the Brooklyn Bridge.

He swung to the KB Toys store. Y/N had heard and sensed the commotion inside. He perched onto a streetlight in the parking lot just when the doors burst open. Clint and Kate ran out and made their way to a car.

A couple of Draculas followed and aimed their guns at them. Spider-Man quickly shot web projectiles and knocked them down. Kate noticed the hero above.

"Oh, my God! It's Spider-Man!" She exclaimed.

Clint looked up as well. He didn't hear her exclamation since his hearing aid was damaged during the fight with Maya.

"Oh, look, it's the spider guy. He must really like you." He remarked and continued hot wiring the car.

They entered the car just when more Tracksuits came out. They fired at them but Spider-Man dropped down to fight them.

"We gotta get the hell out of here before they sic that big Russian dude on us." Clint said as he finished hot-wiring the vehicle.

"Talking about Ivan orβ€”?"

Kate was interrupted once they felt the ground shake. Suddenly, the wall to the building broke apart and they saw the large Russian man. He had arrived earlier and served as muscle for the Draculas.

The Rhino.

"...that guy." Kate finished.

Y/N defeated one of the Draculas and turned to see Aleksei. Last he heard, he was in prison, but now he was here sporting some sort of rhinoceros armor.Β

"What the hell?" He exclaimed.

Clint and Kate drove out of the parking lot. Many Tracksuits entered their cars and vans and followed them, with Rhino also sliding his feet like a bull and storming out of the lot.

"Oh, no, you don't!" Y/N said and web-zipped toward him.

Rhino noticed Spider-Man climb onto his back. They stormed through the street.

"Little spider! Ready for a ride?"

"Hey, big guy. Switch the machine guns for the armor now?"

"Suits me better. Now I can squash you!"

Rhino kept running through the streets, crashing through parked cars and stoplights. He ended up crashing through the wall of a warehouse and coming out the other side.

"Ugh...ow!" Y/N groaned.

Rhino made a sharp right and purposely slammed Y/N into another wall while he was on his back. The web-slinger didn't expect it and fell off the criminal.

Rhino stomped on his back and created a crater with Y/N in it. He tried to step on him again, but Spider-Man rolled out of the way. He kipped back up and leaped onto his arm, but Rhino slammed him against the ground and kicked him through another wall.

Y/N groaned amidst the debris. He hadn't fought someone this strong, with brute strength alone, since Thanos. Rhino wasn't as strong as the Titan, obviously, but Y/N felt the same pain.

"I'd crush you some more...but I gotta squash the two other friends of yours!" He ran away. "I'll be back, little spider!"

Spider-Man grunted as he got back to his feet. His suit was pretty worn down now and ripped from the tussle with Rhino. Still, he mustered the strength to leap out of the building and swing away.

Kate and Clint tried to lose the Draculas that were chasing them. The female archer had leaned out of the window and shot many of Barton's trick arrows to slow them down.

They made it to Manhattan Bridge. Maya and Tomas were still on their tail. Kate ended up shooting an arrow inside their car that expelled purple gas and disoriented them.

Clint noticed traffic ahead and braked hard. They stopped the car and looked back, seeing Maya's car totaled on the road. But behind her, was an incoming Rhino.

"Of course." Clint muttered. "I thought bug boy would've handled him."

"What are we going to do?" Kate asked as she looked out the window.

Suddenly, Spider-Man dropped down from the top of the bridge and grabbed Aleksei's horn. The momentum of his dive caused Rhino to hit the floor and they both slid across the tarmac.

Y/N groaned as he stood up, watching Rhino try to get to his feet as well. He quickly shot two web lines on either side of Rhino behind him, stepping back and creating tension.

He got off the ground just when Rhino got to his feet, sling-shotting himself toward Aleksei and kicking him in the chest. The sheer power of the hit hurled Rhino off the bridge, where he fell into the water.

"That'll..." Y/N panted in exhaustion. "That'll do it."

He was near the archers when dealing with Rhino. Y/N stumbled toward them and fell to his knees, in pain and tired from the encounter with the Russian. Kate ran up to the hero and helped him toward the car.

Meanwhile, Clint stared ahead and noticed a Trust-A-Bro truck storming toward them.

"They're gonna crash into us." He told them.

Kate leaped onto the hood of the car. Spider-Man looked at the incoming vehicle and slowly walked forward.

"I...I got this." He said.

Clint held the teenager back. "You've done enough, kid. Stay back." He handed Kate an arrow from his quiver. "Here, take out that truck. Aim high, bring the arrow down on him."

"What's the plan?" Kate drew her bow. "This is just a normal arrow."

"I have no idea what you're saying, just gonna assume you're on board." Clint said as he drew his own bow. "On my mark. Ready?"

After a few seconds, Kate shot her arrow into the sky. Clint shot his moments later, which was a Pym-Tech arrow.

It hit the normal arrow and it grew into a gigantic one, where it dropped onto the back of Kazi's truck, stopping it.

"Holy shit!" Y/N exclaimed.

"That was amazing!" Kate shouted.

Clint didn't hear her. He handed her a USB arrow.

"Take this. Cover me." He said then looked to Spider-Man. "In about twenty-two seconds, you jump off the bridge and get on the train."

"Twenty-two seconds? Whatβ€”?"

"A USB arrow?" Kate asked as Clint ran. "God, I hope he's got a dongle arrow to make this useful."

Clint retrieved his plunger arrow and took cover behind a car. Kate walked forward and called out to the shooting Tracksuits as she held her bow up.

"Don't move! You do not wanna see what this arrow does!"

Maya motioned her men to stop shooting. Once Clint got out of cover and ran back to Kate, she fired the arrow and it hit Ivan. It didn't do anything but bounce off his stomach.

"Follow me!" Clint shouted at Kate.

She ran with him and grabbed his bow, the two holding onto it as they leaped off the bridge. Y/N noticed this and jumped off too.

Clint shot a grappling hook and they swung onto the top of the passing train below the bridge. He stuck a plunger arrow that kept them from falling off. Y/N had stuck to the side and climbed up.

"Ah, now I see what plunger arrows are for." Kate remarked.

Y/N ended up helping them to the top where they basically crawled their way to the back. They entered the window of the back train car and sat inside. There were only a couple of occupants and they looked on in confusion at the two archers and web-slinger.

"Ugh..." Clint sat down beside Kate and sighed. "Good job...both of you."

Y/N didn't respond, only nodding his head as he held his side. He tried sitting down but stumbled to the floor. Kate got up from her seat and helped him sit down.

"Jesus...you're in bad shape." She said as she examined his damaged suit.

"I'm..." He exhaled. "I'm more worried about my dry cleaning at the moment."

"How about we take you back to our safe house? We can patchβ€”"

Kate stopped upon looking down and seeing his left hand. His glove was torn and revealed his fingers, where she saw a familiar-looking ring on him.

The one she gifted Y/N.

The boy glanced down and noticed what she saw. He looked back up, his eyes beneath his mask meeting hers.

"Y/N?" She asked in awe.

He inhaled and nodded. "Hey, Kate."

Clint looked at them, not able to hear what they were saying. He did notice the jewelry on his hand, though. He spoke as Kate was still processing the revelation.

"Nice ring. Wouldn't be wearing that while crime-fighting though. Imagine losing it?" He leaned his head back and sighed. "I learned the hard way once."
