PETER PARKER GAZED at the other Spider-Man in front of him, a confused look beneath his mask.

"Uh...okay..."

One of the metal actuators thrusted towards the other Spider-Man, but he backflipped to avoid it and landed on all fours.

"Doctor Octavius! I know you're still in there somewhere." He pleaded, but the villain ignored him and attacked once more.

Peter shot two web-lines at his assaulting tentacles. He leaped at Doc Ock and started to combat him.

The other Spider-Man was going to help his colleague, but a pumpkin bomb blew up the vehicle near him. He rolled away and looked up at the goblin flying above.

"We meet again, Spider-Man." He said with a menacing grin. The hero noticed he didn't wear his mask and only had a hood over his head.

"Norman..."

"I failed to kill you the first time, I won't make that mistake again." He said with a snarl, then accelerated towards him.

Spider-Man ducked to avoid his glider, then shot a web towards it. It stuck and he tried to pull him back, but Green Goblin accelerated more and broke free, turning around to fire his guns.

Suddenly, Specter flew to the scene and landed a kick at Goblin's back, heaving him off his glider and landing on top of a car. The other Spider-Man looked at Y/N with a surprised look beneath his mask.

He looked back at Spider-Man with the same surprised expression, wondering who this new spider-ling could be. During this, he didn't notice the glider flying back towards them.

"Watch out!" Spider-Man called out, and Specter quickly flipped over it. The glider came back to Norman and he mounted it again.

He looked at the two heroes before glancing over at Doc Ock who was fighting the younger Spider-Man.

"This isn't over!" He yelled, and then glided away from the bridge. As Doc Ock held Peter, he looked over at his fellow villain flying away. He threw the hero aside and leaped off the bridge to flee as well.

Y/N and the other Spider-Man stood next to one another as they caught their breath. Peter walked over to regroup with them.

"Okay...I don't know what the hell just happened." He turned to face the other Spider-Man, "Then you show up and now I'm even more confused."

He looked back at the young man and immediately took off his mask.

A/N: From here on out I'll be putting (Actor Name) next to Peter or Spider-Man to differentiate between characters.

Peter (Tom), retracted his own mask in return and widened his eyes. Peter (Tobey) began to speak.

"I came to help. I am as confused as you are."

"How'd you know we'd be here?" Y/N asked him.

"The wizard told me."

"Wizard?" Peter (Tom) questioned.

Y/N immediately knew who he was referring to. "Strange."

The young man nodded after realizing as well. The older Peter (Tobey) looked back at Y/N, the current situation was strange. "I know, it is."

"No." Peter (Tom) began. "That's his name. Doctor Strange."

"Doctor Strange? Is he a real doctor?"

"Used to be."

"We should go see what he wants then. It's gonna be a long trβ€”" Y/N was interrupted when a portal started opening in front of them. Through it, they saw the Sanctum Sanctorum.

Peter (Tobey) glanced around. "Is he eavesdropping or something? I can see why he's Strange."

The three stepped through the portal, making it to a room with the large window displaying the Seal of the Vishanti. Doctor Strange was looking out of it.

"Stephen?" Y/N called out as the sorcerer turned around.

"L/N. Parkers." He greeted as he started walking towards them. The two Spider-Men were still confused on how there were two of them.

"You have to start explaining what the heck is going on." Peter (Tom) said.

Strange exhaled. "Follow me."

The four walked through the hallways of the Sanctum. Peter (Tobey) looked at the many artifacts in awe as they passed through. Finally, they made it to a room with a stone globe in the middle of it.

"A few days ago, I sensed a disturbance..." Strange began as he neared the globe.

"A disturbance?" Y/N asked.

"Like...in the force?" Peter (Tom) chimed in, which garnered an eye roll by the other Peter (Tobey). He was more of a Star Trek fan.

"A disturbance in not only our realm, but many others." Strange continued, turning the globe and displaying separate strands of what seemed to be light.

"Like Asgard?" Peter (Tom) asked, then realized they now resided on Earth, "Oh, wait, it got destroyed."

Strange took a breath. "Our nine realms aren't they only ones out there. There are more in other universes."

Peter (Tom) immediately remembered Mysterio's lie from earlier this year. But coming from Doctor Strange gave it more validity.

"So you're saying there is a multiverse? Like for real this time?"

Peter (Tobey) raised a brow. "Uh, what?"

"I don't know what caused it." The sorcerer began. "But worlds are colliding. There are rifts in time."

"What can we do to fix it?" Y/N asked.

He paused for a moment. "I wish I knew."

Peter (Tobey) started to piece together the situation. "So is that why I'm here? Why I somehow ended up here a couple days ago?"

"Yes." Strange answered.

"And why those two freaks are in the city?" Peter (Tom) asked referring to Doc Ock and Green Goblin.

Strange nodded. "I fear there's also a possibility more could show up."

Y/N shook his head and the two Spider-Men also expressed their disbelief.

The sorcerer continued. "Which is why I need your help to stop them. Keep things contained while I try to figure this out."

"What? We're your three musketeers or something?" Y/N joked. "If I go along with this will you rethink your decision about the Avengers?"

Strange chuckled before Peter (Tobey) asked him something as well.

"After all this, will I be able to go back?" He thought of his own world. Mary Jane, his daughter, even his protege, Miles. They were people he wanted to go back to.

"I hope so. I'll do the best that I can." Strange answered.

Peter (Tobey) exhaled. "Okay."

"I need a favor first." Peter (Tom) began. "I want my aunt and friends to stay here. And Happy. If the octopus and the goblin know who I am...they might go after them."

The older Peter (Tobey) understood what he was feeling. Y/N agreed with what the young man wanted.

Strange gave a nod, accepting his terms. It was the least he could do for asking him to do such a task.

"Don't worry, Peter. I'll bring them in."

IN AN ABANDONED building on Roosevelt Island, the Green Goblin stood in the middle of the room and removed his hood. He took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts of what had just transpired on the bridge earlier.

Behind Norman, Doc Ock had just entered the area and towered over him. He turned around and looked up at the tentacled man.

"Octavius." He finally greeted despite them fighting together on the bridge.

"Osborn...you're dead. You've been dead for the past two years." He replied.

"From what I've gathered, you've been dead too."

Doc Ock recalled his final moments before suddenly arriving into this new world. The reactor...the river...Spider-Man.

He lowered himself and stood on his own two feet as the tentacles still floated above his shoulders. "How...?"

"I've been here longer than you, Otto. For a brief time I've studied what's been going on. We're here because of one thing...Spider-Man."

Before Doc Ock can respond, another voice spoke and got their attention.

"Spider-Man..."

They looked across the room, seeing an African-American man in a bright yellow electrician's jacket walking in.

Norman smiled. "Mr. Dillon. Great to see you've accepted my offer."

"Anything that involves killing the bug is fine by me."

"Who is this?" Octavius asked.

"Someone who shares our same plight and our same goal." Norman said. "We've all been killed by Spider-Man, and rewarded a second chance. A chance to kill him once and for all."

A small part of Otto's mind tried to resurface the memory of the final moments in his world. Spider-Man didn't kill him, he sacrificed himself. But the tentacles controlled his mind, keeping him in the dark again.

He also wanted to kill Spider-Man.

"What's the plan then, Osborn?" He asked.

Green Goblin started to pace around.

"Yes, killing the spider is what we want. But along with that, I have a greater plan."

The two villains listened.

"We have a new home. We could have a lot more as well. What if...we can travel to other realities?"

"Sounds like nonsense." Doc Ock remarked.

"We're in a new one right now. Anything seems possible." Electro replied.

"We can go to new ones and regain what we've lost. Live the lives we desire." Norman said.

Otto immediately thought of his late wife and his failed experiment. He'd want to try again and do it right this time.

Electro thought of a world where he'd be respected...feared. One without Spider-Man.

Norman only wanted one thing. Power. With the ability to travel the multiverse, he'd be unstoppable. He'd rid each new reality of Spider-Man and its heroes.

"In order to do this, we need a significant power source. And I know just the place we can get it."

He went over to the side of the building where the wall had been knocked down. The three looked across the river and saw what used to be Avengers Tower, now rebranded to be the Oscorp Industries building owned by this world's Norman Osborn. They needed to borrow a few things.

The Green Goblin hoped his other self wouldn't mind.

THE TWO PETERS stood on the building, also joined by Y/N. They've been searching for the two villains for a bit and decided to stop and talk. Peter (Tom) sat against a railing as Peter (Tobey) and Y/N were in front of him. The two Spider-Men had their masks off.

"So you're like...fifty?" Peter (Tom) asked.

"I'm not that old, I'm thirty-one." Peter (Tobey) replied.

"Wow, that means Y/N's older than you."

"Not by a lot, though." Y/N chimed in.

"I've been Spider-Man in my world since I was 18." Peter (Tobey) added. "Thirteen years. Been thinking of settling down for a while."

"I've been swinging around since I was fifteen." Peter (Tom) said.

"Some Parker luck." The older man replied. "Didn't get to enjoy homecoming, huh?"

He shook his head and looked down. "Nope. Had to leave and fight some dude with wings."

Peter (Tobey) immediately remembered his encounter with Adrian Toomes.

"Vulture?"

The young man's head jerked back up at the name. "You fought him too?"

"One of my more painful ones." He rubbed his right shoulder. "He stabbed through my arm and had shards of glass all over my back."

The two other heroes grimaced at his story.

"He was stealing things from a jet. I had to fight him there and the plane crashed...nobody got hurt, though." Peter (Tom) replied.

Peter (Tobey) simply nodded, not sure if the younger man was trying to one-up him. He looked at Y/N.

"I still haven't figured out what exactly you are."

"We're on the same boat." Y/N replied before chuckling. "I'm like a ghost. People call me Specter."

"So you're like a superhero too?"

"Yeah."

"And that wizard back at the wizard place? He's one too?"

"Basically."

Peter (Tom) chimed in. "There's also a Hulk, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Captain Americaβ€”"

"Captain America?" Peter (Tobey) asked in awe, since he grew up reading his comics.

"Well, it's not Steve anymore." He added. "But Sam's cool."

The older man didn't understand what he meant, but brushed it off. "This world has other superheroes? That's not fair."

"You world had no Avengers? No other superheroes?" Y/N asked.

"I was solo for a while, before I met this boy who has the same powers as me." Peter (Tobey) said.

"Another Spider-Man? In your world?" Peter (Tom) asked.

"Yeah. He's a great kid. That's why I've been thinking of retiring and passing the mantle to him."

"Thirteen years of hero work. I'd say you deserve it." Y/N said, then thought of what awaits him in retirement. "Have any family?"

"A wife and a little girl. They mean the world to me." He answered. "You?"

Y/N thought of not only Wanda, but of the kids he had in the Westview hex. He really missed Billy, Tommy, and Vivian.

"I've been with a someone for about a decade now. Her name's Wanda."

"Who's also a superhero." Peter (Tom) added. "The Scarlet Witch."

"She a redhead?" Peter (Tobey) asked.

Y/N chuckled. "How'd you know?"

He shrugged. "Lucky guess. So is my wife, MJ."

"MJ?" Peter (Tom) looked at him. "My girlfriend's name is MJ and she's a brunette."

Before they can continue the conversation, they heard an explosion. They looked across the city and saw smoke rising from the top of building.

"That's Oscorp tower." Peter (Tom) spoke.

Peter (Tobey) looked at the young man. "Oscorp?"

"Name ring a bell?" Y/N asked.

The older Spider-Man put his mask back on.

"That's where they're at."

He leaped off the building and initiated his swing. Peter (Tom) activated his own mask and followed suit, with Specter immediately flying right behind.
