(Cassandra's POV): Time skip~ after saving Aya and kicking the castaways off the ship.

I tried to find Razer in worry that I wouldn't find him or anyone until I spotted my uncle, Kilowog, and the now-captured castaways. I also saw Razer carrying Aya... in his arms, and I softly gasped; my heart dropped to the pit of my stomach. My silver eyes widened at the scene in front of me like I was shattered across the face with a glass shard, and I felt the need to shout, "Hey!" Suddenly, my uncle saw me, showing relief through his domino mask, and I instantly hugged him tightly: "Hey hey, it's ok. You're safe now. Can you get inside the ship?"

Nodding in agreement, I was ordered to enter the ship, where I left, running towards my best friend and Razer: "Razer, what happened?" "The castaways tried to offline Aya." He answered before putting Aya on her feet, "Drussa was the one who disables and offline my CPU chamber." The minute she said Drussa, my blood boiled, and I slowly but darkly turned around; a hand grabbed my shoulder, and I slapped it away. Knowing that Razer was trying to stop me, it was too late for patience. I went down towards Drussa and started pulling the female castaway from Kilowog's green chain construct by punching her straight in the face: 

"That is for harming my friends, you b*tch!" 

"Heh, friends? She is just a robotic math computer, and you are a normal girl with nothing." This comment made me so mad and hurt that I slapped her face so hard that I felt my hand crack but ignored the pain: "AYA IS NOT A ROBOT NOR A MATH COMPUTER, I yelled at her and continued, "SHE IS KIND, SWEET, AND IS AN AMAZING BEST FRIEND THAN ANYONE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. And know what, Drussa?" 

"W-What?" Drussa asked, fearful for her life, while not knowing that my uncle, Kilowog, Aya, and Razer stared at me in shock mixed with disbelief, "I may be a normal girl... but I have friends, a team, and a family who I can trust and protect with or without being a god damn lantern. I can hack, fix, and even read better than you'll ever be, besides... I whispered, "You. Are. Beneath. My. Feet." I dropped her inside Kilowog's green construct chain and turned to take Aya inside, "C'mon, Aya. I told her, "Let's get inside before the asteroid hits the planet." "Analyzing behavior... analyzing..." Aya continued repeating, noting that she was still shocked at what I had done. Including the boys; they must be terrified of my anger right now.

(Narrator's POV): With the boys...

"Aya's back online. Kilowog starts by shaking away his fear for Hal Jordan's niece, "We're ready to blow this munktor stand! JORDAN, NOW!" He runs inside with the castaways in his green chain construct, as Hal Jordan blinks a couple of times before he wonders: "It doesn't make sense. He pondered while he looked at the power ring in the palm of his hand, "Why did the ring choose to stay here on this planet? And not go back to Oa? GO! Go back to Oa!" 

Hal throws the object into the air and immediately returns to the planet, causing the ring to spin around its center and revealing the answer he was seeking: "It can't be...Kilowog, take off right now! I have to stay behind, and there's something I need to do." "Jordan, time's up! Kilowog shouts, "The ring didn't find a replacement; we gotta go!" "It did. Hal says, "Our heroes have been this entire time." The team looked confused until Hal finally ordered them to get off the planet: "Get Aya, Cassie, and Razer off this planet, trust me." 

He unexpectedly leaves to create a green construct of a ground driller and attempts to make a hole big enough for the power ring to pass through. However, no one listened. Meanwhile, Cassandra was informed by Aya what her uncle was going to do; she ran outside with Razer, Kilowog, and Aya to see her uncle: "I ordered you off this rock. What are you doing?" "We're disobeying orders." Kilowog shrugs when Cassandra says, "You always told me that a team sticks together, uncle." This made him smirk before throwing the green power ring into the hole; it exploded in a full green beam of light, making everyone watch as the planet shot its green powers at the asteroid by blasting it into smithereens.

"I...Am...Mogo..." The Odym planet, also named Mogo, boomed its voice again, "Thank you, Hal Jordan of Earth. You have saved me by giving me the ring and knighting me. It continues to boom more of its voice: "You allowed me the power to save my planet from that asteroid." All members stared at the green sky, and Hal nodded: "Our pleasure." "For countless millennia, I have trapped evildoers here on my surface until they reform. Mogo spoke again, "I will keep these prisoners if you don't mind." Still amazed by the planet's offer, Kilowog shrugged: "Knock yourself out." He lets them go, only for the prisoners to get trapped by Mogo's powers to trap them inside the ground as they struggle to break free: 

"You have given me a new purpose, a new power. I am proud to be a green lantern, very proud. And I will be here whenever you have in need of me." "I gotta say, Jordan, Kilowog starts talking, "You're gathering one unorthodox team. But, it's an honor to be a part of it." Cassandra laughed a bit since she agreed with him while Hal smiled at his buddy and looked back at Mogo, "Welcome to the Green Lantern Corp, Mogo." Before the others could leave, Mogo asked, "Are you Cassandra of Earth?" Now it was everyone's turn to be shocked, "Yes, that would be me, Mogo. Cassandra comes up, "Is there something you need?" "No, but there is something I wish to give you in secret. Please walk towards the light." She looks at her uncle for permission, to which her uncle smiles. 

"We'll see you back on the ship." The team walked away, and Razer took one last glance at Cassandra before he shook it off and followed the others; Cassandra, on the other hand, took a breath and approached the light as it grew something special—an alien flower.

In outer space...(also, the flower does not exist; I made it up.)

Finally, everyone could relax off the planet since they knew Mogo was a green lantern corp; it was the greatest joy. Yet, now the team had questions:

"You mean to tell me that Mogo gave you a what?" 

"According to this planet, it is called 'Sacrae purpurae aquae flos,' also known as one of the rarest flowers ever grown in the frontier space. Its origins are unknown." Aya explained. Cassandra, however, was still staring at the beautiful white-purple-polish flower on her lap. Still, she did not understand why Mogo wanted to give it to her, yet it was another mystery. 

Until Cassandra's thoughts were interrupted by her uncle's voice, "Not going to lie, but I think it's pretty." "Thanks, uncle, but I still don't understand why Mogo gave me a flower either. Cassandra sees the petals glow down a bit, "Hmm, I think it needs water." She gets up and leaves the main room towards her shared room where Razer had just finished charging his ring, "Hey Razer, did you finish your charge?" "I did, thank you for asking." Razer sarcastically answers before he gets up to go to the bathroom, whereas Cassandra rolls her silver eyes at his sarcasm while she places the flower next to her laptop.

Before leaving, get a glass of water for the flower to stay well: ' ~Remember, the night can only grow stronger to protect you. The water is a source of life, and the sun murders it.~' Mogo's words had covered Cassandra's thoughts on what he meant, but even so, she would keep tabs on taking care of the alien flower. Once the cup is filled with water from the kitchen, she returns to her shared room, where she meets and sees Razer staring at the flower, making her smile.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Cassandra asked as she walked up behind him, which caused the Red Lantern to flinch but relax after realizing it was just Hal's niece, "It is... just like you are." Razer's words caused her heart to skip a beat. Meanwhile, an alien flower in front of them began to glow, producing various colors. 

White fireflies floated around the room, creating a star-like effect on the ceiling and walls. Cassandra gasped in amazement when, suddenly, one of them landed on her nose. Making Razer chuckle until he received one on his cheek, and also receiving a soft giggle from Cassandra before they were both called to eat dinner.

Whatever the future may bring, it will soon be revealed.
