THE SERUM-INFUSED man grabbed the super soldier by the collar and pulled him back up. Y/N grabbed his forearms and headbutted Harry in an attempt to escape, but he merely took the hit and threw Y/N across the room.
He landed on the coffee table and broke it. Meanwhile, Max Dillon was looking at the arc reactor in his hand.
Otto looked at him. "What have you done?"
"I liked you better before." Max replied.
He used his elecokenisis to magnetize Otto's actuators and fling him across the room. He broke through the wall and fell out of the building. Shortly after, Electro became a ghost-like current of electricity and flew out of the condominium.
Y/N propped himself up with his elbows. He looked up and saw that the only people in the room were him, Harry, Peter, and Norman. The other two were fighting in the dining room.
Harry started walking up to Y/N, who quickly got to his feet and prepared to combat the fellow enhanced man. Harry threw a punch but Y/N swiftly weaved away and hit him in the stomach. Harry doubled over and was met with another punch across his face.
"Harry. Don't do this." Y/N pleaded as the man stumbled back from the hit. "Let us help you."
"All you ever do is lie." He responded, thinking back at how his Peter betrayed him. "I won't make that mistake again."
Y/N took a breath in and prepared for the young man to attack once more. Harry charged at him and threw another punch but Y/N ducked under his attack and grabbed him by the waist, quickly suplexing him to the floor.
They both were on the ground but Harry ended up recovering quicker. He grabbed Y/N as he was getting up and pinned him to the wall. It cracked beneath their weight and Harry started wailing punches and knees at his abdomen.
Y/N blocked one of his knees and brought his own to Harry's stomach. He gained separation and tried to kick Harry away, but the man grabbed his leg and flung him into the other wall behind him.
The super soldier hit it and fell to the floor. He made sure to get up fast to prepare for Harry's next attack, but he was already in front of him. Harry kicked him this time and the sheer force sent Y/N through the wall into the other room.
The worker groaned amidst the rubble. Harry was a very strong man. He theorized that the Goblin serum in their world was much more potent than Erskine's serum and the one in his genes...but it came at the cost of their mental stability.
Harry came into the room Y/N was thrown in. Before he can act, Y/N sprang up and charged at him. He grabbed Harry by the neck and threw him too, the young man hitting the mirror above the dresser.
He groaned in pain. Their scuffle had torn the clothes that were on top of Harry's suit. Y/N had a good look at the black outfit with a green lining.
"Must be sweaty under all that." Y/N quipped.
Harry snarled and dashed at Y/N. He had a shard of glass in his hand from before and stabbed it into Y/N's side, but it immediately broke. Y/N grabbed his arm.
"I got my own suit too." Y/N said. "Don't you remember?"
He kneed Harry in the stomach and then twisted his arm, bringing him to the floor. As he was down, Harry kicked his foot up and hit Y/N in the face. He stumbled back where Harry pulled his legs and took him to the floor with him.
Harry grabbed another shard of glass and stabbed down toward Y/N's unprotected face. He grabbed his wrist and kept it from reaching his head.
Both men grunted as they each tried to achieve their goal, Harry trying to stab Y/N while Y/N tried to keep it away.
Y/N moved his grip to Harry's hands that held the shard. He held them tighter and forced him to cut his palms with the glass he was holding.
"Argh!"
Harry seethed his teeth in pain but kept up with the act.
Ultimately, the soldier moved it away just enough for him to stab down to the right of his head but still sustained a gash on his cheek.
Y/N brought his knee up and used some momentum to roll away and knocked Harry off of him. Y/N got up and kicked him across the face before running out of the room.
He looked around but didn't see any sign of Peter or Norman, but the sight of the broken balcony and the sounds of grunts below let him know they were still fighting on the other floor.
He saw his shield on the ground nearby. Y/N ran to it and picked it up, hearing footsteps running behind him as he did. He spun around and held it up, forcing Harry to punch it.
The sheer force of the punch made Y/N's feet slide back a bit. He then hit Harry's face with the shield before kicking the man away.
He rolled over and got on a knee. Y/N still held his shield as he stood a few feet away from him by the balcony. Harry panted as he looked down.
"Gods don't choose...they take." He repeated what his father said.
Y/N didn't say anything. He just stared at the villain and awaited his next move.
"Strong enough to have it all..." Harry muttered. "...but too weak to take it."
"Stay down, Harry. It's over."
Harry kept looking down. "Not until we say it is."
He discreetly grabbed two items from the pack on his waist. He threw them and one stuck to the top of the ceiling.
Y/N immediately reacted and held the shield above his head. The explosive blew up, causing rubble to fall but he was protected. What he didn't see...was the second one on the floor by his feet.
He was putting his shield down but it exploded before he can. The force of the explosion sent the soldier flying out of the building through the balcony.
He hit the side of the nearby building and kept falling. Y/N tried to use this grappling gauntlet and swing to safety but hit the edge of another balcony. He kept falling until he landed on top of a parked truck on the road.
Harry walked up to the balcony and looked down, seeing his adversary defeated on top of the truck. He glared as he walked off.
Y/N groaned as he opened his eyes. He rolled over and saw the shield still strapped to his right arm. Any movement he made shot pain throughout his body, garnering more grunts from him.
He finally got up, kneeling on the top of the truck. Ahead of him, he saw DODC vehicles at the front of the blown-up entrance of the condominium. He feared the worst as he thought of Peter and May.
He wasn't going to straight up ask the officers about the situation and wanted to hear from Peter himself. He hoped he had his phone still on him and wanted to call him. Thankfully, Y/N's was still intact.
He called Peter but there was no answer. He dropped down from the truck, grunting as he felt pain in his side. He called again but there was no answer yet again.
Y/N looked down at his phone. He remembered how Natasha showed him this tracking application that she'd often use.
"Thank you, honey." He muttered as he tried tracking Peter.
After a few seconds, he saw that he was nearby but moving toward the city. From there he decided to follow.
"Tragedy. What else can I call it? What more need be said? The damage, the destruction. You saw it with your own eyes."
It was raining and Peter stood on a rooftop in Times Square. The bag containing the villains' cures was on the floor by his feet. On a large screen ahead, J. Jonah Jameson gave live coverage of the attack.
"When will people wake up and realize that everywhere Spider-Man goes, chaos and calamity ensue? Everything Spider-Man touches comes to ruin. And we, the innocents, are left to pick up the pieces."
He looked up at the screen, the rainfall pouring onto his bloodied and bruised face. The boy was grief-stricken and filled with guilt. He was starting to believe the words coming from Jonah.
"J. Jonah Jameson reporting. Good night, and God help us all."
Peter kept looking ahead as the broadcast ended. He was just in his thoughts...hurt and guilt-ridden. He didn't even react to the footsteps he heard behind him.
"Peter..." Y/N spoke as he walked up to him, the rain pouring onto him also.
He didn't even turn around as he spoke. "She's dead. He killed her. I...I couldn't do anything to stop it. I should've."
The news that May was dead struck Y/N. He let out an exhale and reached over toward him, but Peter moved away before he can place a hand on his shoulder.
"It's all my fault. I should've just let them die! Then this wouldn't have happened!" He exclaimed.
Y/N did not know what to say initially, knowing what Peter was feeling after losing the only family he had.
"I have nobody." He added. "She's gone because I thought what I was doing was right."
"She thought it was right too, Peter." He finally spoke. "And you don't have nobody. I'm still here. We'reβ"
"Whatever." He interjected and started moving toward the edge. "I want to be alone. So let me be."
Peter shot a web toward the other building and leaped off, swinging away to wherever he was going to clear his mind. Y/N stood for a moment as he let the rain his face, before turning around and walking off.

HARRY RETRACED HIS steps to where he first appeared in this world. It was an alleyway, which was the same place he had hidden his glider. The man walked into it...but saw a silhouette within the darkness.
"Hello?" He called out.
Immediately, he came out and showed himself. It was Norman, his clothes ripped up and now showing the Goblin armor beneath.
"My son."
Harry was glad to see his father again. The older man noticed the suit beneath the young man's torn clothes as he walked up to him.
"I see black was more your style." Norman remarked.
Harry simply nodded. Norman continued.
"Didn't like the silver and yellow armor I had stored in the lair?"
"It was too out there. I like to be more discreet." Harry replied.
"Smart. Didn't want to bring attention as you went to kill Parker?"
"Exactly."
Norman nodded and walked back, his son following. He looked down at the trash bags and saw the small aircraft hidden beneath them.
"No garbage men at this time of night, thankfully." Norman said.
Harry moved them aside and saw his glider, which Harry coined the Sky Stick. Norman was also perplexed by its style.
"You going snowboarding or something?" He asked.
"Your design wasn't suitable for me. I wanted to be more agile and prioritized maneuverability."
Norman was impressed by his son's thinking. "Again. Smart."
Harry smirked and was glad to hear the praises coming from his father. Norman looked around before speaking again.
"Parker is preoccupied. How did you deal with the soldier?"
"Preoccupied as well. If you count him being thrown out of a multi-story building and landing onto the street."
"Wouldn't kill him. But it'll hurt like a hell. That should be enough to give us time."
"Time for what?" Harry asked.
"As long as that magic box is out there we are at risk. One press of the button and we are sent back. We die. You go back to being alone."
Harry did not want that to happen. He looked down before staring back at Norman.
"What should we do?"
Norman thought for a bit. "Parker at the moment is hurt. He's not thinking straight. But the soldier, he's resilient and more keen-minded. He sees the mistake that was made. He will probably be the one to go for the cube and send us back."
Harry listened as his father continued.
"We need to distract him. We need to hurt him. Get his mind out of wack before we look for the box."
"And how will we do that? Should I go back and see if he's still at the condo?" Harry asked.
"No. He probably wouldn't be there anymore. And if he was he'd be smart enough to expect you." Norman replied, then thought for a moment. "You spent time with him earlier...when you first arrived..."
"Yes. He basically took me under his wing."
Norman looked at Harry. "Was it just him?"
He shook his head. "No...it was his wife too."
Norman's expression changed to a menacing one. "A family?"
Harry nodded. An idea grew in the Goblin's mind.
"That's the key, Harry. That's how you distract him. That's how you hurt him."
He initially didn't know what his father was inferring, but the more he saw his eyes...the more he began to realize. He recalled hearing about how the Green Goblin put his world's Aunt May in the hospital just to hurt Peter.
Still, Harry questioned what his father wanted him to do.
"How will Iβ?"
Norman grabbed his shoulders and spoke to him.
"The heart, Harry. You must attack his heart."

MJ AND NED sat at the table in the living room. The television nearby showed a broadcast talking about the incident at Happy's condominium in Long Island City. They were watching it along with Natasha, Maggie, and Nikolai.
"He still hasn't answered?" Ned asked MJ.
She shook her head. She looked at Natasha, who was standing behind her sofa with her phone also in hand.
"Any luck?" She asked the redhead.
"No." Natasha looked at her phone and sighed. "Not even Y/N."
The reporter at the scene continued speaking on television.
"We are told that multiple people are injured and we can confirm that at least one person has been killed."
Hearing that news worried the people inside. Nikolai looked at her mother.
"Are they going to be back?" He asked, worried about Y/N, Peter, and May.
She rubbed his head. "They will, baby. They will."
Maggie overheard her mother but didn't say a word. She got up from the couch and started making her way to the back door. Natasha took notice.
"Where are you going?"
She shrugged. "Finding a way to Long Island City."
"Nuh-uh. Your father said for all of us to stay here."
"I have to make sure they'reβ"
"They are fine. You have to trust them."
"You don't know that!" Maggie finally erupted. "You're just telling yourself that so you could feel better while they're probably underneath all that rubble!"
Natasha inhaled and didn't respond. Maggie looked at the others, seeing that her words affected Nikolai. She then stormed out of the house. Her mother looked back at them and shortly went out afterward.
Maggie stood in the middle of the backyard, her arms crossed and looking down. Natasha walked up and stopped a couple of feet behind her.
"You're right. I'm probably filling my head...along with Nik's...with false hope. Because I can't dread the thought of them being..."
She stopped. Maggie still looked ahead as Natasha continued.
"I can't dread the thought of you two losing loved ones again, especially this way. We lost Tony...we lost Pietro...recently we lost T'Challa. I was never one to hope and pray, but that's all I can do right now. At least for you."
Maggie finally spoke up. "You can stop babying me. Save that for Nik. I understand what you used to go through and I understand the state of the world now and what I'll have to go through too."
"But it shouldn't be that way. When you were growing up we didn't want you to do what we did. Yes, we helped you train butβ"
"Because deep inside you knew that wouldn't be the case. Everything changed after half the world came back and it can't be denied. Things aren't the same...like Aunt Yelena."
Natasha sighed. "I told you that she loves you."
"We haven't seen her in over a year. After Uncle Pietro died, she never showed back up." Maggie replied. "You keep having hope that'll she be back and that's when you baby us into thinking the same. I feel like that ship has sailed."
Her mother took in the words. It hurt her that her daughter was beginning to think that her aunt abandoned them.
"I would rather be realistic...than optimistic." Maggie added.
Natasha nodded. "I understand. But still, don't lose hope on your father and Peter...because I'm sure as hell not."
She started walking back to the house. Maggie continued standing in the same spot and stared ahead.
Suddenly, she heard a sound. It was like a faint whirring in the sky as if an aircraft was passing by. Natasha heard it too and turned around.
Maggie looked up at the sky and saw a black figure getting closer. Her mother noticed it and started jogging toward her.
"Maggieβ"
An orange sphere dropped down at hit the small storage building nearby. The blast sent the two redheads to the floor.
MJ and Ned heard the commotion. They looked out the window and saw the aftermath. Nikolai tried to get a look but the teenager held him back. She looked at Ned.
"Hide the cube!"
Ned obliged and did as told. MJ kept hold of Nikolai and stepped away from the window.
Natasha and Maggie were still on the grass. They were slowly getting up when the whirring got louder. They looked up and saw the figure emerging from the smoke.
"Ladies." The New Goblin spoke through his mask.
Natasha got up and helped Maggie to her feet. Harry accelerated at them with his glider. Natasha grabbed Maggie and shoved her out of the way, allowing herself to be hit by him instead.
The edge of the glider impacted Natasha and threw her into the fence. Maggie watched it all unfold.
"Mom!" She exclaimed, then ran at Harry.
Natasha groaned while on the ground and saw her daughter running at the villain.
"No..."
Harry was still looking at Natasha and didn't notice the teenager coming at him. She leaped onto the man and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Argh!" Harry grunted.
He flew his glider lowly by the ground and tried to shake her off. He finally hit her against the beam of the basketball hoop very hard and knocked her off.
Harry looked down at the girl and glared. He took out his sword from his pack. Before he can raise it over his head, he was electrocuted from behind.
The villain groaned in pain as the node shocked him. Natasha had recovered and shot him with her Widow's Bite that she had on. The Black Widow dashed at New Goblin and forced him off the glider with a flying kick.
Harry rolled on the floor but quickly got up. He gripped his sword and stared ahead at the Widow.
She knelt over her daughter and made sure she was okay before looking back at the villain. She held her weapon up and aimed at him.
Harry retracted his mask and revealed his face. Natasha just shook her head, figuring it was him based on his mannerisms and body type alone.
"What? Your reunion with Pops didn't go so well?" Natasha asked.
"I'd say it went better than expected." Harry shot back before running at her with his sword.
She shot at him with her Widow's Bite but the man's reflexes helped him dodge the node. He got close and swiped his sword but Natasha dodged the attack. Harry kept trying to land one of his swipes but the redhead was weaving with ease.
Natasha tried sweeping his legs but he avoided it with a jump. He stabbed down but Natasha rolled away and avoided the sword. The redhead got to a knee and quickly shot him again with the Widow's Bite.
Harry grimaced in pain and it allowed Natasha to kick the sword out of his hand. She ran at him but the villain recovered and grabbed her by the throat.
He spun around and pinned the woman against the wall. As he did, blades popped out of his sleeve and he tried to stab Natasha in the face with them.
She quickly jabbed her Widow's Bites at his stomach and made him loosen his grip. She shoved him away but he immediately tried attacking again.
Natasha moved away from the blade and forced him to stab into the wall.
He was stuck to the wall which allowed Natasha to wail a few punches at him. Harry finally landed a hard kick at her stomach and sent her down, then freed himself by breaking off the blades from his sleeve.
Natasha let out a cough and groaned as she held her abdomen. The force of the enhanced man's kick surely broke a couple of ribs.
Harry started making his way to the redhead. He still had his mask retracted and menacingly grinned. Suddenly, he was hit by a vibranium disc.
The impact sent him flying back. The shield bounced back into the hands of Y/N, who now wore his whole Captain America outfit that he had under his torn clothes from before.
"Don't even get near her you son of a bitch." Y/N said in a belligerent tone.
Harry slowly got up and smiled. He let out a laugh as his father would, but less animated and more bitter.
"Oh, I've already had my fun with her." He spoke.
There was a stare-down between them. Natasha propped herself on her elbows and looked at Harry, then glanced at Maggie nearby. She was slowly starting to get up. The New Goblin took notice of this too.
Harry continued. "Now for the other little redhead."
He quickly dropped a smoke pellet at them and disoriented Y/N for a moment. He coughed and swatted away the smoke, looking up upon hearing a scream.
"Ugh! Let me go!" Maggie exclaimed.
Harry had grabbed Maggie and called his glider. He hopped onto it and floated up into the air. The soldier watched in horror.
"Try and catch up, Flag-Boy!" Harry taunted and let out a laugh before reactivating his mask.
"No...no!" Natasha began to exclaim.
He started flying away but Y/N quickly reacted and shot the grapple from his gauntlet. It stuck to the back of his glider and he was pulled up with it. Natasha can only watch as her husband and daughter got small and smaller in the distance.
Y/N put the shield on his back and used both hands to try and climb up. Harry, still holding onto Maggie by the waist, looked back and noticed the soldier.
"Looks like someone decided to hitch a ride!"
They continued flying and were soaring over the river toward Manhattan. Y/N still held on and wouldn't let himself fall into the water.
"Harry!" Y/N shouted. "Harry, stop!"
They made it to the city and were near buildings now. He heard the man's request just then.
"Sure!" He replied.
He abruptly stopped and the inertia caused Y/N to hit the side of one building. The window broke and he fell in...but still held onto the wire connected to the glider.
Harry kept going and Y/N was pulled out of the building. He still held on but New Goblin made sure to ride close to other buildings, causing Captain America to hit and drag alongside them.
It hurt and was very uncomfortable for him, but Y/N kept holding on. He needed to stop Harry and save his daughter.
They got deeper into the city. Maggie tried elbowing and punching Harry but the enhanced man wasn't reacting to the hits. He looked back and saw Y/N still holding on.
New Goblin made a steep maneuver downward before gliding back up and riding the side of a building. Y/N was close behind. Harry then made a sharp right and soared through the road.
The momentum of it made Y/N crash through another building. This time he ended up letting go and crashing through the other side, landing on the rooftop of a nearby building.
He groaned as he slowly started getting up. He feared that he now lost them and that Harry was gone, but to his surprise, he was still around.
"Y/N!" Harry yelled from above.
He looked up, seeing New Goblin very far up by the top of the larger building across from where Y/N was. He held Maggie by the neck and dangled her off the glider.
Y/N tried shooting his grapple but Harry was too high up. The man took a breath and began to call out to the villain.
"Harry! Please..." Y/N spoke. "Just put her down...don't involve her in this."
Harry didn't respond and kept staring down at the soldier, his grip still around her neck. Maggie writhed in his grasp.
"This is between just you and me! She's just an innocent girl, Harry!" Y/N shouted. "She's my girl. You want to hurt someone? Hurt me! Not her!"
Harry looked at her then back at Y/N. His face was stoic and non-reactionary.
"Hurt you?" He asked, then grinned. "That's exactly what I'm doing."
Immediately, Harry let go of Maggie. She started falling and screaming with Y/N watching in horror.
"No!" Y/N yelled at the top of his lungs.
As she was falling, Y/N ran at top speed toward the edge of the rooftop. He timed his jump at the precise moment Maggie met his level, and leaped off to grab her.
He succeeded and they crashed through the window of the next building. Y/N took the brunt of the impact and tried keeping Maggie safe in his arms.
She groaned and Y/N looked down at her. He moved some hair away from her face, noticing that she still sustained a few cuts. It hurt seeing her injured.
"Dad?" She panted.
"You're okay, baby." He reassured her. "You know I got you."
As he held her the soldier heard whirring behind him. Harry floated outside in his glider and looked through the broken window.
"Nice catch." Harry remarked. "It was very theatrical."
Y/N slowly looked up from his daughter and glared ahead. He slowly looked back and the New Goblin and all the villain did was smirk.
He carefully laid Maggie down on the floor and stood up. She reached over for her father but he already was walking toward the window.
Harry kept speaking. "Imagine if I took your wife instead. She wouldn't have been as light so any slight miscalculation on your jump wouldn't have been pretty."
Y/N bellowed and dove out of the window, grabbing onto Harry. The villain grunted and started to fly while facing Y/N. They engaged in combat on the glider.
"I'm going to kill you!" Y/N exclaimed as he started to punch him.
Harry countered with his own hits too, still flying through the city.
"Not so honorable like the Captain before you, huh?" He taunted.
"I'm not my father." Y/N shot back with seethed teeth.
Harry chuckled. "Well, I am."
They continued to fight in the air. Harry tried to kick his leg in but Y/N acrobatically spun around him to avoid it.
Y/N landed punches at his face and knees to his abdomen. Harry tried to headbutt him but Y/N dodged the hit and pushed his head back.
Harry accelerated toward a building. Y/N looked back and saw where he was going. He reacted by flipping over Harry and getting behind him, forcing the villain to take the impact instead.
He faced him again and they continued flying. Harry snarled and took his sword back out, trying to kill Y/N with it.
The super soldier weaved away from the swipes and ultimately leaped off the glider onto a rooftop.
Y/N rolled onto his feet and looked up seeing the incoming Goblin. He dove and avoided his incoming glider. As Harry had his back turned, Y/N quickly threw his shield and hit him in the back.
It hurt Harry but he still floated in the air. He took out orange spheres from his glider and immediately threw them. They became razor bats in mid-air.
Y/N dodged them and blocked some with his shield. Some of them came back and stabbed Y/N's back. He groaned in pain and pulled one out.
"The hell?" Y/N muttered, wondering how its metal was able to stab through his suit.
Harry was about to take a pumpkin bomb out of his glider, but a web suddenly stuck to his back and he was pulled off the glider. He landed on the floor and groaned.
Y/N looked around and expected to see Peter. He eyed someone perched on the water tower nearby, but he didn't look like his friend...
Harry got up and looked up as well, spotting the figure. Unlike Y/N, he immediately recognized the man. He continued glaring at him.
"Peter..."
The middle-aged man stared back at the New Goblin. He also recognized his old friend.
"Harry..."
