" She went to make poison for me Maya aunt! ", Manik thought, then replied to his aunt sighing , " Okay fine.. I will change the channel and she will eat her popcorns! ".

Dadi and Pinky squealed in happiness.

Nandini returned smirking, she added much salt in the popcorn for him. She gave to him, but Manik smirked returned to her, " Look I changed to your channel.. now you eat popcorns & enjoying your serial.. ".

Nandini widened her eyes shocked, " What?.. But.. But I made it for you! ".

" But I changed the channel for you! ", he said, " And you have to eat these popcorns also! ".

" Aww.. ", Dadi, Maya and Pinky smiled at them, little did they know what's the reason for the sweetness between them.

" Eat na.. ", Manik smiled bringing the popcorn near her lips; Nandini opened her mouth slightly and shut her eyes tightly.

Suddenly she heard thud sound, she opened her eyes and saw the popcorns on the floor.

" Thank you Ayiyappa.. thank you.. You saved me from eating these popcorns.. ", Nandini muttered smiling, " Ayee aye.. you performed a miracle for me.. ".

" I'm the one who dropped it.. ", Manik looked at her in disbelief, " From where did you buy such bakwas brain now? ".

" Aww.. I don't have bakwas brain ok.. ", Nandini pouted, " And why did you drop it? Didn't you want me to eat it? ".

" I can't make a mad person taste its own madness.. Who knows it might turn you crazier than you are! ", he said.

" What are both whispering to each other? ", asked Dadi teasingly.

" Nothing.. I was wishing her Good night! " , Manik said and left from there.

Nandini smiled, " Aap kitne ajeeb hai.. (You're so strange).. Really it requires a heart and not brain to understand what you do and why.. Isliye I might have bakwas brain, but I have original heart ji.. I can see that you're good person.. You only show to the world that you're Monster.. ".

MANAN ROOM

Nandini walked in slowly and Manik frowned, " Did your serial end so early? Don't they last for 30 min? ".

" I thought to watch World cup with you! ", she said and sat on the bed staring at the TV on their room.

" Really? Do you know what a goal means? ", Manik asked mocking her.

" You think you're funny but you're not ok! ", she said making faces.

" I don't even want to be.. Can't steal your key success factor! ", he smirked.

" I thought I would come here and ask you to be my friend and you're making fun of me.. ", Nandini pouted.

" Why do we need to be friends? We already crossed that line.. We're husband and wife! ", he said irritating her more.

" Urghh.. ", Nandini gritted her teeth and buried her face on the pillow, " Watch your world cup alone now.. I wish the world start throwing cups at you now! ".

Manik chuckled, " I was alone.. You're the one who came! ".

Nandini stood up and started walking to leave when she felt his hold on her.

" Comedy piece are you going to make popcorns for me? This time don't add to much salt ok! ", he said smirking.

Nandini turned back and glared at him, she opened the door when she felt his hold on her. He closed the door fast and pinned her to it, " Why are you getting angry?.. I'm just kidding with you! ".

Nandini didn't reply, she was stuck at words because of their closeness.

She could feel his breath, his nose almost touching hers and his hand on her waist. She didn't move, just stood like a statue..

Manik also stopped smiling, realizing the position they were in. His hands over her waist, she leaned on the wall and their faces close to each other. he raised his hand and cupped her face getting lost in her hazel eyes, he stare at her lips moving his face closer. Nandini closed her eyes feeling butterflies on her stomach.

" Yaaaaay.. ", the crowd cheered as the team scored one more goal.

Manik and Nandini got startled, Manik took a step back and looked away. Nandini looked down shyly not knowing what to do or what to say!

" Uh..woh.. do you want popcorn? ", she asked awkwardly. Manik nodded his head also feeling awkward.

" I will go and make it.. ", she said and opened the door, and quickly escaped from the door.

While Nandini went, Aman called Manik. Manik attend his call, " Hmm.. ".

" You don't know how much curious everyone here is to know where you're MM.. ", Aman said and starts narrating him everything.

"MM?.. Are you listening? ", Aman asked. Manik got startled, his mind was in what just happened minutes ago, and he wonders what magic this girl has to pulls him to her. Why did he even got so close to her? She's just a stranger and why his heart is treating her like his own?

AT KITCHEN

Nandini walked here and there nervously, she patted her chest softly, " Why my heart is making this dhak dhak sound? What's happening with me? ".

Nandini got angry with the non-stop dhak dhak, she start punching her chest, " Hey.. Heart don't beat me okay otherwise I will beat you too in Salman's style.. ".

Her mind went to what happened minutes ago, she gulped.

" Why did I let him come so close to me? And it didn't feel wrong.. ", she thought.

Dadi passed from kitchen and stare at Nandini beating herself. " What are you doing bitiya? ".

" My heart is beating me Dadi ji.. it's doing dhak dhak.. I'm also beating him to stop! ", Nandini pouted.

Dadi giggled, " You're so cute Nandini bitiya.. Chiku was right.. You're his Comedy piece! He really needed someone who can make him laugh! ".

Nandini widened her eyes and opened her mouth in big "O" shape.
