SM confirms The reason Why Sunmi has been missing from recent group activities.

Recently, fans everywhere noticed how less NCT/GØLDEN member Bang Sunmi have been showing up during group activities. She has been seen during the recent NCT 2020 intro video and through their teaser photos.

But anything beyond that has been radio silence from the Miami native. Fans everywhere became concerned when three months has passed and still, no Sunmi.

After many pleas from fans and other people, SM finally releases a statement on the whereabouts of Miss Bang. This is what they had to say.

  " In regards to Bang Sunmi's sudden disappearance, she has been placed
on a temporary hiatus from both groups due to personal reasons and her mental health. She has taken the time to fly home and recover from her mental and emotional issues and asks the fans to not worry about her. She asks for the fans to please stay calm and that she'll be back someday. "

That same night, fans all over the world got #weloveyousunmi, #oursunshinebang, and #wemissyousunmi trending as more and more fans began sending her supportive messages and love.

It is unknown if she has seen the messages but the members of both NCT and GØLDEN has responded to the love and reassured the fans that Sunmi will be okay.
