in which mark tries to get some alone time with sunmi before the two of them are too busy with their subgroups.

Dating someone as a kpop idol was already hard enough. Dating someone who was in the same group as you is even tougher.

Because if drama starts, it would be awkward working with that person due to the animosity and the tension in the air. Especially for the other members.

But Mark and Sunmi made it work. They were perfect for each other. Anyone could see that. And they didn't mind keeping their relationship a secret from fans.

In fact, if they could, they would keep it a secret forever. If it came to that in the future.

But it also wouldn't bother them if they were to be public. Their fans shipped them heavily and SM doesn't want to end up like Cube if they were kicked out for dating. So it was a win for the two of them.

What were they gonna do? Fire their golden idols? Not a chance.

But since their relationship was new, Mark and Sunmi wanted to keep everything under wraps for the time being. And then maybe they could talk about being public.

They were still young. They had a lot of learning about love before anything.

Mark, not too long ago, was placed in a subgroup called SuperM with Taeyong, Lucas and Ten. The four members were gonna work with Taemin, Baekhyun and Kai as a group. An exciting project that made him happy.

Sunmi, also, was placed in a subgroup as well. GOLDEN was a subgroup under the new undercompany entertainment GEN.X ENT. Meaning soon, she would have to leave to film two music videos and prepare for a debut concert event.

But for now, they had time off and they decided to use some of it for themselves.

Or at least try to.

"I'm just saying, you should give it a chance." Sunmi pried, grabbing a big bowl of popcorn from the kitchen counter.

The two planned to spend the afternoon together, watching a multitude of movies. Ranging from romantic comedies to even horror films.

The rest of the members were all out doing whatever, Haechan had promotions with Dream. It was the perfect time to have their alone time.

Mark couldn't be happier.

"I think its weird that you dip your popcorn in nacho cheese." He chuckled out as she walked over to the couch.

She folded her knees onto the couch, snuggling under Mark's arm with the bowl of popcorn in hand.

Mark instinctively pulled her closer to him, caressing her bare shoulder lightly with his finger tips.

"You like watermelon ice cream." She shot back. "In fact, you like watermelon everything and that's not weird?"

Mark shrugged, unfazed. "Hey, don't knock it until you try it."

"Oh, the irony in that sentence." Sunmi joked, earning a laugh from him.

Mark looked at her, softly. She stared up back at him, a smile gracing her face.

"What are you staring at?" She asked, noticing how close he was leaning in.

Mark's eyes darted from hers to her lips and then back with a small grin in his face.

"I can't admire my baby's beauty?" He asked, playfully, flicking her chin with his free hand.

Sunmi blushed pink, shyly smiling before looking down.

He always knew how to make her heart crazy.

Mark was never really the one for PDA or cute nicknames, at least publically. But when it was just them, he showed a side of him that was only reserved for her. And it made her feel giddy and light on her feet.

"I'm just glad that we have our vacation before we are seperated." Mark sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "You know after this, we'll most likely be too busy to even talk on the phone too much."

Sunmi pouted a little at that thought. Too busy to even talk on the phone? This really was gonna suck. But she could at least enjoy now.

"Well, we have a couple of weeks to ourselves." She said, smiling at him once again.

Mark smiled back, placing a kiss on her nose. "And we are completely alone. Nothing could stop this now."

Just as the couple was about to kiss, the front door swung open so suddenly.

The noise made the young couple jump apart.

The two looked to see Jungwoo walking in hastily. He looked like he had been crying. Poor thing.

"I had a really bad day and all I need is some to hold me and cuddle me and tell me everything is gonna be okay!" Jungwoo whined, tears streaming down his face.

Sunmi, instantly feeling so worried, gave Mark the bowl and stood up from her space.

"Aww, Snoopy!" She cooed, hugging him. "Everything is gonna be okay, I promise."

Mark watched as Jungwoo sniffled, cuddling his face into her shoulder.

Now, Mark isn't usually jealous, nor is he usually annoyed. But when you plan some alone time, with a movie, popcorn, an evening of cuddles and maybe a make out session, and then suddenly that gets interrupted by one on his bandmates, his bros. Yeah, he was feeling pretty peeved.

Don't get him wrong, he wanted to help Jungwoo in whatever way he could. But if only he had came in maybe the next day or even a few hours in, then he wouldn't be feeling this way.

But of course, since his girlfriend is a generous soul and a kindred spirit, she has the mommy instinct in her.

Which only comes out when one of ther members are in distress.

And nothing else matters but making that member feel better.

"Snoopy, don't cry." She cooed again, holding his teary face in her hands.

She wiped the tears from his cheeks with her thumb as he continued to hiccup.

"Do you want to join us for a movie night?" She invited. "We have popcorn."

Jungwoo sniffled again, fiddling with his fingers.

"I-I do like Gone with the Wind. "

Sunmi smiled at him, happy to get even a small smile from him. "Well, you're in luck because that's what we're gonna watch, come on."

Holding his hand, she pulled him with her back on the couch. This time, Jungwoo sat in between the couple while Mark had the popcorn.

"Um, babe." Mark interrupted quickly. "Aren't we supposed to be having quality time together?" Mark briskly reminded, starting to feel a little more annoyed.

Sunmi looked at him with sympathy in her eyes. "I know but we can't let him be on his own when he's having a bad day."

"I-I don't wanna interrupt your evening." Jungwoo said sincerely. "How about I just go?"

"No, stay." Sunmi insisted, stopping him from leaving. "Mark, I promise tomorrow, me and you can restart our quality time."

Mark sighed, he couldn't stay upset at her. She was only helping a friend. And Jungwoo looked like he needed the pick me up.

So he let it sly.

"Okay, I'm keeping you up to that promise."

"Not a problem, Markie."

So Mark, Jungwoo and Sunmi spent the afternoon watching movies. It wasn't that bad, actually. Of course, he wanted to be alone with his girlfriend but having Jungwoo around wasn't that bad.

At least it wasn't Haechan, who is known for being quite clingy with Sunmi.

But what Mark didn't know was how long these few weeks were actually gonna be.
