# 00. ACT TWO !

Everything in Sadie Henderson's life turned on its axis and she found herself living through a movie-like reality, emerging from the otherside with unlikely friends and connections to people she only knew remotely, and much more involved in the life of her brother and his best friends.

Will Byers had gone missing, then Barb had too. And now Sadie was considerably close friends with Steve Harrington, of all people, with some sort of murmur of offered help from the Chief of Hawkins whenever she needed, the memory of a sweet girl with a buzzcut who also happened to have escaped Hawkins lab with powers akin to telepathy and psychokinesis. And on top of all that, she attended bi-weekly dinners with the Hollands on account of their daughter going missing and all they had left were her two best friends.

It was strange, and nothing how she expected her life to go a year prior.

Because now it was Halloween again, approaching the anniversary of Will Byer's disappearance - and what better to mark it than with the arrival of someone new? Or two someones, as Sadie found that Billy Hargrove was far too interested in her for Steve to sit still amongst his own relationship problems and Dustin found his step sister, Max, rather pretty with an admirable attitude to match.

It was with the spark of numerous problems related to the Demogorgon and the disappearance a year prior that Sadie found that her best friend's ex-boyfriend was the one she turned to in times of need, and that over the course of their friendship some ignored, completely unspoken feelings had emerged.

And with Nancy and Steve's breakup, joined with Dustin's discovery, Sadie didn't quite know where she was going to end up this time. Nothing could have prepared her for what happened the year before, and nothing could prepare her for the events to come.
