With South Korea being officially lgbtq+ friendly, Moon took the opportunity to talk about it on her recent vlive, entitled as "gender and sexuality".

Millions of people watched how Moon celebrated the fact that people can now be free to express and love how and who they want and, in the end of the vlive, she took the opportunity to come out as pansexual:

Fans loved how open she was about it and decided to ask her if it was her way of coming out to them.
